Poweroffyourphonebeforeremovingorreplacingthe
battery.

1. Insertyourfingernailintotheslotatthebottomleftof
thebackcoverandliftitupgently.
2. Insertthenano‐SIMcardintotherightcardslot,and
insertthemicroSDXCcard(optional)intotheleftcard
slot.

3. Insertthebattery,makingsuretheconnectorsalign.
4. Replacethebackcover.
ChargingthePhone
Yourphone’sbatteryshouldhaveenoughpowerforthe
phonetoturnon,findasignal,andmakeafewcalls.You
shouldfullychargethebatteryassoonaspossible.

UseonlyZTE‐approvedchargersandUSBcables.Theuseof
unapprovedaccessoriescoulddamageyourphoneorcause
thebatterytoexplode.
1. Connecttheadaptertothechargingjack.Ensurethat
theadapterisinsertedinthecorrectdirection.
2. ConnectthechargertoastandardACpoweroutlet.

3. Disconnectthechargerwhenthebatteryisfully
charged.
NOTE:
Ifthebatteryisextremelylow,youmaybeunabletopower
onthephoneevenwhenitisbeingcharged.Inthiscase,try
againafterchargingthephoneforatleast20minutes.
Contactthecustomerserviceifyoustillcannotpoweronthe
phoneafterprolongedcharging.
PoweringOn/OffYourPhone
Makesurethebatteryischargedbeforepoweringon.
PressandholdthePowerkeytoturnonyourphone.
Topoweroff,pressandholdthePowerkeytoopenthe
optionsmenu,andtouch>.
NOTE:
Ifthescreenfreezesortakestoolongtorespond,reinstall
thebatteryandpoweronagain.
WakingUpYourPhone
Yourphoneautomaticallygoesintosleepmodewhenitis
notinuseforsometime.Thedisplayisturnedofftosave
powerandthekeysarelockedtopreventaccidental
operations.
Youcanwakeupyourphonebyturningonthedisplayand
unlockingthekeys.
1. PressthePowerkeytoturnthescreenon.
2. Swipeuponthescreen.
NOTE:
Ifyouhavesetanunlockpattern,aPINorapasswordfor
yourphone,you’llneedtodrawthepattern,orenterthe
PIN/passwordtounlockyourscreen.

highestcertifiedpowerlevelinalltestedfrequencybands,

againsttheheadwithnoseparation,andnearthebody‐Worn
withtheseparationof15mm.AlthoughtheSARis
determinedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,theactual
SARlevelofthedevicewhileoperatingcanbewellbelowthe
maximumvalue.Thisisbecausethephoneisdesignedto
operateatmultiplepowerlevelssoastouseonlythepower
requiredtoreachthenetwork.Ingeneral,thecloseryouare
toawirelessbasestationantenna,thelowerthepower
output.
Theexposurestandardforwirelessdevicesemployingaunit
ofmeasurementisknownastheSpecificAbsorptionRate,or
SAR.TheSARlimitsetbytheFCCis1.6W/kg.
ThisdeviceiscompliedwithSARforgeneral
population/uncontrolledexposurelimitsinANSI/IEEE
C95.1‐1992andhadbeentestedinaccordancewiththe
measurementmethodsandproceduresspecifiedin
IEEE1528.

WhiletheremaybedifferencesbetweentheSARlevelsof
variousphonesandatvariouspositions,theyallmeetthe
governmentrequirements.
SARcomplianceforbody‐wornoperationisbasedona
separationdistanceof15mmbetweentheunitandthe
humanbody.Carrythisdeviceatleast10mmawayfromyour
bodytoensureRFexposurelevelcompliantorlowertothe
reportedlevel.Tosupportbody‐wornoperation,choosethe
beltclipsorholsters,whichdonotcontainmetallic
components,tomaintainaseparationof15mmbetweenthis
deviceandyourbody.
RFexposurecompliancewithanybody‐wornaccessory,
whichcontainsmetal,wasnottestedandcertified,andusing
suchbody‐wornaccessoryshouldbeavoided.
FCCRegulations
Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCCRules.Operation
issubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:(1)Thisdevicemay
notcauseharmfulinterference,and(2)thisdevicemust
acceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethat
maycauseundesiredoperation.
Thisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywith
thelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttopart15of
theFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovide
reasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceina
residentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,usesand
canradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledand

usedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmful
interferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisno
guaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurinaparticular
installation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmful
interferenceto139radioortelevisionreception,whichcanbe
determinedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,theuseris
encouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormore
ofthefollowingmeasures:
Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.
Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferent
fromthattowhichthereceiverisconnected.
Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianfor
help.

Changesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythe
