technischem Standard und von bewährter Qualität erworben.
Bitte lesen Sie diese Betriebsanleitung vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig durch
und bewahren sie dann gut auf, damit Ihnen diese Informationen bei Bedarf immer
wieder zur Verfügung stehen.
1. Inbetriebnahme
Einlegen der Batterie:
Öffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel an der Unterseite der Waage und legen die mit-
gelieferten Batterien (2 x 1,5V AAA) ein. Bitte achten Sie auf die richtige Polung der
Batterien (+/-).
Sicherheitshinweise:
Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass keine Gegenstände auf die Waagen
fallen, da ansonsten die Waage Schaden nehmen könnte.
Reinigen Sie die Waage nur mit einem feuchten Tuch. Verwenden
Sie keine Lösungs- oder Scheuermittel. Nicht unter Wasser
tauchen. Alle Kunststoffteile der Waage sollten direkt nach dem
Kontakt mit Fett, Gewürzen, Essig und anderen stark gewürzten
und eingefärbten Lebensmitteln gereinigt werden. Vermeiden Sie
den Kontakt mit Zitronensäure.
2. Bedienung
Einschalten der Waage :
Stellen Sie die Waage auf einen festen, ebenen Untergrund und drücken die /ZERO-
Taste unterhalb des Displays. Nach dem Einschalten erscheinen im Display zuerst alle
Symbole und nachdem sich die Waage stabilisiert hat (Anzeige: Stabilitäts-Symbol )
erscheint, je nach Einstellung, die Anzeige:
0 g (Gramm) / 0: 00 lb:oz (pound ounce)
0 ml (Milliliter Milch) / 0.0 fl´oz (fluid ounce milk)
0 ml (Milliliter Wasser) / 0.0 fl´oz (fluid ounce water)
Die Waage ist nun zum Wiegen bereit.
Hinweis: Wird nach dem Einschalten ein Gewicht angezeigt, drücken Sie die /ZERO-
Taste, um die Waage auf Null zu setzen.
Gewichtseinhe iten:
Durch Drücken der MODE-Taste, unterhalb des Displays, können Sie die Gewichtsein-
heit in folgender Reihenfolge ändern: Gramm / pound ounce / Milliliter Milch / fluid ounce
milk / Milliliter Wasser / fluid ounce water. Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste so oft, bis die für
Sie maßgebliche Gewichtseinheit auf dem Display erscheint. Achten Sie bitte darauf, dass
die Waage bei Gebrauch immer auf die für Sie maßgebliche Gewichtseinheit eingestellt ist.
Zuwiege-(Tara-)Fun ktion:
Durch Drücken der /ZERO-Taste können Sie die Waage auf „0 g“ setzen (Anzeige:
Tara-Symbol ). Stellen Sie z.B. eine Schüssel auf die Wiegeplattform, drücken die
/ZERO-Taste und setzen somit die Waage wieder auf „0 g“. Dieser Vorgang lässt sich
bis zum Erreichen der Gesamtkapazität der Waage (5 kg) beliebig oft wiederholen. Nach
dem Abnehmen des Wiegeguts wird das Gesamtgewicht als Minuswert (Anzeige: Minus-
Symbol ) angezeigt.
Automatische s Abschalten der Waage:
Wenn sich das angezeigte Gewicht innerhalb von ca. zwei Minuten nicht verändert,
schaltet sich die Waage automatisch aus.
3. Fehlermeldungen
„Lo“ = Anzeige Batterie leer - Bitte ersetzen Sie die Batterien mit dem
für Ihre Waage vorgesehenen Batterietyp (2 x 1,5V AAA).
„Err“ = Überlastanzeige – Max. Kapazität der Waage von 5 kg wurde
überschritten. Nehmen Sie sofort die Last von der Waage, da
ansonsten die Wägezelle Schaden nehmen könnte.

5. Garantie
WAAGEN-SCHMITT garantiert für 3 Jahre ab Kaufdatum die kostenfreie Behebung von
Mängeln aufgrund Material- oder Fabrikationsfehlern durch Reparatur oder Austausch. Im
Garantiefall bitte die Waage mit Rechnungsbeleg, unter Angabe des Reklamations-
grundes, an Ihren Händler zurückgeben.
Hinweis: Unter extremen elektromagnetischen Einflüssen z.B. bei Betreiben eines
Funkgerätes in unmittelbarer Nähe der Waage kann eine Beeinflussung des
Anzeigewertes verursacht werden. Nach Ende des Störeinflusses ist das Produkt wieder
bestimmungsgemäß benutzbar, ggfls. ist ein Wiedereinschalten erforderlich.

