OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is intended for professional
use. Use on Alternating Current (50Hz)
only. Standard appliances are designed to
operate at 240 volts AC.
FEATURES:
This curling iron is available in 25mm
diameters. The 25 temperature settings and
fast heat technology combine to provide
styling versatility for all hair textures.
TEMPERATURE SETTING GUIDE
Temp. Setting Hair Type
Low: 1- 8 Delicate, thin, easy to
curl hair
Med.: 9-17 Normal to treated
hair
High: 18-25 Thick or wavy hair
NOTE: The red and green indicator
lights will flash until the required
temperature is reached
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
The appliance may require cleaning due to
a build up of residue from hair products.
To clean:
• Ensure the appliance is switched off,
unplugged and cool.
• Using a damp cloth and mild
detergent or soap, wipe the appliance.
Ensure the appliance has dried
thoroughly before re-using.
IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the
appliance in water or other liquids.
CURLING IRON BASICS
1. Plug the appliance into a standard
electrical outlet (240V).
2. Turn the temperature regulator dial to the
setting that is appropriate for your hair
type. The iron will heat up very quickly.
3. Section hair evenly, and comb each
section before winding. Place curling iron
midway up the hair section; then spread
hair evenly between tongue and barrel. To
avoid crimped ends, make sure they are
securely wound under the clamp in the
direction of the desired curl.
4. Wind the hair up as far as you want it
curled, being careful not to let the iron
touch the scalp. Hold in place for 8-12
seconds. For looser, free-flowing curls,
roll more hair. For tighter, bouncier curls,
roll less hair.
5. To remove curling iron, unwind the hair. To
“set” the curl, do not comb or brush hair
until it cools.
6. Some experimenting is necessary when
first using the curling iron, or when
changing to a different hair style.
CERAMIC
Your ceramic curling iron has many added
benefits. The ceramic barrel technology
provides increased heat distribution,
eliminating the damaging hot spots found
with other irons. When introduced to heat,
ceramic is known to emit ion reflectives.
Assisting in the breakdown of bacteria
build-up, the reflectives enhance and renew
the vitality of your hair. This ceramic iron will
give your hair a smooth, silky shine while
eliminating frizz.
WARNING:
The barrel will get very hot within a few
seconds and should not be placed in
contact with the skin after the curling iron
is plugged in. The special heating system
of this appliance will result in an extremely
hot barrel when a high setting is chosen.
Always do a test curl before using the
appliance to ensure the proper setting for
your hair type.
If in doubt start at a low temperature
setting and adjust upwards until the
desired results are achieved.
