INFORMAZIONI GENERALI DI SICUREZZA
Utilizzare questa coperta elettrica solo come descritto nel presente manuale (coperta da collocare
sopra al letto oppure come un plaid, sopra alla persona). Qualsiasi altro uso non consigliato dal
costruttore può causare incendi, scosse elettriche o incidenti a persone.
Le coperte costituiscono elementi riscaldanti elettrici che devono essere impiegati con le dovute
precauzioni, per non comprometterne il funzionamento ed evitare scottature, bruciature o conse-
guenze più gravi a chi le utilizza.
Assicurarsi che il tipo di alimentazione elettrica sia conforme alle richieste elettriche della coperta
elettrica
(230V/50Hz).
Rimuovere la coperta elettrica dal suo imballo e controllare che sia in buone condizioni prima di
utilizzarla. Tenere eventuali sacchetti di plastica lontano dai bambini.
Controllare il cavo, l’interruttore e la spina prima di ogni utilizzo della coperta elettrica per essere
sicuri che non siano danneggiati.
Non utilizzare comandi diversi da quello fornito (KDA6-FT).
Questa coperta elettrica non è un giocattolo. I bambini devono essere debitamente supervisionati al
ne di assicurarsi che non giochino con essa.
Questa coperta elettrica non è destinata a persone (bambini inclusi) con ridotte capacità siche,
sensoriali o mentali, oppure senza la necessaria esperienza e conoscenza, a meno che non abbia-
no la necessaria supervisione o abbiano ricevuto la necessaria formazione per l’uso della coperta
elettrica da parte di una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza.
Non utilizzarla per bambini o persone che stanno dormendo o che siano insensibili al calore.
La coperta elettrica non deve essere lasciata accesa senza sorveglianza.
Disinserire l’alimentazione dalla rete in caso di non utilizzo o pulizia.
Questa coperta elettrica deve essere impiegata solo per uso domestico e non per uso medi-
co in ospedali.
Per disconnettere la coperta elettrica, mettere l’interruttore del comando in posizione 0 e rimuovere
la spina dalla presa. Tirare solo la spina. Non tirare il cavo quando si spegne la coperta elettrica.
Non trasportare o muovere la coperta elettrica prendendola per il cavo.
Non utilizzare la coperta elettrica in presenza di li o spine danneggiati. Se il cavo d’alimentazione è
danneggiato dovrà essere sostituito dal produttore, dal suo rivenditore o da una persona similmente
qualicata onde evitare rischi.
Non collocare nulla sul cavo e non piegare il cavo. Durante il funzionamento il cavo deve essere
completamente srotolato.
La coperta elettrica non deve essere azionata se è piegata, schiacciata o avvolta attorno ad un
materasso.
Non inserire oggetti metallici, appuntiti o taglienti nella coperta elettrica, non applicare spille.
Non utilizzarla se è umida o bagnata. Non toccarla se è bagnata, togliere immediatamente la spina.
Prima del suo riutilizzo aspettare che sia completamente asciutta.
Non lasciarla esposta a condizioni ambientali estreme (sole, pioggia e simili).
Non esporre all’umidità comandi e connettori elettrici.
I comandi, durante il funzionamento, non devono essere posti sopra o sotto la coperta elettrica né
devono essere coperti in qualsiasi altro modo. E’ bene mantenerli fuori dal letto e dal cuscino.
E’ sconsigliato l’uso di prolunghe, perché la prolunga potrebbe surriscaldarsi e provocare un rischio
di incendio.

