Basic description
2N Lift8
®( ) is a communication system with a function similar to an intercom. TheL8
individual announcers are linked to a common bus (pair of wires), connected to a
splitter. The splitter is always connected to a central unit (CU) which controls the
activity of the system and provides connection with the control centre. It is possible to
connect up to 40 announcers to the bus.
Each splitter has unambiguous identification: lift number 1 to 8. For each lift we have
announcers connected to the splitter – located: bottom of shaft, bottom of cabin, cabin
roof of cabin and machine room. The announcer to the machine room can be
configured as common for several lifts.
The CU contains an easily replaced backup rechargeable battery (lead rechargeable
battery). ensures the charging of this battery and monitoring of its state. The CU The
uses five coloured lamps for indication: power state, signal strength, telephone lineCU
state, state of bus and state of core. It also has a USB interface which serves for the
comfortable configuration of parameters, for the recording of announcements and
program upgrade.
The CU can be connected via: GSM, UMTS, or PSTN.
