How to adjust the European adjustable hinges on doors
Shipping may cause doors to go out of alignment. If you find that the doors need to be adjusted
slightly, turn the appropriate screw as illustrated.
1. TO ADJUST DOOR FORWARD OR BACKWARD.
2. TO ADJUST DOOR TO RIGHT OR TO LEFT.
3. TO ADJUST DOOR UP OR DOWN.

IMPORTANT
Before you begin: Open, identify and count all parts prior to assembly. Lay out parts on a flat and non-
abrasive surface. You will need the parts identified on page 4 and 5 of this instruction manual.
NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE GLUE WITH THE DOWELS. EXCESS GLUE CAN BE
WIPED OFF WITH A DAMP CLOTH.
Insert Dowel at least half way by tapping lightly with a rubber mallet (not included), IF NECESSARY.
CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION
HOW THE KNOCK DOWN (KD) ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS
1. Screw the Cam Bolt into the pre-drilled small holes on the panel. Connect both panels together; making sure
the Cam Bolt goes into the pre-drilled hole at the end of the panel with the Cam Lock.
2. Insert the Cam Lock into the pre-drilled large hole in the panel. Make sure the arrow on the Cam Lock is
pointed towards the Cam Bolt.
3. Once the Cam Bolt is connected inside the Cam Lock, take a Phillips screwdriver (not included) and
tighten the Cam Lock clockwise.
4. Plug the Cam Lock Cover into the cross slot of the Cam Locks to conceal the cam.
You are now ready to assemble the KD unit.

Assembly Instructions
1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts. Assemble the unit on a
carpeted floor or the empty carton to avoid any scratch.
2. Securely screw the Cam Bolts (2) into the designated small holes on the Top Panel (A) and the Bottom
Panel (C) using a Phillips screwdriver.
3. Securely screw the Cam Bolts (2) into the designated small holes on the Lower Side Panels (F and G)
and the Lower Partition Panels (H and I).

4. Securely screw seventeen Cam Bolts (2) into the designated small holes on the Center Shelf (B) on both
sides.
5. Insert two 30 mm Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes of the Middle Crossbar Assembly (J). Tap in
with a rubber mallet, if necessary. Make sure that you use a small amount of glue with both ends of all
dowels.
6. Align the drilled holes on the Center Shelf (B) with the inserted Wood Dowel (3) on the Middle
Crossbar Assembly (J), and then press them together. Attach the Middle Crossbar Assembly (J) in place
by engaging three Cam Locks (1) (Refer to page 3 on Cam Lock system operation supplement).

7. Align and attach the Left Middle Stile (K) to the Left Lower Partition Panel (H) with two 30 mm Wood
Dowels (3) and two Cam Locks (1).
8. Repeat the same procedure to combine the Right Middle Stile (L) with the Right Lower Partition Panel (I).
9. Attach the Base Rear Stretcher (O) to the Bottom Panel (C) with three 30 mm Wood Dowels (3) and
four Cam Locks (1).

10. Attach the assembled Lower Partition Panels (H and I) to the Bottom Panel (C) with the Middle Stiles
(K and L) facing forward, using four 30 mm Wood Dowels (3) and four 50 mm Screws (7) as shown.
11. Glue six 30 mm Wood Dowels (3) into the large holes of the Bottom Panel (C) and Base Rear Stretcher
(O) at both ends.
12. Align the large holes on the Lower Side Panels (F and G) with the inserted Wood Dowels (3) on the
Bottom Panel (C) and Base Rear Stretcher (O). Firmly press them together and fasten in place by
engaging six Cam Locks (1).

13. Glue eight 30 mm Wood Dowels (3) into the inner holes on the vertical panels (F, G, H, and I). Position
the Center Shelf (B) onto the inserted Wood Dowels (3) and fasten it in place with eight Cam Locks (1).
14. Attach the Top Stretcher (T) to the Top Panel (A) with three 30 mm Wood Dowels (3) and four 32 mm
Screws (14).
