class4GLTEandADSL2+module,youjustneedtoinsertSIMcardfromlocalmobilecarriertogettoInternet.
TheredundantSIMandandmobile/ADSLcombo‐WANdesignprovideamorereliableWANconnectionfor
criticalapplications.ByVPNtunnelingtechnology,remotesiteseasilybecomeapartofIntranet,andalldata
aretransmittedinasecure(256‐bitAESencryption)link.TomeetavarietyofM2Mapplicationrequirements,

TheIOG761seriesproductscanbemountedonawall,horizontalplane,orDINRailinacabinetwiththe
mountingaccessories(bracketsorDIN‐railkit).Themountingaccessoriesarenotscrewedontheproduct
whenoutoffactory.Pleasescrewthewall‐mountkitsorDIN‐railbracketontheproductfirst.
1.6.2InserttheSIMCard
WARNING:BEFOREINSERTINGORCHANGINGTHESIMCARD,PLEASEMAKESURE
THATPOWEROFTHEDEVICEISSWITCHEDOFF.
TheSIMcardslotsarelocatedatthebottomsideofIDG762housing.Youneedtounscrewandremovethe
outerSIMcardcoverbeforeinstallingorremovingtheSIMcard.PleasefollowtheinstructionstoinsertaSIM
card.AfterSIMcardiswellplaced,screwbacktheouterSIMcardcover.

Follow red arrow to
unlock SIM socket

TheIOG761seriesproductcanbepoweredbyconnectingapowersourcetotheterminalblock.Itsupports
dual9to48VDCpowerinputs.Followingpictureisthepowerterminalblockpinassignments.Pleasecheck
carefullyandconnecttotherightpowerrequirementsandpolarity.
ThereisaDC12V/2Apoweradapter3inthepackageforyoutoeasilyconnectDCpoweradaptertothis
terminalblock.
WARNNING:Thiscommercial‐gradepoweradapterismainlyforeaseofpoweringupthepurchaseddevice
whileinitialconfiguration.It’snotforoperatingatwidetemperaturerangeenvironment.PLEASEPREPARE
ORPURCHASEOTHERINDUSTRIAL‐GRADEPOWERSUPPLYFORPOWERINGUPTHEDEVICE.
ForthedualpowersupplydesignonPWR1andPWR2,theprimary/backuppowermodeisimplemented.If
thereisonlyonepowersource,nomatteritisconnectedtoPWR1orPWR2,thedevicecanbepoweredup
withthepowersource.
However,iftherearetwopowersourcesavailableandconnectedtobothPWR1andPWR2simutaneously,the
devicewillchoosePWR1astheprimarypower,andsupplyrequiredpowertotheentiresystem.ThePWR2is
treatedasabackuppowersource,andthedevicewillseamlesslyswitchtousethePWR2asthepowersource
forthedevicewhenthereisapowerfailureonPWR1.WheneverPWR1isrecovered,itwillcontinutetosupply
therequiredpowertothesystemsincePWR1isthetreatedastheprimarypowersource.

TheIOG761seriesprovidesfourRJ45portstoconnect10/100MbpsEthernet.Itcanautodetectthe
transmissionspeedonthenetworkandconfigureitselfautomatically.ConnecttheEthernetcabletotheRJ45
portsofthedevice.PlugoneendofanEthernetcableintoyourcomputer’snetworkportandtheotherend
intooneoftheLANportsonthefrontpanel.Ifyouneedtoconfigureortroubleshootthedevice,youmay
needtoconnectthegatewaydirectlytothehostPC.Inthisway,youcanalsousetheRJ45Ethernetcableto
connectthegatewaytothehostPC’sEthernetport.

inISPsandthenlinktotheInternetviadifferentkindsoftransmitmedia.
So,theWANConnectionletsyouspecifytheWANPhysicalInterface,WANInternetSetupandWANLoad
BalanceforIntranettoaccessInternet.ForeachWANinterface,youmustspecifyitsphysicalinterfacefirst
andthenitsInternetsetuptoconnecttoISP.Besides,sincethegatewayhasmultipleWANinterfaces,youcan
assignphysicalinterfacetoparticipateintheLoadBalancefunction.
