certified compo e ts which serve as a basis for
completely certified devices which the i their

tially explosive areas.

Metallic enclosures for intrinsically safe facilities
do not have to be attached to an equipotential
bonding s
ystem, except if it is required by
equipment documentation.

turer’s approval is obtai ed first.
The IEC/EN60079-14 must be observed.
