1 Performance Features of the Product
1.1 Movement features
The product adopts a non-constant speed operating mechanism to make the gate bar start slowly, run quickly,
and stop slowly and to eliminate the shaking brought by start and stop of the gate bar. This extends the
service life of the product.
The product adopts a high-load mounted bearing, which makes the movement part more steady.
The mechanical limit is adjustable, which makes installation and commissioning more convenient and quicker.
The product adopts a high-sensitivity limit switch, which controls accurate rise and fall of the gate bar
momentarily.
The integrated turbine worm drive and deceleration asynchronous motor features smooth transmission, low
noise, and compact structure.
The motor is designed with an intelligent overheating protection system. When the product is frequently used,
the protection system controls temperature rise of the motor, which makes the motor less likely to be burned.
The manual gate opening mechanism enables the hand wheel of the motor to automatically lift and lower
the gate bar in the case of power failure.
1.2 Control System
The product adopts a digital chip technology and integrates the anti-smash, ground sensing, and IC interfaces,
thereby providing high stability and zero misoperation probability. The product is specially designed with a
delay protection function, which provides a dual control effect.
The product adopts rise and fall timeout and motor overheating protection to prevent the gate from being
damaged.
The product adopts an imported high-power relay to ensure that the barrier gate is operating reliably.

The product adopts a unique arc-extinguishing circuit to guarantee the service life of the control panel.
The product adopts an imported transformer with a magnetic core, which enables the product to work stably
in an outdoor wet environment.
1.3 Safety Features
Rebound upon resistance (pressure wave anti-smash): If the gate bar encounters blocking from external force,
the gate bar is automatically lifted to avoid damage caused by mistake.
Ground sense anti-smash: During fall of the gate bar, if a ground sense signal is received, the gate bar is
automatically lifted and does not fall during the trigger period. After the ground sense signal recovers, the
gate bar automatically falls to ensure safety.
Opening prioritized anti-smash: In the case of any emergency during fall of the gate bar, the gate bar executes
the gate opening operation so long as a gate opening signal is received no matter what the operating status
is.
Rubber strip anti-smash: The gate bar is equipped with a rubber strip, which can mitigate the loss caused by
accidents.

2.3 Working Principle
The mechanical power produced by the motor drives the output shaft through the turbine and worm reducer and
transfers motion to the handle of the bar through a plane four-bar mechanism. Through a magnet induction switch,
the locations of the gate bar in the horizontal and vertical states during operation are accurately determined to
realize control over the gate bar.

2.3.2 Description of Spring Pull Holes
A balanced tension spring is installed inside the chassis, which is used to balance the weight of the gate bar. During
commissioning and installation, according to the length (6 m, 5 m, or 4 m) of the gate bar, the arm of force
between spring pull holes and the main shaft and the spring tension can be changed to make the gate bar achieve
balance without the need to replace the spring. When the length of the gate bar is changed, adjust the pull hole of
the spring again, as shown in the figure.
Pull holes of the spring, as shown in the figure below:

3 Installation and Commissioning
3.1 Installation Instructions
Open the packing box and count spare parts delivered with the product based on the accessory list.
Determine the installation position of the barrier gate according to the left and right directions of the gate
and actual conditions of the installation site. If the foundation is not concrete foundation or the barrier gate is
installed on a slope, you are advised to lay a concrete foundation and ensure that the foundation is firmly
combined with the base and the perpendicularity between the body of the barrier gate and the horizontal
plane is lower th an 1.
According to the location of the control room or watch house and relevant regulations in GB232
Code for
Construction and Acceptance of Electric Equipment Installation Engineering
, deploy the power cable and
control cable (it is recommended that the power cable and control cable are deployed in different cable
pipes).
Install expansion screws (depending on actual accessories in the list) in the position for installing the barrier
gate and firmly fix the barrier gate before using it.
Roll the gate bar to the horizontal position by using the handle, determine the position for installing the fork
bar at the tail of the gate bar, and fix the fork bar using screws (this operation is not required if no fork bar is
provided).
According to the wiring diagram, connect the power cable and related control cables to the control panel of
the barrier gate, fasten the cables, and perform commissioning.
Note: The preceding operations are performed under the power-off condition.
3.2 Specific Operation
(1) Embedding Cables
According to customer requirements, determine the position of the chassis. If the foundation needs to be
concreted, complete concreting in advance (the dimensions of the foundation must be 100 to 150 mm larger than
the dimensions of the barrier gate). Embed cables or dig a cable trench to bury cable pipes between the central
point of the chassis position and the control room or watch house, guide the 3x1.5 mm2 power cable and 4x0.5

CMP-100A User Manual 9
mm2 control cables used for the product through the pipes (when wireless station control is provided, the cables
do not need to be embedded), and backfill concrete.
(2) Fixing the Chassis
Place the chassis in a fixed position, open the door of the chassis, and mark the center of the screw hole on the
baseplate of the chassis and the edge of the base of the chassis. Move the barrier gate away and drill holes
vertically on the marked screw holes (the size of the drill bit must match the expansion bolts delivered with the
product). The hole depth must meet the length of the expansion screws. Move the chassis to the original position,
install and fasten the expansion screws.
(3) Installing the Gate Bar
After the chassis of the barrier gate is fastened, install the gate bar in the position of the bar handle, fasten the gate
bar using the screws delivered with the product, and determine that the gate bar does not tilt. To install the fork bar,
after debugging the horizontal and vertical states, roll the gate bar to the horizontal position by hand, determine
the position for installing the fork bar at the tail of the gate bar, and fix the fork bar using screws (this operation is
not required if no fork bar is provided).
(4) Installing Peripheral Equipment
After the barrier gate is firmly installed, connect cables for the chassis and connect control cables for related
peripheral equipment by following the wiring diagram of the control panel of the barrier gate and perform related
commissioning.