Non utilizzare mai una singola prolunga per far funzionare più di una coperta elettrica.
Non toccare la spina o la coperta elettrica con le mani bagnate.
Non usare la coperta elettrica in ambienti polverosi o in presenza di vapori inammabili (ad esempio
in un’ofcina o in un garage).
Non posizionare la coperta elettrica sopra o in prossimità di un’altra fonte di calore.
Una coperta elettrica ha al suo interno parti che generano archi o scintille. Non utilizzarla in aree che
potrebbero essere pericolose come ad esempio aree a rischio di incendio, di esplosione, cariche di
sostanze chimiche o atmosfere cariche di umidità.
Questa coperta elettrica deve essere utilizzata sopra il letto (non tra il materasso e il lenzuolo) op-
pure come plaid, sopra alla persona.
il comando deve essere a portata di mano dell’utilizzatore, libero, sopra alla coperta, in modo da
poter essere usato agevolmente e non impedire i movimenti alla persona, mai sotto alla persona.
Porre il cavo lontano da aree trafcate o dove può essere accidentalmente estratto.
Questa coperta elettrica non può essere utilizzata nei bagni, nelle lavanderie, nelle immediate vici-
nanze di una doccia e di una piscina e in simili ambienti interni. Non collocare mai la coperta elettrica
dove può cadere in vasche o altri contenitori d’acqua.
Evitare che il cavo elettrico tocchi le parti calde quando la coperta elettrica è in funzione al ne di
evitare che il caldo rovini il cavo stesso.
Il cavo deve essere tenuto lontano da superci riscaldate.
Non utilizzare la coperta elettrica all’aperto. Non utilizzare la coperta elettrica vicino ad una nestra
aperta.
AVVERTENZA: Non utilizzare la coperta elettrica con un programmatore o qualsiasi altro
dispositivo esterno diverso dal comando a corredo che accenda la coperta elettrica automa-
ticamente, in quanto sussistono rischi di incendio.
Non cercare di riparare, smontare o modicare la coperta elettrica. La coperta non contiene parti
riparabili
dall’utilizzatore Spegnere l’interruttore ed estrarre la spina prima di fare manutenzione o muovere la
coperta elettrica . Estrarre sempre la spina quando la coperta elettrica non è in uso.
AVVERTENZA: QUANDO SI ESEGUE LA MANUTENZIONE O SI MUOVE LA COPERTA ELET-
TRICA
ESTRARRE SEMPRE LA SPINA.
Se la coperta elettrica non viene utilizzata per un lungo periodo, scollegare la spina, riporre la co-
perta nella scatola e posizionarla in luogo asciutto e ventilato.
ATTENZIONE:
L’INTERRUTTORE ON/OFF NON E’ L’UNICO MEZZO PER SCOLLEGARE L’ALIMENTAZIONE.
IN CASO DI NON UTILIZZO, SPOSTAMENTO O MANUTENZIONE DELLA COPERTA ELETTRI-
CA
ESTRARRE SEMPRE LA SPINA DALLA PRESA.
In caso di dubbi in merito ai possibili effetti sulla salute, prima di utilizzare la coperta elettrica rivol-
gersi al medico.
In caso di dolori muscolari o articolari protratti nel tempo, interrompere l’utilizzo e rivolgersi al me-
dico.

ISTRUZIONI D’USO
Il plaid elettrico Beper è concepito per essere utilizzato come coperta termica sopra al
letto oppure come plaid, da posizionare sopra alla persona, ovunque si trovi.
Non deve quindi essere collocata tra materasso e lenzuolo.
Il comando deve essere lasciato sopra alla coperta, a portata di mano dell’utilizzatore, in
modo da poter essere usato agevolmente e non impedire i movimenti della persona; non
deve mai essere sotto alla persona.
In ogni caso, seguire le seguenti istruzioni per l’utilizzo:
1. Aprire completamente la coperta: non utilizzarla piegata su se stessa, perché ciò può
arrecare danno ai tessuti.
2. Assicurarsi che la presa di corrente sia abbastanza vicina al luogo in cui sarà usata la
coperta in modo da potervi collegare il comando e da poterlo usare agevolmente, evitando
che il cavo di alimentazione possa far inciampare qualcuno.
3. Collegare il comando alla coperta attraverso gli appositi contatti.
4. Collegare il cavo di alimentazione del comando alla presa di corrente (230V/50Hz).
5. Fare attenzione che il cavo non sia attorcigliato.
6. Non utilizzare comandi diversi da quello fornito con la coperta (KDA6-FT).
7. Attivare la coperta mettendo l’interruttore laterale del comando in posizione ON: si illu-
minerà il LED
dell’alimentazione.
8. Quindi, selezionare il livello di calore agendo sul tasto selezione Temperatura (Tem-
perature set): nella fase di riscaldamento iniziale è consigliabile premere più volte il tasto
della temperatura no ad accendere tutti i 5 LED, impostando quindi la massima tempera-
tura. Occorrono circa 30 minuti per raggiungere la massima temperatura.
9. Quando la coperta raggiunge il livello di calore desiderato, regolare il livello di tempe-
ratura impostato agendo sul tasto Temperatura con pressioni successive, che faranno
illuminare via via un numero diverso di LED.

