Knowing your phone
Key instruction
Key Function Description
Call key •Make or answer a call.
•Press Call key in standby mode to view All Calls list.
•Press Call key twice directly to redial the last number.
End key •End an active call or reject a call.
•Press and hold to power on/power off.
•Exit from any interface to standby mode.
Left soft key •Enter main Menu in standby mode.
•Switch to the options of left bottom submenu.
Right soft key •Enter All lists in Contacts in standby mode.
•Switch to the options of right bottom submenu.
•Erase character(s) while editing.
•Cancel operation, exit to previous pop-up window.
OK key •Enter Freedom menu in standby mode.
•Confirm the commands and options selected.
•Confirm the character chosen while character inputting.
Navigation keys •Move the cursor up, down, left and right.

Key Function Description
•In standby mode, Used as hot keys to enter the designated functions.
•In Contacts list, press the Left key or Right key to switch groups.
•Press the Left key or Right key to adjust volume in conversation.
0 ~ 9 Number keys •Key in numbers or characters.
•Make a Speed Dial call.
•Press and hold 0 key to input + in standby mode.
* key •Press and hold * key in standby mode to lock phone’s keypad.
•Press * key once to enter Symbols mode in text input mode.
# key •Press and hold # key in standby mode to enable/disable vibration.
•Press # key to select text mode when edit text.

Installing UIM card and battery
1. Remove the battery cover.
Notes:
The correct way to remove the battery cover varies with the model of the phone. Refer to the following
diagrams.
2. Insert UIM card into UIM card slot in the phone.
3. Place the battery into the battery slot, to be noted that the lower end of the battery firstly inserted.
Notes:
For the first three times, use up the power and charge it fully for a new battery to perform well.
4. Replace the battery cover.

Charging the battery
1. Plug out rubber away from the jack on the bottom of the phone and connect the lead from the charger to
the socket on the bottom of the phone.
Notes:
The side with arrow should be upright while connecting.
2. Connect the charger to a standard wall AC socket.
3. When the charging animation on the screen stops, the charging is completed. The charging takes
usually up to 2～3 hours. During charging, it is a normal phenomenon that the battery, phone and
charger may get hot.
4. After the completion of charging, disconnect the charger from the phone and AC socket.

Switching On/Off
Make sure that your UIM card is in your phone and that the battery is charged.
1.Press and hold End key to power on/off the phone.
2.The phone will automatically search for the network.

Keypad Lock
Press and hold the * key to lock the keypad in standby mode. If you activate Auto Keypad Lock, the
keypad will be locked automatically according to your settings.
If you want to unlock the keypad, please press first the Right soft key, and then the * key.
Notes:
If the call is coming when the keypad is locked, you can press the Call key to answer.
When the keypad is locked, calls may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into
your device.
Phone Code
Phone code could prevent your phone from illegal use. The default phone code is 0000. Please change it
to your own as soon as possible.
Notes:
Please remember the code; otherwise some service expense may happen.
PIN and PUK
PIN Code
PIN code could prevent your UIM card from illegal use. When PIN lock is on, you should enter the PIN
code when powering on the handset again. The network provider offers you PIN code (four to eight digits).
You should change PIN code as soon as possible for security.
PUK Code
Consecutive inputting wrong PIN code for three times can cause locking of UIM card. To unlock, you
need PUK code.
Notes:
PIN code and PUK code may be offered together with the UIM card. If not, please contact your network
service provider. Please change default PIN code to your own as soon as possible.

Text input
Your phone offers text input modes: abc, Abc, ABC, 123, and eZi.
Operation Method
Input letters In abc/Abc/ABC mode, press corresponding letter key till the letter appears.
Input words In eZi mode, press any key once to key in any word. Predictive text input is
based on a built-in dictionary. When you have finished writing the word and it
is correct, confirm it by pressing OK key. If the word is incorrect, press the Up
key or Down key to view other matching words found in the dictionary.
Input digits In 123 mode, press Number key once. In eZi mode, press the digit key, and
select the number by pressing Navigation keys.
Input symbol Press * key to enter the symbols mode and press corresponding digit key. Or
press 1 key till the symbol (common symbols) appears except for 123 mode.
Input space Press 0 key, except for 123 mode.
Erase character Press Right soft key.
Move cursor Press Navigation keys.
Change input mode Press # key to select another text mode.
