Replacing Battery
Please install the battery before using the device.
Remove the battery compartment cover, Please insert the
positive and negative pole
of AAA Alkaline battery into
the right place. and then
close the battery
compartment cover.

Setting device
After installing the battery,
the screen will turn on
automatically, then you
should set the the local
city, date and time of the
device.

Input the rst letter or
preceding letters of the
city's English name in
setting screen of local city,
and press /
key to
choose the right city in
the column, and press
ENTER key to comrm.

Press numeric key in setting screen of date to set year/
month/day.
Setting the time

In setting screen of time, press / key to switch
among hour, minut, am/pm, press / key to set,

ESC to quit.


1 The power is insufcient when just charged, this means
the battery is no longer useable. Please get a new one.
2 Personal data will be retained even if the device is out
of power. Please turn the device off rst, and then take
out the battery 3 seconds later.Otherwise, data may be
displayed incorrectly.

  • Write on the handwriting board
by stylus.   

Radical Strokes
  • Input the number of strokes, press or to view
the standby radical stokes, and press numeric keys
to choose.
  • Input the remaining number of strokes, press or
to view the standby words, and press numeric
keys to choose. 
Total Strokes
  • Input the number of total strokes, press or to
view the standby words, and press numeric keys to
choose.
Main Menu
Provides ve types of main menus: DICT, STUDY, CALC,
TIME, SYS.
• Press MENU to return to the main menu.
• Press
/ key to switch the type of main menu.
• Press the ENTER key or numeric and letter key to access
to the corresponding function items of main menu. You
also can press / / / key to choose the items
of menu, press ENTER to access to the applications.

  • Press letter key to input English words.
Word Searching
Take The Standard Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese
as an example to illustrate the method of searching a word.
• Words in alphabetical order in the index screen.
• If you know clearly the word's spelling, you could input
the word and press ENTER key to search.
• If you are not sure of a word's spelling, you could use
Wildcard Search. Input all the letters you know, and then
replace the unknown letters with "?" or "*". "?" stands for
an unknown letter. "*" stands for a string of unknown
letters.
• You can corss search the words in explanation screen:
press to mark the word, press 3 Mark with / /
/ to highlight the words from the marked word,
press 1key to view the explanation of highlighted words.
• Press to adjust the font size.
• Press 5 History to view the history of searching.

Chinese Learning
Provides some functions of Chinese learning, such as:
PinYin, strokes, standard radicals, characters structure,
punctuation mark, Chinese classier.
PinYin Learning

press ENTER key to access to the search screen.
• Input PinYin in search screen, and press ENTER key to
access to the PinYin learning screen.

CALC menu includs functions of Di Zi Gui, San Zi Jing,

• Press / key to page up/down to view the content.

to view comment of content, press

• Press 4 Chp to selected chapters.
• You can highlight the vocabulary to search the
explanation and view the strokes demo.

TIME

Time menu includs functions of World Time, Timer,
Stopwatch and Calendar.
• World Time
View and set time and date.
• Timer Timer is a Countdown tool.
•
Press / to access to the time adjustment of status,
press / to adjus hours, minutes, seconds. After
adjustment, press
1to start the countdown.
• Stopwatch
Press
1to begin timing.
• Calendar Provides comparison of the lunar calendar
and the solar calendar from 1901 to 2099. Press /
key to set the year, press / to set the month, press
/ to set the day.

Device Settings
Time & Date Our device's initialized time is 2088/08/08
8:08am. If you want to change this setting,
you can open the [World Time] window,
and then choose [Set Time].
Volume You can press SHIFT +SAVE to set up the
volume, speed.
Contrast
Adjust the contrast in SYS > LCD Setting
Auto Power
Off
Our device's initialized auto power off
time is "ve minutes later power off
automatically". If you want to change
this setting, please open the [Power
Management].
Battery Check the battery capacity in SYS >
Battery Capacity
Handwrite
penup time
The initialized handwrite penup time is 1.2
seconds. You can set up in the
[Handwriting Setting].
Attention
Touch Panel & Display To protect the screen from being
scratched, use only the stylus that comes with this product.
When cleaning, rub the screen lightly with dry, clean and
soft cloth (do not use volatile liquid). The screen may crack
if the product falls on the ground.
Battery Keep the battery far from the re. Otherwise,
there is a risk of explosion. Do not connect the battery’s
terminals together to avoid short circuit.

Earphone The sound volume of the earphone should be not
too high so as not to injure your hearing.
Non Waterproof The device is non waterproof. Please
keep it away from any liquid. If it gets wet, please dry the
surface and send to our service center for checking.
Magnetism The product is magnetic. Please do not place
it with other magnetic products to avoid losing some
functions.
Maintenance
• Keep it dry. Precipitation, humidity and liquid that
contains minerals will corrode electronic circuits.
• Do not use or store it in dusty, dirty areas as its
detachable parts may be damaged.
• Do not store it in hot areas. High temperatures can
shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries,
and melt certain plastics.
• Do not store it in cold areas. When the device warms up,
moisture can form inside it, which may damage electronic
circuit boards.
• Do not attempt to take the device apart. Improper
handling may damage the device.
• Do not drop, knock or shake it. Improper handling may

cause damage to the liquid crystal panel.
• Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or
strong detergents to clean the device.
• Do not paint it. Paint can clog the device's detachable
parts and cause it to malfunction.
• Do not operate the device below the temperature 0 or
over 40 degrees. Excessive heat or cold will cause
malfunction and incur damage to the device. To avoid
such from happening, please do not use the device for
two hours after it has been exposed to excess heat or
cold, because the humidity or moisture formed by the
temperature changing will cause damage to the device.
We are obliged to charge user maintenance fee if
the product is damaged due to liquid percolation, improper
placement of the product (such as eroder by moths), or
breakage on the screen (such as screen scratching or
breaking) such man-made damages.
