3. HOW TO
3.1 CALIBRATE THE INSTRUMENT
To go to the calibration screen press to enter main menu,
then press repeatedly until you reach the Calibration item
and nally press to conrm.
1. Insert the nominal value: move with to the box with
numerical value, inside the box move to the desired digit with
then press until you reach the desired value.
2. Start measure: after setting the nominal value press
to move to start measure item then press to conrm.
3. Once the measurement has been taken, press to
conrm and go back to the main menu.
2. MAIN DISPLAY
In the gure you can see a typical instrument screen after the
switch-on se-quence:
Much of the screen is used, depending on the level we’re on, by
the measure-ment parameters list or by the menu items or by
options list. To the right side there are some system icons that
are always displayed in every screen: respectively from the top
there is the battery level icon, the bluetooth sta-tus icon and the
prole save mode icon.
If in the screen there is a vertical scrolling menu list, to the lower
right side the re-lated scrolling indicator, represented by two
little overlapped triangles, is dis-played: if the upper triangle
becomes grey it means that we are at the beginning of the list,
whereas if the lower triangle becomes grey it means that we
reached the end of the list.

3.2 SELECTING PARAMETERS AND RELATIVE
TOLERANCES
To access the parameter selection screen, press to move to
the main menu and then press several times until you reach
the Parametri (Parameters) option, then press to conrm.
The following screen appears:
The parameters that can be displayed are indicated with an
icon while those that cannot be displayed are indicated
with an icon.
To access the screen for setting the parameter options, use
to move to the required parameter and then press to
conrm.
The following screen appears:
To enable / disable a parameter, use to move to the
icon and then press .
To enable / disable the tolerance check, use to move to
the checkbox on the left indicated by Toll and then press .
To set the upper and lower tolerance limits, use to move
to the numerical elds, and then use again to move to the
digit that you wish to modify inside the eld. Lastly, press
until you reach the required value.
Then press to return to the main menu.

3.3 TAKING MEASUREMENTS
To make sure that the measurement parameters are correct,
use to move from the main menu to the relative settings
screen by selecting the Set misura (Measurement set-up)
option and press to conrm.
The following screen appears:
1. Selecting the measurement standard. Use to move to
the Norma (Standard) option and then press to conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. It is also possible to select the unit of measure if you
select the ISO 4287 standard. In this case, use to move
to the required unit of measure and press to conrm.
Then press to return to the main menu.
2. Selecting the cut-off length (ISO 4287).
Use to move to the L. cut-off option, then press to
conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. The currently selected value is displayed in larger
characters compared to the other values.
Then press to return to the main menu.

3. Selecting the number of cut-offs (ISO 4287).
Use to move to the N° cut-off option, then press to
conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. The currently selected value is displayed in larger
characters compared to the other values.
Then press to return to the main menu.
4. Selecting the length of the stroke (ISO 12085).
Use to move to the L Mis option, then press to
conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. The currently selected value is displayed in larger
characters compared to the other values.
Then press to return to the main menu.
5. Selecting the measurement start delay.
Use to move to the Ritardo (Delay) Option then press
to conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. The currently selected value is indicated by the cursor
at the bottom.
Then press to return to the main menu.

6. Selecting automatic return after the measurement has
been taken. Use to move to the Ritorno (Return) option,
then press to conrm.
The following screen is displayed:
Use to move to the required option, then press to
conrm. Then press to return to the main menu.
In order to make sure that the tip of the feeler is in the correct
position, from the main menu use to move to the relative
control screen by selecting the Posizione (Position) option
and pressing to conrm.
The following screen appears:
Then press to return to the main menu. After carrying out
all the operations, press to return to the home screen,
then press again to start measuring.
3.4 DISPLAYING THE RESULTS
The measurement results screen is displayed automatically
after each reading has been taken. If the results of a reading
have already been loaded into memory and you are on a
different screen, press several times until the results
screen is displayed. If only one parameter has been enabled,
the following screen will be displayed:

If 2 parameters have been enabled, the following screen will
be displayed:
If 3 or more parameters have been enabled, the following

3.5 SELECTING THE LANGUAGE
To access the language selection screen, press to go to
the main menu, then press several times until you reach
the Sistema (System) option, then press to conrm.
The following screen appears:

times until you reach the Lingua (Language) option, then press
to conrm.
The following screen appears:
Press several times until you reach the required language,
then press to conrm.
When nished, press twice to return to the main menu.
3.6 ENABLING - DISABLING THE BLUETOOTH
To access the Bluetooth connection screen, press to go
to the main menu, then press several times until you reach
the Sistema (System) option, then press to conrm.
The following screen appears
To enable/disable the Bluetooth, press until you reach the
Bluetooth option then press to conrm.
The Bluetooth is active when the checkbox next to the text is
checked, if it is not active, the checkbox will be empty.

3. COME FARE PER
3.1 CALIBRARE LO STRUMENTO
Per accedere alla schermata di calibrazione premete per
entrare nel menu principale, quindi premete più volte no
a raggiungere la voce Calibrazione dopodichè premete per
confermare.
1. Inserire il valore nominale: portarsi con no alla
casella con il valore numerico, all’interno della casella spostarsi
sulla cifra desiderata con quindi premere nchè non
si raggiunge il valore desiderato.
2. Avvio misura: terminata l’impostazione del valore nominale
premere per portarsi sulla voce start misura quindi
premere per confermare.
3. Al termine della misura, per confermare e tornare al menu
principale premere .
2. SCHERMATA PRINCIPALE
In gura si può vedere una tipica schermata dello strumento
dopo l’accensione:
Gran parte dello schermo è occupata, a seconda del livello in
cui ci troviamo, dalla lista dei parametri di misura o dalle voci
dei menu o da liste di opzioni.
Nel lato destro sono visualizzate alcune icone di sistema che
sono sempre visualizzate in ogni schermata: rispettivamente
dall’alto abbiamo l’icona di stato della carica della batteria e
l’icona di stato del bluetooth.
Se nella schermata è presente un menu a lista a scorrimento
verticale, in basso a destra viene visualizzato il relativo
indicatore di scorrimento, rappresentato da due triangolini
sovrapposti: se il triangolino superiore diventa grigio signica
che siamo all’inizio della lista, quando invece il triangolino
inferiore diventa grigio signica che abbiamo raggiunto la ne
della lista.

3.2 SELEZIONARE I PARAMETRI E RELATIVE
TOLLERANZE
Per accedere alla schermata di selezione dei parametri premete
per entrare nel menu principale, quindi premete più volte
no a raggiungere la voce Parametri dopodichè premete
per confermare.
Avremo la seguente schermata:
I parametri abilitati alla visualizzazione sono quelli
contrassegnati dall’icona mentre quelli non abilitati
sono contrassegnati dall’icona .
Per accedere alla schermata di impostazione delle opzioni del
parametro portarsi sul parametro desiderato con quindi
confermare premendo .
Avremo la seguente schermata:
Per abilitare/disabilitare il parametro portarsi sull’icona
con quindi premere .
Per abilitare/disabilitare il controllo di tolleranza portarsi con
sulla casellina a sinistra contrassegnata dalla scritta Toll quindi
premere .
Per impostare il valore dei limiti di tolleranza superiore e
inferiore portarsi con all’interno delle caselle numeriche,
quindi spostarsi sempre con per raggiungere la posizione
della cifra che si vuole modicare e inne premere nchè
non si raggiunge il valore desiderato.
Premere poi per tornare al menu principale.

