Gracias por haber adquirido este equipo. Deseamos sinceramente que disfrute de la
centrifuga analógica Nahita. Le recomendamos que cuide el equipo conforme a lo expues-
to en este manual.
Nahita desarrolla sus productos según las directrices del marcado CE y haciendo hin-
capié en la ergonomía y seguridad del usuario.
La calidad de los materiales empleados en la fabricación y el correcto proceder le per-
mitirán disfrutar del equipo por muchos años.
El uso incorrecto o indebido del equipo puede dar lugar a accidentes, descargas eléctri-
cas, cortocircuitos, fuegos, lesiones, etc. Lea el punto de Mantenimiento, donde se recogen
aspectos de seguridad.
Tenga especialmente presente lo siguiente:
Este manual es parte inseparable del centrifuga analógica Nahita, por lo que debe estar
disponible para todos los usuarios del equipo.
Debe manipularse siempre con cuidado evitando los movimientos bruscos, golpes, caí-
das de objetos pesados o punzantes; evitar el derrame de líquidos en su interior
Nunca desmonte el equipo para repararlo usted mismo, además de perder la garantía
podría producir un funcionamiento deficiente de todo el equipo, así como daños a las per-
sonas que lo manipulan.
Para prevenir fuego o descargas eléctricas, evite los ambientes secos y polvorientos. Si
esto ocurre, desenchufar inmediatamente el equipo de la toma de corriente.
Cualquier duda puede ser aclarada por su distribuidor (instalación, puesta en marcha,
funcionamiento). Usted puede también mandarnos sus dudas o sugerencias a la siguien-

Este equipo está amparado por la Ley de garantías y bienes de consumo (10/2003).
No se consideran en garantía las revisiones del equipo.
La manipulación del equipo por personal no autorizado provocará la pérdida total de
la garantía.
Los fusibles o accesorios, así como la pérdida de los mismos, no están cubiertos por
dicha garantía. Tampoco estarán cubiertos por el periodo de garantía las piezas en su des-
gaste por uso natural.
Asegúrese de guardar la factura de compra para tener derecho de reclamación o pres-
tación de la garantía. En caso de enviar el equipo al Servicio Técnico adjuntar factura o
copia de la misma como documento de garantía.
Rellene y envíe la garantía antes de los 15 días después de la compra.
El fabricante se reserva los derechos a posibles modificaciones y mejoras sobre este
manual y equipo.

2. FUNDAMENTOS
Centrífugas de diseño compacto y funcional para una amplia aplicación en los labora-
torios de investigación. Modelos de regulación analógica con cabezal para tubos de dife-
rentes volúmenes, y sistema de suspensión elástica del motor, garantizando un funciona-
miento suave.
Un ejemplo de las distintas actividades en las que las centrífugas se nos ofrece como téc-
nica de separación son:
- Separación del suero o plasma.
- Concentración de células.
- Separación de suspensiones.
- Investigación en biología molecular.
La centrífuga es un aparato que nos proporciona
una técnica de separación que está basada en el
movimiento de las partículas, de modo que estas son
desplazadas hacia el extremo distal del eje de rota-
ción según sus diferentes masas y formas.
La Fuerza Centrífuga Relativa (F.C.R.) es la fuerza
requerida para que se produzca la separación. Las
unidades de esta fuerza se expresan en número de
veces mayor que la gravedad (g).

La F.C.R. se calcula mediante la siguiente fórmula:
F.C.R.= 1,118 * 10-5 * r * n2
Siendo 1,118 * 10-5 una constante.
r= distancia horizontal del radio en centímetros desde el centro de rotación hasta el
fondo del tubo.
n= velocidad de rotación expresada en revoluciones por minuto ( r.p.m.).

