• DO NOT use outdoors or on wet surfaces
• DO NOT allow to be used as a toy; Keep out of reach from children; close attention is necessary if operated near children
• DO NOT use with damaged cord or plug. If unit is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or
dropped into water, DO NOT use, and return it to a service center
• DO NOT pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners.
Keep cord away from heated surfaces
• DO NOT unit to sit on cord
• DO NOT unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord
• DO NOT handle plug or unit with wet hands
• DO NOT allow foreign objects to enter the ventilation or exhaust openings
• Turn off all controls before unplugging
• To avoid electric shock and fire hazards, plug directly into an appropriate electrical outlet (see voltage on unit); Never use
with an extension cord or power strip

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Place the unit in the center of the area to be treated for best results. Plug the cord into a working electrical outlet and rotate
the knob to the right to operate the unit. Please see owner's manual for detailed instructions on using, handling, storing and
disposing of the device, and procedures to mitigate any associated risks.
The use of this device is a supplement to and not a substitute for standard infection control practices; users must continue to
follow all current infection control practices, including those related to the cleaning and disinfection of environmental surfaces.

It is important to be familiar with the parts of the ActivePure® Guardian Pro. If any parts are missing, contact your sales
representative or ActivePure Customer Service.
The ActivePure Guardian Pro is only to be serviced by an authorized technician. This is a device intended for the reduction of
viruses, bacteria, and other contaminants in large indoor spaces.
1. Take your ActivePure Guardian Pro unit out of the shipping carton and remove all
protective materials.
2. Place the unit in the center of the area to be treated for best results.
3. Plug the cord into a working electrical outlet and rotate the knob to the right to operate the unit.
4. Rotate knob to the high position first to power on the unit. Once the fan is moving at full speed,
turn the knob to the desired speed.
5. When finished, rotate knob to the o position and unplug the unit.
NOTE: Periodic vacuuming of the filter screen may be required.

WARRANTY INFORMATION
Limited Three (3) Year Warranty
To register your ActivePure® Guardian Pro unit, visit www.activepure.com/warranty.
Customer should not repackage and ship the ActivePure
Guardian Pro unit due to possibility of irreparable damage.
WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY
We warrant the ActivePure Guardian Pro to the consumer,
subject to the conditions below, against defects in
workmanship or material, provided that the products are
returned to a service location within the following time
periods:
• ActivePure Guardian Pro within three (3) years from date
of purchase
• ActivePure Cell within one (1) year from date of purchase
INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
Failure to use and maintain your ActivePure Guardian Pro in
accordance with your Owner’s Manual will void this warranty.
Servicing the ActivePure Guardian Pro by parties other than
our authorized representatives and/or using parts other than
genuine ActivePure parts will also void this warranty.
• Replacing the ActivePure Cell every one (1) year with
a genuine ActivePure part (proof of change may be
required)
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE
Customers must contact their sales representative or
ActivePure Customer Service and provide proof of purchase
within the above time periods. We will repair or replace and
return the product, without charge and within a reasonable
period of time, subject to the conditions in the above
paragraphs, if its examination shall disclose any part to be
defective in workmanship or material. If we, in our discretion,
are unable to repair the product aer a reasonable number
of aempts, we will provide either a refund of the purchase
price or a replacement unit, at the company’s option.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY
This product is intended for household and commercial use.
Ordinary wear and tear shall not be considered a defect in
workmanship or material. These warranties do not apply
for loss or damage caused by accident, fire, abuse, misuse,
modification, or misapplication.
EXCLUSION OF OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, AND TO THE EXTENT
CONSISTENT WITH APPLICABLE LAWS, ACTIVEPURE
MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF
ANY KIND. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY
DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE.
UNAUTHORIZED CHANNELS  MISSING SERIAL
NUMBERS
If a valid serial number is missing from the product, the
warranty will be voided. Warranties are voided if a product
is purchased through unauthorized channels, this includes
websites that are not authorized to sell our products OR to
use ActivePure trademarked names, images and logos as
well as Internet auction sites (e.g. ebay and Craigslist). The
only approved Internet presence for ActivePure products
is www.activepure.com or www.activepuremedical.com. To
confirm warranty coverage prior to purchasing a product,
contact ActivePure Customer Service at 800.572.1446 with
the serial number located on the back of the unit.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
TO THE EXTENT CONSISTENT WITH APPLICABLE LAWS,
ACTIVEPURE SHALL NOT IN ANY CASE BE LIABLE
FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES ARISING FROM BREACH OF EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, GUARANTEES
OR REPRESENTATIONS, BREACH OF CONTRACT,
NEGLIGENCE OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. Such
excluded damages include, but are not limited to, loss of
profits or revenue and loss of the use of the products.

