Overview
The Adaptec Fibre Card 9110G is a 1 Gigabit
Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter (HBA) pro-
viding convenient and reliable high-perform-
ance connectivity. The 9110G features unparal-
leled interoperability and industry-leading
technical support, in conjunction with Adaptec
tested and supported SAN solutions.
Already a leader in SCSI and RAID interoper-
ability, Adaptec will leverage its 10,000 square
foot compatibility test lab to establish a similar
position in Fibre Channel. With available 24/7
technical support and global coverage, Adaptec
provides the expertise required for configuring
and managing today’s Fibre Channel topolo-
gies. In addition, the 9110G is an integral com-
ponent in complete SAN solutions that are test-
ed, promoted, and supported by Adaptec.
The 9110G provides 1 Gigabit speeds, full
duplex capabilities (2 Gb/sec), PCI host inter-
face of 66 MHz, 64-bit, an internal copper con-
nection, and the flexibility of copper or optical
external connections through a Gigabit
Interface Converter (GBIC).
