Warranty
The PorterPack is guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects for one (1) year from the original
date of purchase.
Defective products will be repaired or replaced at Xtracycle’s discretion.To determine if a warranty
claim is valid you may be required to return the product to Xtracycle for inspection. Xtracycle is not
responsible for removal, installation or shipping costs. This warranty applies only to the original buyer
and is not transferable.
This warranty does not cover damage from use of this product outside of its intended range or that
resulting from modification or neglect. It also does not cover wear and tear resulting from the normal
use of the product.
Care and Handling
Take your cargo carrying to the new FRONTier!
For EdgeRunners with PorterRacks installed.
After each trip be sure to clean out
your pack thoroughly.
Do not wash in washing machine.
Use mild soap, warm water and a soft brush to
clean fabric and zippers.
Hang dry outdoors or in a well-ventilated area
out of direct sunlight.

Step 1: The PorterPack comes
with two side-stiffening sheets
made out of grey plastic.
The stiffening sheets slip into
pockets on the inside
of the bag, one per side. The
square end slides in first, plastic
side out towards the outside
of the bag, with the pointed
corner at the top. Make sure
they slide all the way forward,
so that the rear edge tucks into
the seam at the back of the
bag. This will keep them from
slipping out.
Step 2: The PorterPack
attaches to the PorterRack
using a velcro strap on the
underside of the PorterPack
and 2 clips located on the back
of the PorterPack (concealed
under a pair of velcro flaps).
Before installing the PorterPack
to the PorterRack, flip up the
flaps on the back side to reveal
the clips.
Step 3: Slide the clips over the
crossbars of the PorterRack,
then flip the flaps back over
them.
Step 4: Fasten the velcro
strap around the center of the
PorterRack.
Step 4: Load up and ride!

WARNING
Read before first ride!
The maximum load weight for the PorterPack is 17 pounds (7.7 kg).
Follow the installation instructions to make sure it is installed properly.
Ride with common sense. Your bike will handle better and be safer if
you put heavy things at the bottom of the bag and zip the bag closed.
Don’t let any straps or cords dangle, as they could get caught in your
spokes.
Only carry loads below the height of your handlebars. Brake and
derailleur cables impeded by tall loads can dangerously alter bike
handling and steering.
No carrying of live cargo.