Always use original components and supplies. Other devices can be similar but they
can damage the equipment.
The analogic centrifuges is supplied with a Schuko standard wire and it should be con-
nected to a current wire provided with an earth wire, it should be handy to be discon-
nected in case of emergency.
Never try to repair the analogic centrifuges by yourself, since you will lose the warranty
and may provoke damages to the general operating system or the electrical installation,
as well as injuries to the people that usually handle the analogic centrifuges (burns,
hurts…) or damages in nearby equipments.
In the event of breakdown please contact your distributor to overhaul through Nahita
Technical Assistance Department.
Use tubes that are resistant to the R.C.F., check that at the bottom of the adapter there
are some shock absorbers that are used as anti-shock.
Balance the centrifuge placing tubes that are equal in weight, shape and size in symme-
trical positions. If it is necessary, we will use tubes filled with water when one of the holes
is empty. In a centrifuge it is very important the concept of weight, then it is advisable to
have a balance to adjust the weights of the different tubes.
This is absolutely necessary since if the rotor is not well balanced it can produce sha-
kings, if these shakings are small it is difficult to notice them, then little by little the cen-
trifuge wears away and then the breaking of the tube holders increases and it produces a
worse sedimentation. It is advisable to change all the tube holders at the same time.
Do not stop the centrifuge by the application of any external force, in this way you will
avoid the possible mixture of the separate parts.
Fuse change: According model remove the cover which is in blackboard.



In case of damage or the change of the brushes, you have to get in touch with your sup-
plier for the repair by the Nahita Technical Service.
Change the carbon brush of the motor has been used for accumulative time of 1000
hours it schould be replace.
When revolving speed exceeds 4500 r.p.m, use nylon centrifugal tubes instead of glass
tubes to avoid the possible break-up of glass.
Cleaning
Never use scourers or substances that can grate for cleaning metallic parts such as stain-
less steel, aluminium, coatings, etc. as they damage the analogic centrifuges and produce
an early ageing of the equipment.
Use a fluff-free cloth dampened with soaped water that does not contain abrasives.
With high g-values, there is a possibility that tube breakage will occur. Should this hap-
pen, the centrifuge, rotor, buckets, adapters and the rotor chamber must be thoroughly cle-
aned and all broken particles removed immediately.

IF EQUIPMENTS ARE NOT PROPERLY CLEAN AND DISINFECTED THEY
WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO REPAIR BY OUR TECHNICAL SERVICE.













Power
Turn on the switch (1) and the light is lit to indicate that the power is connected.(Only
on models 2650, 2698)
Adjust the speed and time with knob respective: speed knob (2) and time knob (3).
Starting the centrifuge
When adjust the time to start the centrifuge. If you want to continuous run turn the
knob in opposite clockwise to the stop limit.(according to the model)
Stop
Once it past time the rotor stop. If you want to interrupt a centrifuge run, turn the knob
timer (3) in clokwise.
Security
The centrifuge must not be operated by unqualified persons not familiar with the
correct use and intended purpose of the machine.
You should put the Schuko standard wire in a horizontal plane stable table, having a
safety area of at least 30 cm per side.
Do not place the analogic centrifuges near any warm supply (burners, blowlamps, etc),
nor expose it directly to the sun. Avoid vibrations, dust and dry environments.
During its functioning dangerous materials such as flammable or pathological substan-
ces must be out of the safety area.
When you are not using the analogic centrifuges for a long period of time please make
sure it is unplugged in order to avoid possible accidents.
It is essential to have the equipment switched off and unplugged from the net before cle-
aning, checking components or replacing any piece (e.g. replacement of a fuse).
Never try to repair the analogic centrifuges by yourself, since you will lose the warranty
and may provoke damages to the general operating system or the electrical installation,
as well as injuries to the people that usually handle the equipment (burns, hurts…).

6. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING











To get the best results and a higher duration of this equipment it is essential to follow
the processes of use.
Note: All the processes of use mentioned below will not have any value unless you keep
a continued and careful maintenance.

5. INSTALACIÓN / PUESTA EN MARCHA
Inspección preliminar
Desembale el la centrifuga, retire el plástico que lo envuelve y quite la protección de
poliespán en que viene encajada. Retire todas las protecciones y, sin conectar la centrifu-
ga a la red eléctrica, asegúrese de que no presenta ningún daño debido al transporte. De
ser así, comuníquelo inmediatamente a su transportista o suministrador.
Guarde el embalaje, ya que siempre se deben realizar las devoluciones en su embalaje
original con todos los accesorios suministrados.
Compruebe los accesorios que usted debe recibir junto al equipo:
- Portatubos
- Cable Schuko
- Manual de instrucciones
- Garantía
No aceptaremos ningún equipo en periodo de devolución sin que vengan en su embala-
je original.
Instalación
Antes de comenzar a utilizar el instrumento, es conveniente familiarizarse con sus com-
ponentes y fundamentos básicos, así como con las funciones de sus controles.
Coloque el la centrifuga sobre una mesa horizontal, plana y estable, creando un espacio
libre al menos de 30 cm por cada lado. No coloque el equipo en zonas próximas a fuentes
de calor (mecheros, sopletes...), ni lo exponga directamente a la luz del sol, etc.
Evite en el lugar de trabajo productos inflamables o tóxicos.
La centrifuga se suministra con un cable Schuko estándar.