La tabella (Fig. 2) indica la corrispondenza tra il numero di pressioni del tasto, il numero
di LED accesi e il livello di calore impostato.
Per prevenire ogni rischio di surriscaldamento della coperta, il sistema di protezio-
ne di cui è dotato il plaid elettrico Beper riporta il livello di calore automaticamente
al minimo dopo 1 ora di funzionamento al massimo.
10. Il comando KDA6-FT è dotato anche di timer funzionamento (tasto Time set), che con-
sente di impostare il numero di ore di funzionamento della coperta, no ad un massimo
di 8.
Per impostare il numero di ore desiderato, premere ripetutamente il tasto 3 e vericare il
numero di ore totali segnate in corrispondenza dei LED che via via si illuminano.
Per esempio, se si preme il tasto timer per 3 volte, si impostano 3 ore di funzionamento:
infatti si illuminano 2 LED, 1 in corrispondenza di 1h e il secondo in corrispondenza di 2h:
ciò signica quindi che la coperta funzionerà per (1h+2h), cioè per un totale di 3 ore.
La tabella (Fig. 3) mostra la corrispondenza tra il numero di pressioni del tasto Time set
ed il numero di ore impostate.
PER ANNULLARE TUTTE LE IMPOSTAZIONI, sia timer che temperatura, PREMERE
IL TASTO CANCEL.
Quindi, si proceda dall’inizio con le nuove impostazioni.
N.B.
SE LE SPIE LUMINOSE (LED) LAMPEGGIANO, ASSICURARSI CHE IL COMANDO
SIA CORRETTAMENTE COLLEGATO ALLA COPERTA.
PREMERE IL TASTO CANCEL PER ELIMINARE IL LAMPEGGIARE DEI LED, QUINDI
RIPRISTINARE LE IMPOSTAZIONI DESIDERATE.
SE NON È POSSIBILE ANNULLARE IL LAMPEGGIARE DEI LED, SI CONSIGLIA DI
DISCONNETTERE LA COPERTA DALLA PRESA ELETTRICA E DI CONTROLLARE
CHE IL CAVO NON SIA DANNEGGIATO.

SE I LED CONTINUANO A LAMPEGGIARE, NON UTILIZZARE LA COPERTA E POR-
TARLA IN UN CENTRO QUALIFICATO PER UN CONTROLLO.
ATTENZIONE
Quando si prevede di utilizzare la coperta per un lungo periodo è opportuno
mettere il comando sul livello minimo.
Al termine dell’utilizzo, estrarre sempre la spina dalla presa.
Il costruttore non risponde per eventuali danni a cose e/o persone causati da una
errato utilizzo della coperta elettrica.
PULIZIA
Rispettare le istruzioni indicate nel manuale e sull’etichetta della coperta.
Il mancato rispetto può danneggiare irrimediabilmente la coperta elettrica e costituire pe-
ricolo per chi la sta maneggiando.
Rimuovere sempre la spina dalla presa e lasciare che la coperta elettrica si raffreddi prima
di pulirla, piegarla o riporla.
Non raffreddarla forzatamente con qualsiasi mezzo, liquido o gassoso.
Se la coperta è pulita potete riporla nella scatola originale e conservarla in un luogo asciut-
to.
Per pulire la coperta elettrica usare un panno umido, oppure acqua e detergente delicato.
Lasciare che si asciughi prima di utilizzarla o di ritirarla.
Non lavarla a secco. Il lavaggio a secco potrebbe danneggiare gli elementi riscaldanti.
Non utilizzare solventi industriali come benzene, kerosene o solventi simili.
Non trattare con cloro.
E’ possibile lavare la coperta elettrica anche in lavatrice, utilizzando programmi delicati,
con temperatura massima di 40° e detergenti neutri. Tuttavia il lavaggio/la pulizia a mano
prolungherà la vita della coperta elettrica.
Per lavarla in lavatrice, scollegare il comando e mettere la coperta elettrica in un sacco a
rete chiuso.
I comandi non vanno mai immersi in acqua.
Una volta lavata la coperta elettrica toglierla dal sacchetto di rete e stendetela ben aperta.
Non utilizzare mollette per appenderla.
Non metterla in asciugatrice.
Non stirarla.
Non accenderla per asciugarla, ma lasciarla asciugare naturalmente.
Non asciugarla con l’asciugacapelli.
Non utilizzare la coperta elettrica mentre è umida o bagnata.
Dopo ogni lavaggio esaminare attentamente la coperta elettrica: se ci sono dubbi su un
eventuale danneggiamento, non utilizzarla e portarla al centro assistenza per un controllo.
Il costruttore non risponde per eventuali danni a cose e/o persone causati da un’errata
manutenzione, pulizia o lavaggio.

