Important
Before you begin: Open, identify and count all parts prior to assembly. Lay out on a
smooth and non-abrasive surface. You will need the parts identified on page 4, 5 & 6 of
this instruction manual.
NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE GLUE WITH DOWELS. EXCESS GLUE CAN
BE WIPED OFF WITH DAMP CLOTH.
Insert Dowels AT LEAST half of the way tapping lightly with a rubber mallet IF NECESSARY.
CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION
HOW THE KD ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS
1. Screw Cam Bolt into the threaded insert on panel.
2. Insert Cam Lock into pre-drilled hole on panel.
3. Make sure Cam Lock pointed arrow is pointed towards the entry of Cam Bolt.
4. Connect both panels together; making sure Cam Bolt goes into pre-drilled hole on the
end of panel with Cam Lock.
5. Once Cam Bolt is connected inside Cam Lock, take Phillips Screwdriver and tighten
Cam Lock clockwise.
You are now ready to assemble our KD unit.

Assembly Instructions
Note: Please do not fully tighten all bolts until you finish assembling all parts, then go back and
fully tighten all bolts, this will make it easier during assembly of unit.
1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts listed.
2. Pick up Left Side Panel (A), Right Side Panel (B) and Divider Panel (C), insert and screw
the Large Cam Bolts (9) into the middle outside holes with threaded inserts. Make sure the
Cam Bolts (9) are screwed all the way into the pre-attached plastic bushings. See detail #1.
3. Attach the Large Wooden Dowels (12) into the middle holes in the Left Fix Shelf (D) & Right
Fix Shelf (E). DO NOT put dowels in the Cam Bolt holes. Tap in with a rubber mallet if
necessary. See detail #1.
*It is very important to use a small amount of glue on both ends of dowels.
4. Pick up the Left & Right Fix Shelf (D & E) and insert the Large Cam Locks (8) into the end
holes. Make sure that all the arrows on the Cam Locks are pointing toward the entry of
Large Cam Bolts. Align and attach both Fix Shelves (D & E) between Side Panels and
Divider Panel in place as shown in detail #1. (See page #3 cam lock system operation
supplement). Make sure the Cam Locks on both fix shelves point toward bottom of the unit.
Tighten all the Cam Locks clockwise.
5. Repeat the procedure to attach 2 Back Panels (G) onto the Left & Right Fix Shelf (D & E),
make sure the Cam Locks on Back Panels point toward inside of the unit. See detail #1A.

6. Insert the Large Wooden Dowels (12) into the bottom holes in the Left Side Panel (A), Right
Side Panel (B), Divider Panel (C) and both Back Panels (G). DO NOT put dowels in the
holes with threaded inserts. Tap in with a rubber mallet if necessary. See detail #2.
7. Using the inserted dowels as guide, align and attach Bottom Panel (F) to last assembly with
ten 2-1/4” Bolts (1) and Small Flat Washers (5), securely tighten all bolts with the Allen
Wrench provided. See detail #2.
8. Screw 6 Floor Levelers (16) into the bottom threaded inserts of Bottom Panel (F) by rotating
clockwise. See detail #2.
9. With assistance stand the assembled unit upright for next step.

10.Insert the Large Cam Locks (8) into the upper holes on the Left & Right Side Panel (A & B)
and Divider Panel (C). Make sure that all the arrows on the Cam Locks are pointing up. See
detail #3.
11.Insert and screw six Large Cam Bolts (9) into the metal plates underneath Top Glass (Q) as
shown in detail #3. Make sure the Cam Bolts (9) are screwed all the way into the metal
plates.
12.Ask for assistance to position the Top Glass (Q) in place. Make sure that all Cam Bolts are
connected inside Cam Locks simultaneously. Tighten all the Cam Locks clockwise. Now
cover the pre-drilled hole for cam lock by inserting the Plastic Cover (14) provided. See
detail #3.

13.Pick up one Drawer Back Panel (N) and attach 4 Small Wooden Dowels (13) into the middle
holes on both sides with a small amount of Glue. DO NOT put dowels in the Cam Bolt holes.
Proceed to insert 4 Small Cam Locks (10) into the back holes of the Back Panel (N). Make
sure that all the arrows on the Cam Locks are pointing toward the entry of Cam Bolts. See
detail #4.
14.Pick up Left Drawer Short Side (J) and securely screw two Small Cam Bolts (11) into the
holes with threaded inserts. Align and attach to the Drawer Back Panel (N) in place. Make
sure that the groove of Left Drawer Short Side is in a line with the groove of Drawer Back
Panel and the Cam Locks on Drawer Back Panel point toward back of the drawer. Once the
Cam Bolt is connected inside Cam Lock, tighten all the Cam Locks clockwise.
15.Repeat last step to attach the Left Drawer Long Side (K) at the other end of Drawer Back
Panel.
16.Now insert Left Drawer Bottom Panel (O) into the grooves of both Drawer Side Panels (J &
K) and Drawer Back Panel (N) properly. See detail #4.
