Step 1. Slide the adapter plate up into the grooves on the
back of the TomTom ONE, ONE XL, or ONE XL • S.
TomTom ONE and ONE XL Adapter Plate Installation
Cup Holder Mounting
Connect the gooseneck shaft (A) to the cup holder base (B) by
aligning the groove on the base to the ridge inside of the bottom
of the shaft.
Place the Universal Cup Holder Mount into the designated cup
holder in the vehicle. Adjust the thumb wheel adjuster (C) to open
or close the cup holder prongs to t in the cup holder.
For oversize cup holder openings or the adjustable “pop out” cup
holders use the optional self-adhesive side support pads (D). Install
the pads by removing the adhesive backing and placing it on the
at surface side of the cup holder support leg.

Attach the adapter plate by sliding it up into the slot on the
back of the TomTom GO 520, 530, 720, 730, 920, 920T, or 930
model device as shown below.

Attach the device cradle to the pedestal by inserting the
dual T-Tabs of the pedestal (E) into the T-slots of the
adapter plate (F).
Attach the adapter plate to the TomTom VIA by inserting
the ball of the adapter plate into the socket cavity on the
VIA. Make sure to apply sucient force. It may be helpful
to apply a twisting motion to the adapter plate while
inserting.
Attach the device and adapter plate to the pedestal by
inserting the dual T-Tabs of the pedestal into the T-slots of
the adapter plate.

Connect Adapter Plate to Pedestal

Connect the dual T-slots (F) on the adapter plate to the dual
T-tabs (E) on the head of the cup holder post.
Adjust the angle of the dual T head by tightening the adjust-
ment nut at the top of the post (D).

TomTom Device Insertion and Removal
While holding the mounted adapter plate, gently insert
the device (not included, sold separately) into the adapter
plate until an audible click is heard. The device can then
be rotated into the desired viewing angle.