3.3 ESEGUIRE LA MISURA
Per vericare che i parametri di misura siano corretti portarsi
da menu principale tramite all’apposita schermata di
impostazione selezionando la voce Set misura e premendo
per confermare.
Avremo la seguente schermata:
1. Selezione della normativa di misura. Portarsi con
sulla voce Norma quindi premere per confermare. Viene
visualizzata la seguente schermata:
Portarsi sulla voce desiderata con quindi confermare
premendo . Se si seleziona la normativa ISO 4287 è
anche possibile selezionare l’unità di misura, anche in questo
caso ci si posiziona sulla voce da attivare con e si
conferma premendo . Premere poi per tornare al
menu principale.
2. Selezione della lunghezza del cut-off (normativa ISO
4287). Portarsi con sulla voce L. cut-off quindi premere
per confermare.
Viene visualizzata la seguente schermata:
Portarsi sulla voce desiderata con quindi confermare
premendo . Il valore attualmente selezionato viene
rappresentato con dimensione maggiore rispetto agli altri valori.
Premere poi per tornare al menu principale.

3. Selezione del numero di cut-off (normativa ISO 4287).
Portarsi con sulla voce N° cut-off quindi premere
per confermare.
Viene visualizzata la seguente schermata:
Portarsi sulla voce desiderata con quindi confermare
premendo . Il valore attualmente selezionato viene
rappresentato con dimensione maggiore rispetto agli altri valori.
Premere poi per tornare al menu principale.
4. Selezione della lunghezza corsa (normativa ISO 12085).
Portarsi con sulla voce L Mis quindi premere per
confermare.
Viene visualizzata la seguente schermata:
Portarsi sulla voce desiderata con quindi confermare
premendo .
Il valore attualmente selezionato viene rappresentato con
dimensione maggiore rispetto agli altri valori.
Premere poi per tornare al menu principale.
5. Selezione del ritardo di avvio misura.
Portarsi con sulla voce Ritardo quindi premere
per confermare.
Viene visualizzata la seguente schermata:
Portarsi sulla voce desiderata con quindi confermare
premendo . Il valore attualmente selezionato viene
indicato dalla posizione del cursore in basso.
Premere poi per tornare al menu principale.

6. Selezione del ritorno automatico a ne misura.
Portarsi con sulla voce Ritorno quindi premere
per confermare.
Viene visualizzata la seguente schermata:
Portarsi sulla voce desiderata con quindi confermare
premendo .
Premere poi per tornare al menu principale.
Per vericare il corretto posizionamento della punta del
tastatore portarsi da menu principale tramite all’apposita
schermata di controllo selezionando la voce Posizione e
premendo per confermare.
Avremo la seguente schermata:
Premere poi per tornare al menu principale.
Al termine di tutte le operazioni premete per tornare alla
schermata iniziale quindi premete nuovamente per far
partire la misura.
3.4 VISUALIZZARE I RISULTATI DELLA MISURA
La schermata dei risultati di misura viene visualizzata
automaticamente al termine di ogni misura. Se i risultati di
una misura sono già stati caricati in memoria e ci si trova in
una schermata diversa, si preme più volte nchè non
viene visualizzata la schermata dei risultati della misura.
Se è stato abilitato un solo parametro, sarà visualizzata la
seguente schermata:

Se sono stati abilitati 2 parametri, sarà visualizzata la seguente

3.5 MODIFICARE LA LINGUA
Per accedere alla schermata di selezione della lingua premete
per entrare nel menu principale, quindi premete più volte
no a raggiungere la voce Sistema dopodichè premete
per confermare.
Avremo la seguente schermata:

IT Per accedere alla schermata di selezione della lingua premete
no a raggiungere la voce Lingua dopodichè premete
per confermare.
Avremo la seguente schermata:
Premete più volte no a raggiungere la lingua desiderata
dopodichè premete per confermare.
Al termine premere due volte per tornare al menu
principale.
3.6 ATTIVARE - DISATTIVARE IL BLUETOOTH
Per accedere alla schermata di attivazione della connessione
bluetooth premete per entrare nel menu principale, quindi
premete più volte no a raggiungere la voce Sistema
dopodichè premete per confermare.
Avremo la seguente schermata:
Per attivare/disattivare il bluetooth premete no a
raggiungere la voce Bluetooth dopodichè premete per
confermare.
Il Bluetooth è attivo quando la casellina a lato della scritta è
riempita da una croce, viceversa la casellina sarà vuota.