Inserte el cable de alimentación de corriente alterna (CA) a la base de corriente 220V
50Hz ±10% provista de toma de tierra y por el otro extremo al conector de la centrifuga.
Ni el fabricante ni el distribuidor asumirán responsabilidad alguna por los daños ocasio-
nados al equipo, instalaciones o lesiones sufridas a personas debido a la inobservancia del
correcto procedimiento de conexión eléctrica. La tensión debe ser de 220V 50Hz ±10%.
Cuando no vaya a hacer uso de la centrifuga durante largos períodos de tiempo, ase-
gúrese de que esté desconectado de la red y protéjalo del polvo (evitando así posibles
accidentes y prolongando la vida útil del equipo).
Puesta en funcionamiento
Apertura de la tapa
(Según modelo) pulse el botón que se encuentra en la parte superior derecha, y abra la
tapa. Coloque los tubos en el portatubos, cierre la tapa.
IMPORTANTE: colocarlos en posiciones simétricas y con el mismo peso en cada tubo
para evitar sacudidas durante el funcionamiento.
Encendido
Pulse el interruptor de encendido (1). (Sólo modelos 2650,2698).
Seleccione con los selectores respectivos la velocidad (2) y tiempo (3) de trabajo de la
centrífuga.
Puesta en marcha
La centrífuga comienza a funcionar una vez que seleccionamos el tiempo. Puede selec-
cionar la centrífuga con rotación continua para ello gire el selector de tiempo (3) en senti-
do contrario a las agujas del reloj hasta el tope (según modelo).
Parada
Una vez transcurrido el tiempo el cabezal se detiene. Si necesita parar la centrifugado-
ra antes del tiempo establecido, gire el selector de tiempo (3) en sentido contrario a las
agujas del reloj.
Seguridad
La centrifuga debe ser utilizado por personal cualificado previamente, que conozca el
equipo y su manejo mediante el manual de uso.
Coloque la centrifuga sobre una mesa horizontal, plana y estable, creando un espacio
libre al menos de 30 cm por cada lado.
Las centrífugas Nahita no son aptas para el tratamiento de líquidos inflamables, mues-
tras explosivas o muestras que son susceptibles de formar mezclas explosivas.











5. INSTALLATION / SETTING UP
Preliminary inspection
Unwrap the analogical centrifuges, take off the involving plastic and take off the polis-
pan protection in which it comes fitted. Take off all the protective items and, without con-
necting the analogical centrifuges to the net, make sure that it does not present any dama-
ge because of the shipment. In case the analogical centrifuges present any damage tell it
immediately to your transport agent or dealer so that they can make the claims in the
correct time limit.
Please keep the original wrapping; you will always need it for returns enclosed with all
the accessories supplied.
Please check that all the accessories are enclosed with the equipment:
- Tube holders
- Schuko standard wire
- Instruction manual
- Warranty
We will not accept any equipment in return period unless it comes in its original wrapping.
Installation
Before using this instrument, it is convenient for you to familiarize with its components
and basic essentials.
Please put the analogical centrifuges on top of a horizontal, plane and stable table
making a free space at least at 30 cm per side. Do not put the analogical centrifuges near
any warm supply (burners, blowlamps…), nor expose it directly to the sun, etc.
Avoid inflammable or toxic substances in the working area.
The analogical centrifuges is supplied with a Schuko standard wire.
PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE CONNECTING
AND OPERATING WITH THIS EQUIPMENT.