Thank you for deciding to purchase this high-quality product from the WAAGEN-
SCHMITT Company. You have purchased a set of scales of the highest technical
standard and proven quality. Please read through this operating manual carefully before
starting-up the scales for the first time, and keep it in a safe place so that this information
is available to you when you need it.
1. Start-up
Inserting the battery:
Open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the scales and insert the
provided batteries (2 x 1.5V AAA). Please be mindful of the correct polarity of the
batteries (+/-).
Safety information:
Please take care not to let any objects fall onto the scales,
otherwise the scales could be damaged.
Only clean the scales with a damp cloth. Do not use any solvents
or abrasive cleaning products. Do not immerse in water. All plastic
parts of the scales should be cleaned immediately after contact
with fat, spices, vinegar and other strongly seasoned and coloured
foodstuffs. Avoid contact with citric acid.
2. Operation
Activating the sca les:
Place the scales on a firm, even surface and press the /ZERO button underneath the
display. After activating the scales, all of the symbols will initially appear on the display;
once the scales have stabilised (Indicator: symbol), depending on the settings, the
following indicator appears:
0 g (grams) / 0: 00 lb:oz (pounds ounces)
0 ml (millilitres milk) / 0.0 fl'oz (fluid ounces milk)
0 ml (millilitres water) / 0.0 fl'oz (fluid ounces water)
The scales are now ready for weighing.
Please note: If a weight-value is shown after activation, press the /ZERO button, to
set the scales to zero.
Units of weight:
By pressing the MODE button underneath the display, you can change the weight-unit in
the following order: grams/pounds ounces/millilitres milk/fluid ounces milk/millilitres
water/fluid ounces water. Press the MODE button as many times as necessary until the
relevant weight-unit appears on the display. When using the scales, please ensure that
they are set to the weight-unit that is relevant to you.
Zeroing (tare) func tion:
By pressing the /ZERO button, you can set the scales to “0 g” (Indicator: Tare Symbol
). For example, place a bowl on the weighing platform, press the /ZERO button and
thus set the scales to “0 g” again. This process can be repeated as often as you like until
the total capacity of the scales (5 kg) is reached. After removing the weighed item the total
weight will be displayed as a negative value (Indicator: Minus symbol ).
Automatic deactivation of scales:
If the displayed weight does not change within approx. two minutes, the scales
automatically deactivate.

5. Warranty
WAAGEN-SCHMITT agrees to rectify any material or manufacturing defects by offering
free repair or replacement, for a period of 3 years from the purchase date. In case of a
warranty claim, please return the scales to your dealer, including proof of purchase and
stating the reason for the claim.
Please note: Under extreme electromagnetic influences e.g. when operating a radio
device in immediate proximity to the scales, the indicator value may be affected. After the
disturbing influence has stopped, the product may once again be used as intended,
although a re-activation may be necessary.

1. Inicio
Introduzca las baterías:
Abra la tapa del compartimento de las baterías en la parte inferior de la báscula e
introduzca las pilas suministradas (2 x 1,5 V AAA). Tenga en cuenta la polaridad correcta
de las baterías (+/-).
Información de seguridad:
Tenga cuidado de no dejar que ningún objeto caiga sobre la báscula,
ya que se podría averiar.
Limpie la báscula solamente con un paño húmedo. No utilice
disolventes o productos de limpieza abrasivos. No la sumerja en
agua. Debe limpiar inmediatamente todas las piezas de plástico de la
báscula si entran en contacto con grasa, especias, vinagre y otros
alimentos con mucho condimento o color. Evite el contacto con el
ácido cítrico.
2. Funcionamiento
Activación de la báscu la:
Coloque la báscula sobre una superficie lisa y firme y pulse el botón /ZERO debajo de
la pantalla, primero aparecerán todos los símbolos y después de que la báscula se haya
estabilizado (visualización: símbolo ) se verá, según la configuración, el mensaje:
0 g (gramo ) / 0: 00 lb:oz (libra:onza)
0 ml (mililitros de leche) / 0.0 fl'oz (onzas líquidas de leche)
0 ml (mililitros de agua) / 0.0 fl'oz (onzas líquidas de agua)
La báscula está lista para su funcionamiento.
Observaciones: Si tras encender la báscula, esta muestra un peso, pulse el botón
/ZERO para calibrarla a 0.
Unidades de peso:
Puede ajustar la unidad de masa pulsando el botón MODE en el siguiente orden
gramo/libra onza/mililitro de leche/onza líquida de leche/mililitro de agua/onza líquida de
agua. Pulse el botón MODE hasta que aparezca la unidad de masa deseada en la
pantalla. Asegúrese de que la báscula muestra los resultados en la unidad de masa que
usted prefiera.
Función de añadido de peso (tara):
Puede calibrar la báscula a “0 g” tocando el botón /ZERO (visualización: Símbolo tara
). Coloque p. ej. una llave en la plataforma de pesaje y toque el botón /ZERO para
ajustar la báscula a “0 g” de nuevo. Esto se puede repetir tantas veces como se desee

