the wall socket and then consult
a qualified electrician for an
inspection and /or repair of the
product.
• Should the product malfunction
due to electrostatic discharge,
switch off at the wall socket and
allow 30 minutes for the charge to
dissipate before reconnecting the
power supply.
• Ensure that there are no metallic
objects placed in the internal space
of the product as this may damage
the product and cause a risk of
electric shock to the user.
• In the unlikely event the appliance
develops a fault, stop using
it immediately and seek advice

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove the parts from the packaging.
2. Assemble as instructed in the
assembly page.
3. Your appliance is now ready for normal
use.
4. Dispose of the packaging in a
responsible manner.
HOW TO POSITION THE TURNTABLE
Ensure that the product is placed on a
at level surface in a dust free, cool, dry
environment with good ventilation and
where it cannot be knocked or bumped and
the power cable will not cause a trip hazard.
MAINS CONNECTION
1. Ensure that the mains voltage of your
home corresponds to the operating
voltage of the adaptor.
2. Connect the DC connector to the DC
Power jack on the unit.
3. Plug in the power adaptor to the mains
socket.
SPEAKER/AMPLIFIER CONNECTION
You may connect the supplied external
speakers or an amplier to listen to your
records.
Follow the steps below:
Connect the audio plugs to the line input on
your mixer or amplier using an RCA cable
(not supplied).
• Red plug into r/h channel input.
• White plug into l/h channel input.
PLAYING A RECORD
1. Place the record of your choice on the
turntable. If it is a 45rpm, do not forget
to place the adapter on the record
spindle.
2. Remove the protective cover from the
stylus cartridge.
3. Turn on the turntable using the Power/
Volume Knob.
4. Choose the desired playing speed using
the Speed Selector to switch between
33.3, 45 and 78rpm.
5. Release the tone arm lock.
6. Push in the arm lightly with your hand.
7. Place the stylus vertically over the rst
track of the record, and the turntable
will start turning automatically.
8. Slowly put the stylus down on the
record to play.
9. Once the tone arm reaches the end
of the record at the centre of the
turntable, playback will stop. Lift up the
tone arm and put it on the rest when
nished.
Note: The record should automatically stop
when it comes to an end. If the turntable
does not shut o, turn o the power with
the On/O Volume Dial.
Note: If your record stops before the last
track nishes, you will have to manually
restart playback.
10. When a record comes to the end, the
turntable will stop automatically if the
Auto Stop switch is in the ON position.
If the switch is in the o position then it
will be suitable for Long Play records.
11. Replace the protective cap on the stylus
and close the tone arm lock.
12. Turn o the power with the Power/
Volume knob, and unplug the device at
the Mains.

Note: Always ensure that the tone arm is
secured before transporting.
RECORDING AUDIO
This turntable is equipped with a PC
Encoding feature to record audio from
a vinyl record. This feature can be used
by installing and using a program called
‘Audacity’ for the Windows Operating
System.
1. Insert the Audacity program CD into the
drive of your computer or download the
Audacity program.
2. Click on the ‘Audacity’ le to open
it and click on ‘adacity.exe’ to run
the program. Follow the on-screen
instructions to install it onto your
computer.
3. After the software is installed, you
should be able to record vinyl records
to your PC.
4. Connect the power cord to the
turntable’s DC power jack, and the
other end to the Mains outlet.
5. Plug the supplied USB cable into the
USB port of the turntable and the other
end into the computer’s USB port.
6. Rotate the Power/Volume knob to turn
on the appliance and open the Audacity
program on your computer.
7. Before recording, click on the ‘Edit’
menu and select ‘Preferences’. The
‘Preferences’ menu should open up.
8. Under the ‘Recording’ section, select
the USB audio device and choose
‘Software Playthrough’ to hear
the audio while it records. Note: In
Windows, the turntable may show
up under a dierent name. This may
depend on your computer model and
operating system.
9. If you have diculty nding the
turntable, check your system settings
or on the control panel to adjust the
audio input settings from the sound
control panel.
10. To record, start the turntable and place
the stylus on the vinyl record to begin
playback. In Audacity, click on the red
record button located on the toolbar.
This will begin recording the audio
from a vinyl to PC.
11. When the track has nished recording,
click on the orange stop button.
Note: After recording to the computer, the
USB cable may need to be removed from
the USB port to enable playback from the
computer later on.

USING AUDACITY TO RECORD TO WAV
1. Save your les to the computer, once
recording and editing are complete.
Click on le. Scroll down to the “Export
as WAV” tab and select it.
2. You’ll be prompted for the le name of
your music. Save it in the pre-selected
folder or save it in a folder of your
choice. Note: This can either be an
existing one or a new folder.
USING AUDACITY TO RECORD TO MP3
1. Save your les to the computer, once
recording and editing are complete.
Click on le. Scroll down to the “Export
as MP3” tab and click on it.
2. You’ll be prompted for the le name of
your music. Save it in the pre-selected
folder or save it in a folder of your
choice. Note: This can either be an
existing one or a new folder.
Note: To activate the “Export to Mp3”
feature, you must copy a le named
“lame_enc.dll” from the installation CD
and paste it into the AUDACITY folder on
the hard drive that contains the software
on that was copied from the CD during
installation. The software will automatically
detect this le and the “Export to Mp3” will
be enabled.
REPLACING THE STYLUS
Replace your stylus periodically
(approximately every 250 hours).
1. Push the arm lock to release the tone
arm.
2. Take o cap of the cartridge to expose
the stylus.
3. Gently separate the cartridge from the
socket.
4. Take o the audio line from the
cartridge.
5. To replace the stylus with a new one,
reverse the above operations
Note: Please exercise extreme care whilst
performing this operation to avoid the tone
arm and audio wires from being damaged.
Dust the stylus from time to time using a
very soft brush dipped in alcohol (brushing
from back to front of the cartridge).
When transporting your record player do
not forget to:
• Replace the protective cap on the
stylus.
• Put the rest clip into the pick-up arm.

PROBLEM SOLOUTION
The unit will not
power on.
Make sure the power cord is connected to an appropriate electrical
outlet and that the socket is switched ON.
There is no sound. Rotate the Volume knob to increase the Volume.
The record will not
play.
Make sure you have selected the correct speed (33, 45 or
78 RPM).
Make sure the power adapter is correctly plugged in.
There is no sound
via the RCA port. Check the volume on your amplier or your external device.
TROUBLESHOOTING THE APPLIANCE
CLEANING AND CARE
IMPORTANT:
• Always disconnect the equipment from
the power supply before cleaning.
• Clean the equipment with a soft, damp,
lint free cloth.
• Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaners.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from
children and pets.
CLEANING AND STORING VINYL RECORDS
• Use a soft anti-static cloth to gently
wipe the surface.
• Store records in a protective sleeve
when not in use.
• Avoid placing records in direct sunlight,
close to a heat source (radiators,
stoves, etc. or in a location that may
be subject to vibration, excessive heat,
cold or moisture.
CLEANING AND STORING THE TURNTABLE
• Always disconnect the equipment from
the power supply before cleaning.
• Clean the equipment with a soft, damp,
lint free cloth.
• Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaners.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from
children and pets.