MANUTENZIONE
Nei periodi di non utilizzo, conservare la coperta elettrica nella scatola originale insieme a
questo manuale in luogo fresco ed asciutto. Non ritirare mai la coperta elettrica quando è
ancora calda. Attendete sempre che si raffreddi.

In un’ottica di miglioramento continuo Beper si riserva la facoltà di apportare modi-
che e migliorie al prodotto in oggetto senza previo preavviso.
TRATTAMENTO DEI RIFIUTI DELLE APPARECCHIATURE ELETTRICHE ED ELETTRONICHE
Il prodotto al termine del suo ciclo di vita deve essere smaltito seguendo le norme vigenti relative allo smaltimen-
to differenziato e non può essere trattato come un semplice riuto urbano.
Il prodotto deve essere smaltito presso i centri di raccolta dedicati o deve essere restituito al rivenditore nel caso
si voglia sostituire il prodotto con un altro equivalente nuovo.
Il costruttore si farà carico delle spese necessarie allo smaltimento del prodotto secondo quanto prescritto dalla
legge.
Il prodotto è composto da parti non biodegradabili e sostanze che possono inquinare l’ambiente circostante se
non opportunamente smaltite. Inoltre parte di questi materiali possono essere riciclati evitando l’inquinamento
dell’ambiente. E’ vostro e nostro dovere contribuire alla salute dell’ambiente.
Il simbolo indica che il prodotto risponde ai requisiti richiesti dalle nuove direttive introdotte a tutela del
l’ambiente (2011/65/EU) e che deve essere smaltito in modo appropriato al termine del suo ciclo di vita.
Chiedere informazioni alle autorità locali in merito alle zone dedicate allo smaltimento dei riuti.
Chi non smaltisce il prodotto seguendo quanto indicato in questo paragrafo ne risponde secondo le norme
vigenti.

CERTIFICATO DI GARANZIA
Questo apparecchio è stato controllato in fabbrica. La garanzia di applicazione è valida
24 mesi dalla data di acquisto per difetti di materiale o di fabbricazione. Lo scontrino di
acquisto e il certicato di garanzia si devono presentare assieme nel caso di reclami.
Se l’apparecchio dovesse richiedere assistenza tecnica rivolgersi al venditore o presso
la nostra sede. Questo per conservare inalterata l’efcienza del vostro apparecchio e per
NON invalidare la garanzia. Eventuali manomissioni dell’apparecchio da parte di perso-
nale non autorizzato invalideranno automaticamente la garanzia.
Condizioni di garanzia
Se ci sono guasti a causa di difetti di materiale e/o fabbricazione durante il periodo di ga-
ranzia, garantiamo la riparazione del prodotto gratuitamente, a patto che:
- l’apparecchio sia stato usato in modo corretto ed ai ni per cui è stato costruito;
- l’apparecchio sia stato riparato da esperti, cioè da persone incaricate dal fornitore;
- venga presentato lo scontrino;
- non rientrano in garanzia le parti che dimostrano un normale logoramento.
Sono quindi escluse tutte le parti che hanno subito rotture accidentali o che sono soggette
ad usura (tra le quali lampade, batterie, resistenze) e difetti derivanti da un utilizzo non
domestico dell’apparecchio, negligenza nell’uso o nella manutenzione, danni da trasporto
e tutti quei danni non imputabili direttamente al produttore.
Se entro il periodo di garanzia emerge un difetto che non può essere riparato, l’apparec-
chio viene cambiato gratuitamente.

