tion on operating and handling the device.

1. Explanation of the symbols
The following symbols are used in the user
manual or on the product:

Denotes risk of personal injury,
loss of life or damage to the tool in
case of non-observance of the

CE stands for “Conformité
Européenne”, which means “In
accordance with EU Regulations”.
With the CE marking, the
manufacturer conrms that this
Electric tool complies with the
applicable European directives.
Do not dispose of electric power
tools with domestic refuse.
2. Additional safety instructions
for heat guns
2.1 Dispose of used packaging material
carefully or store it out of the reach of
children. There is a danger of
suffocation!
2.2 Persons with limited physical, sensorial
or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the device, unless they are super-
vised and briefed for their safety by a
qualied person.
2.3 Do not leave the switched on device
unattended and keep the device out of
reach of children and persons in need
of supervision.
2.4 Only operate the device as intended and
not e.g. for igniting re, drying clothes
or other materials.
2.5 Ensure that the lighting is adequate in
the work area.
2.6 Tools get hot during operation; allow
cooling prior to handling them.
2.7 Periodically check all nuts, bolts and
other xings and tighten where
necessary.
2.8 Always switch off the heat gun after
work. Please note that the device is still
very hot. There is risk of injuries and
re!
2.9 Be careful when using the unit near
ammable or easy fusible materials
such as plastics or glass. Do not direct
the unit for long time at the same place.
Never point the running unit to people,
animals, plants, ammable objects or
liquids.
2.10 Do not use the unit in explosive
atmosphere.
2.11 Be aware that heat may be conducted
to combustible materials that are out of
sight.
2.12 Please note that poisonous gases may
be emitted while removing paint. Use
suitable inhalation protection and
ensure adequate ventilation.
2.13 Keep the air slots and the nozzle clean
to avoid overheating the unit and to
prevent from re hazard.
2.14 Use original accessory only.
2.15 Should the unit become damaged do
not use it any further and have it
repaired by a professional or contact
our customer service. Do not disassem-
ble the unit or try repairing it yourself.
3. Before rst use
Remove the machine and the accessories
from the packaging. Check the machine for
transport damage and do not use the
machine in case of damages. Keep the
