TheIOG500AMseriescanbeplacedonadesktop,ormountedontheDINRail,andwall.
1.6.2InserttheSIMCard
WARNING:BEFOREINSERTINGORCHANGINGTHESIMCARD,PLEASEMAKESURE
THATPOWEROFTHEDEVICEISSWITCHEDOFF.
TheSIMcardslotsarelocatedattherightsideofIOG500 serieshousinginordertoprotecttheSIMcard.You
needtounscrewandremovetheouterSIMcardcoverbeforeinstallingorremovingtheSIMcard.Please
followtheinstructionstoinsertorejectaSIMcard.AfterSIMcardiswellplaced,screwbacktheouterSIM
cardcover.
Step 1:
Loosen the screws as
below and remove
the SIM cover.
Step 2:
Push the SIM card
into the slot 1 (SIM-
A
)
or slot 2
(
SIM-B
)
.
Step 3:
Push the inserted SIM
card again to eject it
from the SIM slot.

The IOG500 series unit accepts 9-32V DC input power, and can be powered by DC12V or DC24V DC
supply. The IOG500 unit can be powered by connecting a power source to the power terminal block.
Please connect carefully your power source. Make sure the electrodes have been plugged into the
right pins according to their assignments.
ThereisaDC12V/1Apoweradapter2inthepackageforyoutoeasilyconnectDCpoweradaptertothis
terminalblock.
WARNNING:Thiscommercial‐gradepoweradapterismainlyforeaseofpoweringup

TheIOG500seriesprovidesoneRJ45porttoconnect10/100MbpsEthernet.Itcanautodetectthe
transmissionspeedonthenetworkandconfigureitselfautomatically.ConnectoneEthernetcabletotheRJ45
port(LAN)ofthedeviceandpluganotherendoftheEthernetcableintoyourcomputer’snetworkport.Inthis
way,youcanusetheRJ45EthernetcabletoconnectthedevicetothehostPC’sEthernetportforconfiguring
thedevice.

andthenlinktotheInternetviadifferentkindsoftransmitmedia.
So,theWANConnectionletsyouspecifytheWANPhysicalInterface,WANInternetSetupandWANLoad
BalanceforIntranettoaccessInternet.ForeachWANinterface,youmustspecifyitsphysicalinterfacefirst
andthenitsInternetsetuptoconnecttoISP.

Please MUST POWER OFF the gateway before you

"Alwayson"mode,outgoingdatawillthroughtheseWANconnectionsbaseonloadbalancepolicies.
VLANTagging
Sometimes,yourISPrequiredaVLANtagtobeinsertedintotheWANpacketsfromGatewayforspecific
services.PleaseenableVLANtaggingandspecifytagintheWANphysicalinterface.Pleasebenotedthatonly
EthernetandADSLphysicalinterfacessupportthefeature.Forthedevicewith3G/4GWANonly,itis
disabled.

ThePhysicalInterfaceallowsusertosetupthephysicalWANinterfaceandtoadjustWAN’sbehavior.