Anche dopo il periodo di garanzia prestiamo molta attenzione alle riparazioni.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
Use this electric blanket only as described in this manual (laid over the bed or as a shawl,
over the user). Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause re,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
Overblankets constitute electric heating elements that must be used with care, to avoid
impairing their operation and to prevent sores, burns or more serious consequences for
users.
Ensure that the type of mains power complies with the electrical requirements of the electric
overblanket (230V/50Hz).
Remove the electric overblanket from its packaging and check that it is in good condition before use.
Keep any plastic bags out of reach of children.
Check the cord, switch and plug before using the electric overblanket to verify that they are not
damaged.
Do not use any control other than that supplied (KDA6-FT).
This electric overblanket is not a toy. Children should be adequately supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the overblanket.
This electric overblanket is not suitable for use by persons (including children) with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental abilities, or without the necessary experience and knowledge, unless they
are adequately supervised and have been instructed concerning use of the electric overblanket by
a person responsible for their safety.
Do not use the overblanket on children or people who are asleep or who are insensitive to heat.
The electric overblanket must not be left unattended while turned on.
Disconnect the mains power when the overblanket is not used or for cleaning operations.
This electric blanket is designed for domestic use and may not be used in hospitals. The
electric underblanket is not designed for use in hospitals.
To disconnect the electric overblanket, slide the control switch to 0 and remove the plug from the
socket. Pull on the plug only. Do not pull on the cord when turning off the electric overblanket.
Do not carry or move the electric overblanket by gripping the cord.
Do not use the electric overblanket if the cord or plug is damaged. If the power cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer, dealer or a similarly qualied person so as to avoid any
safety risks.
Do not place any objects on the cord and do not bend it. During operation, the cord must be entirely
unwound.
The electric overblanket must not be operated if it is bent, crushed or wrapped around a mattress.
Do not insert metal, pointed or sharp objects in the electric overblanket and do not apply safety pins.
The overblanket must not be operated if it is bent, compressed or wrapped around a mattress.
Do not use the overblanket if it is damp or wet. Do not touch the wet overblanket - pull out the plug
immediately. Wait until the overblanket dries completely before reusing it.
Do not expose the overblanket to extreme climatic conditions (sun, rain or similar).
Do not expose the controls or electric connectors to humidity.
During operation, the controls must not be placed above or below the electric overblanket and must
not be covered in any other way. The controls should be kept outside the bed and away from the
pillow.

It is not advisable to use extension cords, as these may overheat and cause the risk of re. Do not
use a single extension cord to operate more than one electric overblanket.
Do not touch the plug or electric overblanket with wet hands.
Avoid using the electric overblanket in dusty environments or in the presence of ammable vapours
(e.g. in workshops or garages).
Do not place the electric overblanket above or near another heat source.
An electric overblanket contains parts that generate arcs or sparks. Do not use the underblanket
in potentially dangerous areas such as areas at risk of re or explosion, or environments lled with
chemical substances or humidity.
This electric blanket must be used over the bed (not between the mattress and bedsheet) or as a
shawl, over the user.
The control must be within the user’s reach, free, on top of the blanket itself, for ease of use without
impeding the user’s movements, and never underneath the user.
Place the power cord far away from busy areas or places where it can be accidentally pulled-out.
This electric overblanket cannot be used in bathrooms, laundry rooms, next to a shower or swim-
ming pool or in similar indoor environments. Never position the electric overblanket where it may fall
into a bath or other containers lled with water.
Do not allow the power cord to touch the hot parts when the electric overblanket is in operation, in
order to prevent the heat from damaging the cord.
The cord must be kept far away from heated surfaces.
Do not operate the electric overblanket outdoors. Do not operate the electric overblanket next to an
open window.
WARNING: do not operate the electric overblanket with an programmer or any external other
device different from its control (KDA6-FT) that automatically turns on the overblanket, as
this may cause the risk of re.
Do not attempt to repair, dismantle or modify the electric overblanket. The overblanket does not
contain parts that can be repaired by the user.
Turn the switch off and remove the plug before carrying out any maintenance work or moving the
electric overblanket.
Always remove the plug from the socket when the electric overblanket is not in use.
WARNING: ALWAYS REMOVE THE PLUG WHEN CARRYING OUT MAINTENANCE WORK OR
MOVING THE ELECTRIC OVERBLANKET.
If the electric overblanket is not used for prolonged periods, remove the plug, replace the overblan-
ket in its box and store it in a dry, ventilated place.
WARNING:
THE ON/OFF SWITCH IS NOT THE ONLY METHOD OF DISCONNECTING THE MAINS POWER.
ALWAYS PULL OUT THE PLUG FROM THE SOCKET IN THE EVENT OF MAINTENANCE OPE-
RATIONS, WHEN MOVING THE ELECTRIC OVERBLANKET OR WHEN IT IS NOT USED.
Consult a doctor before using the electric overblanket when in doubt as to its possible effects on
health.
In the event of prolonged pain affecting the muscles or joints, interrupt use and consult a doctor.

