Main Units
The Main units are intended for indoor use only. When deciding where to put the main units,
choose a dry location away from dust, dirt, mold and smoke, and avoid temperature
extremes. Do not drop the main units. They are sensitive electronic devices, and are not
designed to withstand high impact blows.
NOTE:Install batteries in both of the MAIN UNITS before installing batteries in the
wireless sensor.
Placement & Mounting
Choose a location for each unit that is at least 10 feet away from other electronic devices
that may interfere with the wireless signal. When you decide on a good location, (A steady
signal from the sensor is being received by the main unit LCD display), hang the main unit
and wireless sensor using the triangular indents found on the backs of the units.
You may choose to place the main units on a table-top or desktop surface.
Pictured above is a common placement scenario. The main units can be placed
anywhere within 100 feet of the wireless sensor. Placement is not limited to one unit
being placed on a first and second level of a building or house as pictured here.
