Please note
When carrying a passenger on the back deck of an
Xtracycle, be sure a set of bags or wheelskirts is properly
installed to protect the passenger's feet.

02 installing one magiccarpet
with no child seats

Bring the strap back up towards the MagicCarpet and thread
it up through the D-ring sewn onto the pad. The strap should
now be looping under and around the horizontal support bar
of the RearRack.

Thread the long end of the MagicCarpet fastening strap
down and between the deck and the horizontal support bar.
With your fingers now underneath the horizontal support bar,
grab the strap and pull it back towards you.

Undo the hook and loop straps and slide them out of
the plastic rings so they are long and hanging off of the
MagicCarpet. Place the MagicCarpet on the rear deck.

When placing the MagicCarpet on the RearRack, the end of
the MagicCarpet with the stitched Xtracycle logo is the back
end of the pad.

Gently pull up and then cinch down the strap. When at the
desired tension, press the strap onto itself to secure it in
place. To complete the installation, repeat steps 02 C - 02 G
for all the straps.

03 installing two magiccarpets
or a magiccarpet & child seat

To install a second MagicCarpet or a MagicCarpet on the
rear end only, position the front of the second MagicCarpet
to start where the first MagicCarpet stops or in the center of
the deck.

To attach them to the bracket, simply loop the straps around
the vertical bracket supports.

To attach the hook and loop straps to the horizontal support
bars, follow steps 02 C - 02 G.

If a Hooptie or two SnackBars are installed on the RearRack,
you can install MagicCarpets following these steps.
To install two MagicCarpets or a MagicCarpet on the front of
the deck only, position a MagicCarpet on the deck so that the
back end is on the center of the rear deck. Front half will fold
up and along the inside of the Hooptie or SnackBar bracket.

Care & Maintenance
If the MagicCarpet becomes dirty, it can be gently
scrubbed with a washcloth and soap and water. Hand
wash only and air dry.