Please insert the wire that feeds the AC electric current in the base of current 220V 50Hz
±10% provided with earth wire and to the other end to the analogical centrifuges connector.
Neither the manufacturer nor the distributor will assume any responsibility for the dama-
ges produced to the equipment during its installation or damages to persons suffered by the
improper use of the electric connection. The tension should be 220V 50Hz ±10%.
If you are not using the analogical centrifuge for a long period of time please make sure
it is disconnected from the net and protected from dust (this way you will avoid accidents
and will extend its working-life).
Setting up
Cover’s openning
(According to the model) press the button which is in right-lateral and open the cover
Put the test sample into centrifuge tubes carefully.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the samples placed in the symetrical tubes are of equal
weight to avoid serious shaking due to big difference in weight, close the cover.

No coloque la centrifuga en zonas próximas a fuentes de calor (mecheros, sopletes...), ni
exponga el equipo directamente a la luz del sol. Evite las vibraciones, el polvo y ambien-
tes muy secos.
Durante su funcionamiento el material peligroso como líquidos inflamables o material
patológico, deben estar fuera de esta área.
Cuando no vaya a hacer uso del equipo por largos períodos de tiempo, asegúrese de
que está desconectado de la red para evitar posibles accidentes.
Para cualquier manipulación de limpieza, verificación de los componentes o sustitución
de cualquier componente (Ej.: sustitución de fusible) es imprescindible apagar el equipo
y desconectarlo de la toma de corriente.
No intente repararlo usted mismo; además de perder la garantía puede causar daños en
el funcionamiento general del equipo, así como lesiones a la persona (quemaduras, heri-
das...) y daños a la instalación eléctrica.
Fabricado según las directivas europeas de seguridad eléctrica, compatibilidad electro-
magnética y seguridad en maquinas.
Según modelo
- Desconexión del rotor en caso de apertura.
- Bloqueo de la puesta en marcha estando la tapa abierta.
6. MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA
Para un adecuado funcionamiento de la centrifuga es necesario seguir algunas reco-
mendaciones.
Nota: Todas las normas de utilización citadas anteriormente carecerán de valor si no se
realiza una continua labor de mantenimiento.
Siga las instrucciones y advertencias relativas a este manual.
Tenga este manual siempre a mano para que cualquier persona pueda consultarlo.
Utilice siempre componentes y repuestos originales. Puede ser que otros dispositivos
sean parecidos, pero su empleo puede dañar el equipo.
La centrifuga dispone de un cable de red Schuko; este debe conectarse a una toma de
corriente que esté conectada a tierra, debiendo quedar a mano para poder desconectarlo
en caso de emergencia.
No intente repararlo usted mismo; además de perder la garantía puede causar daños en
el funcionamiento general del equipo, así como lesiones a la persona (quemaduras, heri-
das...) y daños a la instalación eléctrica, o equipos eléctricos cercanos.
En caso de avería diríjase a su proveedor para la reparación través del Servicio Técnico
de Nahita.
Utilizar tubos resistentes a la F.C.R., comprobar que en el fondo del adaptador se
encuentran unos amortiguadores que se utilizan como antichoque.
Equilibrar la centrífuga colocando los tubos de igual peso, forma y tamaño en posicio-
nes geométricamente simétricas; si fuese necesario emplearemos tubos con agua cuando
falte alguno. Es muy importante el concepto de peso en una centrífuga por lo que es acon-
sejable disponer de una balanza para poder compensar los pesos de los distintos tubos.















