To disconnect the machine from the electrical Power
Supply, turn off the power switch and remove the power
cable plug from the wall socket. The wall socket must
be easily accessible and in close proximity to the
machine.
Read these instructions carefully. Save these
instructions for future reference.
Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the
product.
Do not use this product near water.
Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, or
table. The product may fall, causing serious damage to
the product.
Slots and openings in the cabinet and the back or

3. POS System Assembly & Disassembly
3.1 Open the System Cover
Open the System Cover as depicted below.

3.2 Replace the Memory and/or Storage Disk Drive
TWIST POS System offers M.2 Solid State Drive (SSD).
*Please note that if you are replacing your SSD, you will need to reinstall your operating
system after replacing it.
Make sure the unit is powered off before starting.
Please follow the below steps to finish the replacement :
1. Remove the System Cover
To open the System Cover, please refer to the procedures described in Chapter
3-1 and remove it.
2. Detach the Processor Module

3. Replace the Memory and/or Storage Disk Drive

Storage Disk Drive
(1) Locate the memory slot
inside the Processor
Module enclosure.
(2) Flip the ejector clips
outwards to remove
the memory module
from the memory slot.
(3) Slide the memory
module into the
memory slot and press
down until the ejector
clips snaps in place.
(1) Locate the storage slot
inside the Processor
Module enclosure.
(2) Screw off the
corresponding screw to
remove the SSD from
the storage slot.
(3) Secure the screw after
finishing replaced the
storage disk drive.
3. Close up the case of Processor Module

4. Install the Processor Module and System Cover into the unit
5. Connect the power supply and get ready to power on the system

3.3 Install the Power Adapter
The system is equipped with a 65W power adapter. Please follow below procedures to
get it plugged into the system.
1. Slide out the Cable Cover of the I/O Module.
2. Remove the two side-screws to release the I/O Module.
3. Locate the DC-IN Jack and connect the power cable properly.
4. Secure the I/O Module with the two side-screws and slide in the Cable Cover.