instructions détaillées sur l’utilisation, la manipulation, le stockage et la mise au rebut de l’appareil, ainsi que les procédures

Il est important de se familiariser avec les pièces de l’appareil ActivePure®Guardian Pro. Si des pièces sont manquantes,
contactez votre représentant commercial ou le service à la clientèle ActivePure.
L’ActivePure Guardian Pro peut uniquement être réparé par un technicien autorisé. Cet appareil est conçu pour réduire les
virus, bactéries et autres impuretés dans de grands espaces fermés.
1. Sorter l’appareil ActivePure®Guardian Pro de son emballage de transport et retirer toutes les
protections.
2. Placer l’appareil au milieu de la zone à traiter pour de meilleurs résultats.
3. Brancher le cordon dans une prise électrique fonctionnelle et tourner l’interrupteur vers la droite
pour mere l’appareil en marche.
4. Tourner l’interrupteur sur la position élevée en premier pour faire fonctionner l’appareil. Une fois
que le ventilateur fonctionne à pleine vitesse, tourner l’interrupteur sur la vitesse désirée.
5. Une fois terminé, tourner l’interrupteur sur la position « éteinte » et débrancher l’appareil .
REMARQUE: Il peut être nécessaire d’aspirer la grille du filtre de façon périodique.

Nous garantissons l’appareil ActivePure®Guardian Pro au client,
selon les conditions ci-dessous, contre toute défectuosité de
fabrication ou de matériaux, à condition que les produits soient
retournés dans un centre de services dans les délais indiqués:
• ActivePure®Guardian Pro dans les trois (3) ans suivant
la date d’achat
• Cellule ActivePure dans l’année (1 an) suivant
la date d’achat
CONDITIONS D’INSTALLATION ET D’ENTRETIEN
L’utilisation et l’entretien de l’ActivePure Guardian Pro autrement
que ce qui est indiqué dans le manuel d’utilisation annuleront
cee garantie. L’entretien de votre appareil ActivePure Guardian
Pro par des parties autres que nos représentants autorisés et/ou
l’utilisation de pièces autres que les pièces d’origine annuleront
aussi cee garantie.
• Remplacement de la cellule ActivePure chaque année par une
pièce d’origine ActivePure (une preuve du changement pourrait
être exigée)
COMMENT OBTENIR LE SERVICE DE GARANTIE
Le client doit contacter son représentant commercial ou le service
à la clientèle d’ActivePure et fournir une preuve d’achat dans le
délai indiqué ci-dessus. Nous réparerons ou remplacerons, puis
renverrons le produit sans aucuns frais supplémentaires et dans
un délai raisonnable, sous réserve des conditions énoncées aux
paragraphes ci-dessus, si l’examen révèle un défaut de fabrication
ou de matériau d’une pièce. Si, à notre discrétion, nous ne sommes
pas en mesure de réparer le produit après un nombre raisonnable
de tentatives, nous en rembourserons le prix d’achat ou le
remplacerons, au gré de la compagnie.

Ce produit est conçu pour un usage domestique et commercial.
L’usure normale n’est pas considérée comme un défaut de matériau