5. Garantía

radio cerca de la báscula, el valor del indicador puede verse afectado. Una vez que se ha
detenido la influencia que alteraba, el producto se puede utilizar otra vez para lo que ha
sido diseñado, aunque es posible que necesite activarlo de nuevo.

1. Mise en marche
Insertion des piles :
Enlevez le couvercle du compartiment à piles à l'arrière de la balance et insérez les piles
fournies (2 x 1,5 V AAA). Veuillez prendre garde à respecter la polarité des piles (+/-).
Consignes de sécu rité :
Veuillez

vous assurer de ne laisser tomber aucun objet sur la
balance, car elle pourrait s’en trouver endommagée.
Nettoyez la balance uniquement avec un chiffon humid
e. N’utilisez
pas de solvants ou de produits de nettoyage abrasifs. Ne la
plongez pas dans l'eau. Toutes les pièces en plastique des
balances devraient être nettoyées immédiatement après avoir été
en contact avec graisses, épices, vinaigre et autres produits
alimentaires fortement assaisonnés et colorés. Éviter tout contact
avec de l'acide citrique.
2. Commande
Activation de la balance :
Placez la balance sur une surface ferme et régulière et appuyez sur la touche /ZERO
située au bas de l’écran ; après la mise en marche, tous les symboles apparaissent à
l’écran dans un premier temps, puis lorsque la balance s’est stabilisée (écran : Symbole
) l’écran affiche, en fonction du réglage, ce qui suit :
0 g (grammes) / 0 : 00 lb : oz (livre once)
0 ml (millilitre lait) / 0.0 fl'oz (fluide once lait)
0 ml (millilitre eau) / 0.0 fl'oz (fluide once eau)
La balance est maintenant prête pour les pesées.
Conseil : Si un poids est affiché après le mise en marche, appuyez sur la touche
/ZERO pour remettre à zéro la balance.
Unités de poids :
La touche MODE sous l’écran permet de classer les unités de mesure dans l’ordre
suivant : gramme/livre once/millilitre lait/fluide once lait/millilitre au/fluide once eau.
Appuyez continuellement sur la touche MODE jusqu’à ce que l’unité de mesure, qui vous
est familière, apparaisse à l‘écran. Veillez à ce que la balance soit toujours utilisée à l’unité
de mesure qui vous est familière.
Fonction de remise à zéro (tare) :
La touche /ZERO permet de remettre la balance à « 0 g » (écran : symbole de la Tare
). Vous pouvez par ex. placer un poids sur la plateforme de pesée, appuyer sur la
touche /ZERO et remettre ainsi la balance à « 0 g ». Cette opération peut être réitérée à
souhait jusqu’à ce que la capacité totale de la balance (5 kg) soit atteinte. Après le retrait
du poids, le poids total est affiché sous forme de valeur négative (écran : Symbole
moins ).
Arrêt automatique de la balance :
Si le poids affiché ne varie pas dans un délai de deux minutes, la balance s’éteint
automatiquement

5. Garantie

gratuite de tout défaut ou vice de matière ou de fabrication, par réparation ou par
échange. En cas de garantie, veuillez remettre la balance à votre revendeur, avec un
justificatif, en indiquant le motif de réclamation.
Veuillez remarquer :
Lorsque les influences électromagnétiques sont extrêmes, par exemple lorsqu’un
dispositif radio fonctionne à proximité immédiate de la balance, l’affichage de l'indicateur
pourrait en être affecté. Lorsque l'influence perturbatrice s’arrête, le produit pourra de
nouveau être utilisé comme prévu, même si une réactivation peut s’avérer nécessaire.