HOW TO USE THE ELECTRIC OVERBLANKET
Beper plaid is designed for use as a heating blanket placed over the bed or as a shawl for
personal use in any location.
It may not be placed between the mattress and bedsheet.
The control must be within the user’s reach, on top of the blanket itself, for ease of use
without impeding the user’s movements, and never underneath the user.
1. Unfold the blanket completely: when folded on itself, as this may damage the fabrics.
2. Make sure the power socket is close enough to the position in which the blanket is to be
used to enable the control to be hooked up and used conveniently, and without the power
cord being a hazard (risk of persons tripping over it).
3. Connect the control to the blanket through the appropriate contact.
4. Connect the power cord to the socket (230V/50Hz).
5. Make sure that the cord is not twisted.
6. Do not use any control other than that supplied (KDA6-FT).
7. Switch the blanket on by setting the control’s side switch to ON: the power led will light
up.
8. Now, set the temperature with the Temperature key (Temperature set): during initial
warming it is best to press the key repeatedly until all 5 leds are lit up, indicating maximum
temperature. It takes the blanket around 30 minutes to reach its maximum temperature.
9. When the blanket reaches the desired temperature, adjust the temperature with the
temperature key by pressing it repeatedly to light up a different number of leds.

The table (Fig. 2) indicates how many presses of the key correspond to a certain number
of leds and hence temperature level.
To prevent the blanket overheating, the Beper plaid is equipped with a safety sy-
stem which automatically returns it to its minimum setting after at most 1 hour of
operation.
10. The KDA6-FT control is also equipped with a timer (Time set key), which sets the
hours of operation of the blanket up to a maximum of 8 hours. To set the hours of opera-
tion, press button 3 repeatedly and check the number of hours by reading the leds as they
light up.
For example, pressing the time set key 3 times sets 3 hours of operation: 2 leds light up,
1 for the rst hour and the second for the following two hours: in other words, the blanket
will operate for (1h+2h), a total of 3 hours.
The table (Fig. 3) shows the correspondence between the number of presses of the time
set key and the number of hours of operation.
TO CANCEL ALL THE TIMER AND TEMPERATURE SETTINGS, PRESS THE CANCEL
KEY.
Now you can make new settings as desired.
N.B.
IF THE LEDS ARE FLASHING, CHECK THAT THE CONTROL IS PROPERLY CON-
NECTED TO THE BLANKET.
PRESS THE CANCEL KEY TO STOP THE LEDS FLASHING, THEN MAKE THE SET-
TINGS AS DESIRED.
IF THE LEDS DO NOT STOP FLASHING, DISCONNECT THE BLANKET FROM THE
POWER SOCKET AND CHECK ITS POWER CORD FOR DAMAGE.

IF THE LEDS KEEP ON FLASHING, STOP USING THE BLANKET AND HAVE IT CHE-
CKED OVER BY A QUALIFIED SERVICE CENTRE.
IMPORTANT - If you intend to use the blanket for a long period of time, set the con-
trol to its minimum settings.
HOW TO CLEAN THE ELECTRIC BLANKET
Comply with the instructions indicated in the manual and on the blanket’s label.
Failure to observe these instructions may irreparably damage the electric blanket and
constitute a hazard for those handling the blanket.
Always remove the plug from the socket and leave the electric blanket to cool before cle-
aning, folding or storing it.
Do not cool the blanket unnaturally with any means, whether liquid or gaseous.
If the blanket is clean, it can be placed in its original box and stored in a dry place.
Clean the electric blanket with the aid of a damp cloth, or with water and a delicate deter-
gent. Leave to dry before using it or putting it away.
Do not dry clean. Dry cleaning may damage the heating elements.
Do not use industrial solvents such as benzene, kerosene or similar solvents.
Do not bleach.
The electric blanket can also be machine-washed using delicate programmes, at a ma-
ximum temperature of 40° with the aid of neutral detergents. However, hand-washing/
cleaning prolongs the life of the electric blanket.
For washing the blanket in the washing machine, disconnect the control and place the
electric blanket in a closed mesh bag.
The controls must never be immersed in water.
After washing is completed, remove the electric blanket from the mesh bag and hang it to
dry while fully open. Do not use pegs to hang it.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not switch the blanket on to dry it - leave it to dry naturally.
Do not dry the blanket with a hair dryer.
Do not operate the electric blanket while it is damp or wet.
Carefully inspect the electric blanket after each wash: if you suspect it may be damaged,
avoid using it and bring it to the technical assistance centre for a check-up.
The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damage to objects and/or harm to per-
sons caused by incorrect maintenance, cleaning or washing.

