The BARTEC Var ost e closures, type 07

56.1-..../....
, are available as e closures with lid
or as cabi ets with door. The e closures
serve
for the admissio of certified co
mpo e ts i
combustible ra ges. They are used for co e
c-
tio with lights, devices a d se sors.
The walls of the e closure, lid/
door a d base
co sist of several edged a d welded high

grade stai less steel of at least 1 mm (0.04
i )
thick ess.
The fla ge plates with tapped holes for the
cable a d co duit e tries are at least 3
mm
(0.12 i ) thick.
The IP protectio class is realized by
a seal i

deposits > 5 mm (> 0.2 i ) must be removed.

Assembly / disassembly

ing protective earth connection.

Metallic e closures i hazardous areas



Damage to elements due to incorrect instal-
lation dimensions.

determi ed specially.
For accommodati g use o ly compo e ts
certified for the Ex areas such as termi als,

must be take to e sure smooth opera-

Note
Metallic enclosures for intrinsically safe facilities
do not have to be attached to an equipotential
bonding s
ystem, except if it is required by
equipment documentation.
Installation
Risk of injury due to incorrect proceedings.
 Exte sio s or modificatio s to the e clo-
sure are o ly permissible if the ma ufac-
turer’s approval is obtai ed first.
 The IEC/EN60079-14 must be observed.

I stallatio s for the highly combustible ra ge
must exhibit a EEC desig i spectio certifi-
cate.
I stallatio of these compo e ts must
take place i such way, so that at least the
e closure remai s IP54.