Questo simbolo sul prodotto o sulla confezione indica che la bilancia
non deve essere trattata come un normale rifiuto domestico, ma deve
essere consegnata ad un punto di raccolta per il riciclaggio di
apparecchi elettrici ed elettronici. Ulteriori informazioni sono disponibili
nel vostro territorio di residenza, presso il servizio comunale o privato di
smaltimento rifiuti.

SCHMITT. Avete acquistato una bilancia avente un altissimo standard tecnico e una
qualità certificata.
Si prega di leggere attentamente questo manuale prima di utilizzare la bilancia per la
prima volta; conservatelo in un luogo sicuro in modo che queste informazioni siano
sempre a portata di mano.
1. Per iniziare
Inserire la batt eria:
Aprire il coperchio del vano batteria sul lato inferiore della bilancia e inserire le batterie in
dotazione (2 x 1,5 V AAA). Fare attenzione alla corretta polarità delle batterie (+/-).
Informazioni di sicurezza:
Fare attenzione alla caduta di oggetti sulla bilancia per conseguente
danneggiamento.
Pulire la bilancia con un panno umido. Non utilizzare solvent
i o
detergenti abrasivi. Non immergere nell’acqua. Tutte le parti in
plastica della bilancia vanno pulite subito dopo il contatto con
alimenti grassi, spezie, aceto e altri prodotti alimentari fortemente
speziati e colorati. Evitare il contatto con acido citrico.
2. Funzionamento
Accensione della bilancia:
Porre la bilancia su una superficie piana e stabile e premere il tasto /ZERO in basso
sotto il display per accenderla. Sul display appariranno prima tutti i simboli e, dopo che la
bilancia si è stabilizzata (simbolo ), a seconda dell'impostazione, apparirà quanto
segue:
0 g (grammi) / 0: 00 lb:oz (libbre once)
0 ml (millilitri latte) / 0.0 fl'oz (liquido once latte)
0 ml (millilitri acqua) / 0.0 fl'oz (liquido once acqua)
La bilancia è ora pronta all'uso.
Nota: Se dopo l'accensione sul display viene indicato un peso, premere il tasto
/ZERO per impostare la bilancia sul valore zero.
Unità di peso:
Premendo il tasto MODE in basso sotto il display, è possibile modificare l'unità di peso
nel seguente ordine: grammi/libbre once/millilitri latte/liquido once latte/millilitri acqua/
liquido once acqua. Premere ripetutamente il tasto MODE fino a quando sul display
appare l'unità di peso desiderata. Accertarsi che la bilancia sia impostata sempre sull'unità
di peso desiderata.
Funzione di azzeramento (tara):
Premere il tasto /ZERO per impostare la bilancia su “0 g” (apparirà il simbolo della tara
). Ad esempio, porre una ciotola sulla piattaforma di pesatura e premere il tasto
/ZERO per riportare la bilancia al valore “0 g”. Questa procedura può essere ripetuta
fino al raggiungimento della capacità massima della bilancia (5 kg). Dopo avere tolto il
prodotto pesato, il peso totale apparirà come valore negativo (sul display sarà visualizzato
il simbolo meno ).
Spegnimento automatico della bilancia:
Se il peso visualizzato sul display non cambia entro circa 2 minuti, la bilancia si spegne
automaticamente.
3. Messaggi di errore

5. Garanzia
Per un periodo di 3 anni a partire dalla data di acquisto, WAAGEN-SCHMITT garantisce
l'eliminazione gratuita (riparazione o sostituzione) di eventuali vizi riconducibili a difetti del
materiale o di fabbricazione. In caso di reclamo, restituire la bilancia insieme allo scontrino
fiscale al vostro rivenditore, specificando il motivo del reclamo.
Attenzione:
In caso di influenze elettromagnetiche estreme, ad esempio, quando si utilizza un
apparecchio radio nelle immediate vicinanze della bilancia, il valore dell'indicatore può
risultarne condizionato. Conclusosi tale fenomeno, il prodotto può essere nuovamente
utilizzato come previsto, anche se una riattivazione può risultare necessaria.

Dit symbool op het prod
uct of op de verpakking ervan betekent dat het
product niet als normaal huishoudelijk afval mag worden behandeld,
maar echter moet worden ingeleverd bij een inzamelpunt voor de
recycling van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Nadere
inlichtingen zijn verkrijgbaar in uw gemeenschap, bij gemeentelijke
diensten voor afvalverwerking of in de winkel waar u het product hebt
aangeschaft.