HOW TO STORE THE ELECTRIC UNDERBLANKET
If the electric blanket is not used for prolonged periods, it must be stored together with
this manual in its original box, in a cool and dry place. Never put the electric blanket away
while it is still hot. Always wait for it to cool down.

Guarantee conditions
If the appliance shows defects as a result of faulty material and/or production during the period of

- The appliance has been used properly and for the purpose for which it has been intended.
- Repairs are professionally carried out by qualied persons who are appointed by the supplier.
- The purchase receipt shall be presented.
- The appliance showing a fair wear and tear shall not be covered by this guarantee.
Therefore, any part that could be accidentally broken or having visible signs of use in consuma-

any defect whatsoever resulting from non-respect of the rules for use, negligence in usage and/or
maintenance of the appliance, damage during transport and any other damage not attributable the

For every defect that could not be repaired within the guarantee period, the appliance will be repla-

PRECAUTIONS GENERALES
LIRE ATTENTIVEMENT LES INSTRUCTIONS SUIVANTES AVANT LA PREMIERE UTILISATION
DE L’APPAREIL.
Avant et durant l’utilisation de cet appareil il est nécessaire de suivre précautions élémentaires
suivantes.
Après avoir enlever l’emballage, s’assurer de l’intégrité de l’appareil. En cas de doute ne
pas utiliser l’appareil et s’adresser à un professionnel qualié. Les éléments d’emballage
(sachets plastique, polystyrène, etc.) ne doivent pas être laissés à la portée des enfants,
car potentiellement dangereux.
Il est recommandé de ne pas jeter les éléments d’emballage dans les déchets ménagers,
mais de les déposer dans les centres de traitement des déchets appropriés, en deman-
dant éventuellement conseil au gérant du centre de sa commune de résidence.
Toujours s’assurer que la tension électrique soit la même que celle indiquée sur l’étiquette
des données techniques et que le réseau électrique soit compatible avec la puissance de
l’appareil.
En cas d’incompatibilité entre la prise électrique murale et celle de l’appareil faire changer
la prise de l’appareil par un professionnel qualié. Ce dernier devra s’assurer que la sec-
tion des câbles de la prise soit adaptée à la puissance absorbée par l’appareil.
Ne jamais tirer sur le câble d’alimentation pour débrancher la prise électrique.
S’assurer que le câble n’entre pas en contact avec des supercies chaudes ou coupantes.
Ne pas utiliser l’appareil si le câble d’alimentation est abîmé.
Si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé, pour éviter tout risque, il devra être substitué par le con-
structeur, par son service d’assistance technique ou toute autre personne de même qualication.
Brancher l’appareil exclusivement sur une prise de courant alterné.
Il est en général déconseiller d’utiliser des adaptateurs, prises multiples et/ou rallonges. En cas de
nécessité, utiliser seulement des adaptateurs ou rallonges conformes aux normes de sécurité en
vigueur.
Cet appareil ne devra être utilisé que pour l’usage pour lequel il a été conçu.
Tout autre usage sera considéré comme inapproprié et donc dangereux, et engendrera l’annulation
de la garantie. Le constructeur ne peut être tenu pour responsable en cas de dommages causés par

TRAITEMENT DES DECHETS DES APPAREILS ELECTRIQUES

Le produit en n de vie doit être détruit selon les normes en vigueur relatives à
l’élimination des déchets et ne peut être traité comme simple déchet ménagé.
Le produit doit être détruit dans un centre d’élimination des déchets adapté ou
être restitué au revendeur dans le cas d’une substitution avec un autre produit
équivalent neuf.
Le fabricant prendra à sa charge les frais occasionnés pour la destruction du
produit selon les termes de la loi en vigeur.
Le produit est composé de pièces non biodégradables et substances qui peu-
vent polluer l’environnement si détruites de façon inapropriée . Par ailleurs, cer-
taines parties de ces matières peuvent être recyclées évitant ainsi toute pollu-