Esto es absolutamente necesario pues la descompensación del rotor puede causar vibra-
ciones, que si son pequeñas pueden no notarse, produciéndose poco a poco un desgaste
de la centrífuga y de los porta tubos que aumentará la frecuencia de las roturas de los
tubos y llevará a una peor sedimentación. Es aconsejable por tanto cambiar todos los por-
tatubos al mismo tiempo.
Tenga en cuenta que los portatubos suministrados junto a la centrífuga sufren desgaste
por lo que se recomienda su sustitución cada 1.000 horas de uso aproximadamente.
No forzar nunca el paro de la centrífuga evitando así una posible mezcla de las partes
ya separadas, además de ser un riesgo de accidente y desgaste.
Cuando trabaje a velocidades superiores a 4500 r.p.m use tubos de plástico evitando de
esta manera una posible ruptura de los tubos de vidrio.
Cambio de fusible: Según modelo desenroscaremos la tapa que se encuentra en la parte
de atrás.
Para realizar el segundo cambio de escobillas, póngase en contacto con el servicio téc-
nico de Nahita. La centrifugadora necesita realizar una puesta a punto; limpieza del torno,
silentblock, etc.
Limpieza
Para la limpieza de las partes metálicas, acero inoxidable, aluminio, aleaciones, pinturas,
etc. nunca utilice estropajos o productos que puedan rallar, ya que deterioran el equipo,
limitando la vida útil de este.
Para la limpieza del equipo recomendamos se utilice un trapo libre de pelusa humedeci-
do con agua jabonosa que no contenga productos abrasivos.
Al trabajar a grandes velocidades existen posibilidad que los tubos se rompan, por lo que
el interior de la centrífuga, rotor, escobillas y portatubos etc., tienen que ser limpiados y des-
infectados con un agente desinfectante. Así como reemplazar las piezas rotas. Si no se lleva
acabo esta operación se producirán daños importantes en los diferentes componentes de la
centrífuga así como errores de análisis posteriores debido a la falta de limpieza.

Compact centrifuges, they sturdy in design and can be used for a variety of applications.
Models with mechanical regulation have head for tubes of different volumes and with
system of elastic suspension.
There are some examples of different activities in which this centrifuge is used as a tech-
nique of separation:
- Separation of serum or plasma.
- Cell concentration.
- Separation of substances.
- Biochemical laboratories.
The centrifuge is an instrument that provides a technique of separation that is based on
the movement of the particles. In this way the particles are moved towards the end of the
rotating axis depending on their different masses and shapes.
The Relative Centrifuge Force (R.C.F.) is the required force so that the separation can be
carried out. The units of this force are expressed in number of times higher than the gra-
vity (g).

The R.C.F. is calculated by means of the following
formula:
R.F.C..= 1,118 * 10-5 * r * n2
Being 1,118 * 10-5 a constant.
r = horizontal distance of the radius (in centimetres)
from the centre of rotation up to the bottom of the tube.
n = speed of rotation expressed in revolutions per
minutes (r.p.m.).

Thank you for choosing this equipment. We sincerely wish that you enjoy your analo-
gical Nahita centrifuges. We highly recommend looking after this equipment according to
what is stated in this manual.
Nahita develops its products according to the CE marking regulations as well as
emphasizing the ergonomics and security for its user.
The correct using of the equipment and its good quality will permit you to enjoy this
equipment for years.
The improper use of the equipment can cause accidents and electric discharges, circuit
breakers, fires, damages, etc. Please read the point of Maintenance, where we expose the
security notes.
Please bear in mind the following:
This manual is inseparable from the analogical centrifuges Nahita, so it should be avai-
lable for all the users of this equipment.
You should carefully handle the analogical centrifuges avoiding sudden movements,
knocks, free fall of heavy / sharp objects on it. Avoid spilling liquids inside the equipment.
Never dismantle the different pieces of the analogical centrifuges to repair it yourself,
since it could produce a defective use of the whole equipment and a loss of the product
warranty, as well as injuries on people that handle the analogical centrifuges.
To prevent fire or electric discharges avoid dry or dusty environments. In case it may
happen unplug the equipment immediately.
If you have any doubt about setting up, installation or functioning do not hesitate in
contacting your wholesaler. You can also tell us any doubts or suggestions you have by
contacting Nahita Technical Assistance Department by email to [email protected] or
by telephone: [phone] (0,30 Euros/min).
This equipment is protected under the Warranties and consumer goods regulation
(10/2003).
Overhaul is not covered by the analogical centrifuges warranty.
Operations made by non-qualified staff will automatically produce a loss of the analo-
gical centrifuges warranty.
Neither fuses (1A) nor accessories (including their loss), are covered by the product's
warranty. The warranty neither covers piece's deterioration due to the course of time.
Please make sure you keep the invoice, either for having the right to claim or asking for
warranty coverage. In case you have to send the equipment to Nahita Technical Assistance
Department you should enclose the original invoice or a copy as guarantee.
Please do not forget filling the warranty certificate and send it before 15 days after the
date of purchase.
Manufacturer reserves the right to modify or improve the manual or equipment.