Hartelijk bedankt voor het aanschaffen van dit kwaliteitsproduct van het Bedrijf
WAAGEN-SCHMITT. U hebt een weegschaal aangeschaft van de hoogste technische
standaard en van bewezen kwaliteit.
Lees deze gebruikshandleiding a.u.b. zorgvuldig door voordat u de weegschaal voor het
eerst gebruikt, en bewaar de instructies op een veilige plek zodat deze informatie altijd
beschikbaar is wanneer u het nodig hebt.
1. Starten
De batterijen installeren:
Open het klepje van de batterijhouder op de onderzijde van de weegschaal en installeer
de meegeleverde batterijen (2 x 1,5 V AAA). Let hierbij a.u.b. op de juiste polariteit van de
batterijen (+/-).
Veiligheidinformatie:
Laat a.u.b. geen voorwerpen op de weegschaal vallen, om
beschadiging van het product te voorkomen.
Reinig de weegschaal uitsluitend met
een vochtig doekje. Gebruik
geen enkele oplosmiddelen of agressieve reinigingsproducten.
Nooit in water dompelen. Alle kunststof onderdelen van de
weegschaal dienen onmiddellijk te worden gereinigd na contact
met vet, kruiden, azijn en andere sterk gekruide en gekleurde
levensmiddelen. Vermijd enig contact met citroenzuur.
2. Bediening
Inscha kelen van de weegschaa l:
Zet de weegschaal op een stevige, vlakke ondergrond en druk de toets “ /ZERO”
onder het scherm. Bij het inschakelen verschijnen eerst alle symbolen en nadat de
weegschaal zich heeft gestabiliseerd (scherm: symbool ) verschijnt, afhankelijk van de
instelling, de aanduiding:
0 g (gram) / 0: 00 lb:oz (pond ounce)
0 ml (milliliter melk) / 0.0 fl'oz (vloeibaar ounce melk)
0 ml (milliliter water) / 0.0 fl'oz (vloeibaar ounce water)
De weegschaal is nu klaar om te wegen.
Aanwijzingen: Als na het inschakelen van de weegschaal een gewicht wordt
aangegeven, druk dan op de toets “ /ZERO” om de weegschaal op nul te stellen.
Gewich tseen heden:
Door op de toets “MODE”, onder het scherm, te drukken, kunt u de gewichtseenheid in
de volgende volgorde instellen: gram/pond ounce/milliliter melk/vloeibaar ounce
melk/milliliter water/vloeibaar ounce water. Druk net zo vaak op de toets “MODE” totdat
de door u gewenste gewichtseenheid op het scherm verschijnt. Let erop dat de
weegschaal altijd op de voor u gebruikelijke gewichtseenheid is in gesteld.
Doorweeg-(tarra-)func tie:
Door op de toets “ /ZERO” te drukken, kunt u de weegschaal op “0 g” instellen
(scherm: tarrasymbool ). Zet bijvoorbeeld een schotel op het weegplatform, druk de
knop “ /ZERO” en stel daarmee de weegschaal weer in op “0 g”. U kunt dit net zo vaak
herhalen tot u de totale capaciteit van de weegschaal (5 kg) hebt bereikt. Als u de te
wegen producten van de weegschaal afhaalt, wordt het totaalgewicht als een negatieve
waarde (scherm: minteken ) aangegeven.
Automatisch uitscha kelen van de weegschaal:
Als het aangegeven gewicht gedurende ongeveer twee minuten niet verandert, schakelt
de weegschaal automatisch uit.

5. Garantie
WAAGEN-SCHMITT garandeert voor 3 jaar vanaf koopdatum gratis verhelpen van
gebreken op basis van materiaal- of fabricagefouten door reparatie of vervanging. Bij
garantieclaim weegschaal, met factuur en met opgave van de reden voor de reclamatie
aan uw verkoper teruggeven.
Opgelet a.u.b.: De indicatorwaarde kan worden aangetast door extreme
elektromagnetische invloeden, bijv. wanneer u een radioapparaat in de directe omgeving
van de weegschaal gebruikt. Nadat de verstorende bron is gestopt, kan het product weer
op normale wijze worden gebruikt, al moet deze mogelijk opnieuw worden ingeschakeld.
