LaserLightViewing:Thescanwindowistheonlyaperturethroughwhichlaserlightmay
beobservedfromthisproduct.Afailureofthescannerengine,whilethelaserdiode
continuestoemitalaserbeam,maycauseemissionlevelstoexceedthoseforsafe
operation.Thescannerhassafeguardstopreventthisoccurrence.If,however,a
stationarylaserbeamisemitted,thefailingscannershouldbedisconnectedfromits
powersourceimmediately.
Adjustments:Donotattemptanyadjustmentsoralterationofthisproduct.Donot
removetheprotectivehousingofthescanner.Therearenouser‐serviceablepartsinside.

Introduction
ThisscannerisaguntyperuggedBluetoothbarcodeCCD/Laserscannerwithastateof
theartscanengine.Featuringasuperbscanningspeedandabletowithstand1.5
meterdrop,itisidealformanufacturingandlogisticsectors.
Thecradle,adongle,ordeviceswithBluetoothtechnologycanbethehostofthis
scanner.Allscanneddataareinstantlytransferredtotheconnectedhostina100‐
meterconnectionrangeinopenspaceor75‐meterrangeinindoorenvironments(the
actualcommunicationrangemayvaryduetodifferentindoorplacement).Thisfeature
eliminateshazardouscablesandcreatesasaferworkenvironment.
Eitherscanninginthehandheldorhands‐freemode,thisscanneralwaysoffersahigh‐
accuracyandreliablescanningability.Thisscannerwouldbeyourtrustedtool

Pleasefollowthestepsbelowtoinstallthebatteries.
Alwaysusetherechargeablebatteriesprovidedbythemanufacturerto

Unscrewthecapfromthebatterycompartmentatthebottomofthescannerandinsert
thebattery.

Thiscradleisdesignedforbatterychargingonly;itdoesnotsupportradio
communication.Simplyconnectthepoweradapterintoitandplacescanneronthe
cradletostartcharging.
CradleHost
ThecradlehostfeaturesBluetoothwirelesstechnologyandisdesignedtosupportradio
communicationtothescanner.Ithasthesamechargingfunctionalityasthecharging
cradlesoitcanbeusedforbatterychargingandradiocommunication.
1. TakethedesirableinterfacecableandinserttheRJ‐45connectoronthebottomof
thecradle.Youwillhearaclearandshort“click”sound;thenconnecttheother
endtothehost.
2. ConnecttheincludedUSBcableofminiUSBportinthebottomofthecradleand
connectotherendtoUSBpoweradaptor.
3. ConnecttheUSBpoweradaptorintoACoutlet.TheLEDindicatoronthecradle
shouldflashblueuntilitmadeconnectionwiththescanner.
WhenusingKeyboardwedgeandUSBinterfaceforcradle
communication,itisnotnecessarytohaveanexternalpoweradapterif
hosthassufficientpower.Buttheseinterfacesneedexternalpower
adapterwhenchargingbatteries.
TheminiUSBportonthebottomofthecradleshouldonlybeconnected
usingtheUSBpoweradaptor.IfconnecttoPChostwilldrainhostpower,
andmaybeeffectyourPChostwork.
