Safety Anchor
Installation Instructions
Step 1. Find asafe location on the dash away from Air Bag
deployment zones to place the Friction mount.
Package Contents:
(1) (M012 - Universal beanbag / friction mount
(1) Adhesive safety anchor
(l) Alcohol cleaning pad
No Tools Required for installation.
&Do not install this mount in an airbag deployment zone.
Step 2. Locate the best viewing position for your portable
navigation device within asafe location on the dash.
Step
3. Position safety anchor behind friction mount with
hook facing towards the windshield.
Step
4. Insert safety anchor into safety anchor loop provided
on the back
of the friction mount.

1Choose the position on your dashboard where
you
want to install the Dashboard Mount. It
should
not interfere in any way with the
following
• Your view of the road
•
Any of the controls in your car
•
Any of your mirrors
•The airbag or the area where the airbag
would be inflated.
You should be able
to reach your navigation
device easily when it is in the Dashboard
Mount without leaning or stretching.

2Position the safety hook behind the Dashboard
Mount with the hook facing towards the
windshield.
Before
you attach the safety hook, clean the
area on the dashboard with the cleaning pad.
Coloque el gancho
de seguridad tras la
montura para el salpicadero con el gancho
orientado hacia el parabrisas.

3Attach
the Dashboard Mount to the hook.
Fije

pare-brise.

4Place
your navigation device in the Dashboard
Mount.

Safety Anchor Installation for use with Universal Friction Mount
Step 1.
Choose a safe location for the safety anchor-
away from any air bag deployment zone.
Step
2.
Use includedalcohol pad 10 clean the
mounting surface of any oil, or dirt. Let
the area dry completely.
Step
}.
Peel off the backing paper on the safety
anchorto expose
the adhesive area. Be sure
the
hook is curlingtowards the windshield.
See the diagram below. Firmly affix and hold
f~ 1min. Allow to bond for 24 hoursat n"F
before\.Ising.

Adhesive Removal
Use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and
saturate
the area around the hook. Let stand
for 1min. Take a
long piece of dentalfloss in
each hand and
gently cut the adhesive from
the dash
or console, Reapply akohol if any
adhesive remains and
lift off by hand.
