DEAR CUSTOMER,
Congratulations on your purchase of the BONECO F500.
This high-performance fan seamlessly adapts to meet
your needs. When set to the lower fan levels, it provides a
gentle, pleasant breeze in your home. On the other hand,
if you use an air-conditioning system, the unit's powerful
fans distribute the cooled air throughout the living room,
which enables a uniform temperature to be reached.
Thanks to the integrated automatic timer, the BONECO
F500 starts working while you are still on the way home.
This means you can always come home to an optimal
living climate.

Tilt the fan into the desired position.
Use the and buttons to control the strength of
the fan.
Place the BONECO F500 on a firm surface.
Press the button to switch on the BONECO F500.

REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control is included in the BONECO F500
scope of delivery. The buttons and functions are identical
to those on the appliance. As a result, remote operation
is no different from manual operation using the buttons
on the appliance.

TIMER FUNCTION
The timer function lets you determine how long the
BONECO F500 should run before it switches off automa-
tically (OFF timer).
Alternatively, you can specify a time for when the appli-
ance should switch on automatically (ON timer). Use this
function to achieve an optimal mix of air in air-conditioned
rooms before arriving home.
The maximum duration of the timer is 15 hours.
The time can be increased in increments of 0.5 hours
to achieve a duration of up to 3 hours. At this point, the
intervals increase to a full hour.
SETTING THE OFF TIMER
1. Switch on the BONECO F500 using the button.
2. Select the desired fan level using the and but-
tons.
3. Press the button several times until the desired
time for the OFF timer is displayed (max. 15 hours).
While the timer is being changed, the symbol lights
up in the display.
The appliance runs for the specified period and then swit-
ches itself off.
4. To deactivate the timer prematurely, switch off the
BONECO F500 using the button.
SETTING THE ON TIMER
1. Select the desired fan level using the and but-
tons.
2. Switch off the BONECO F500 using the button.
3. Press the button several times until the desired
time for the ON timer is displayed (max. 15 hours).
While the timer is being changed, the symbol lights
up in the display.
The BONECO F500 shows the selected fan level and the
remaining time until it is activated on the display in al-
ternation.
4. To deactivate the ON timer prematurely, press the
button once.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always unplug the BONECO F500 before you start
cleaning it! Failure to do so can result in electric
shock and fatal injury!
Do not use alcohol or corrosive cleaning agents for
cleaning.
CLEANING THE HOUSING
The BONECO F500 is designed for maintenance-free
operation, even when used over many years. In most ca-
ses, a dry cloth can be used for cleaning.
If stubborn dirt is present, clean the housing using a damp
cloth. Add a small amount of dishwashing detergent to
the water. Household cloths and window cleaners can
also be used.
CLEANING THE FAN BLADES
1. Unscrew the safety screw on the top part of the pro-
tective screen.
2. Rotate the protective screen slightly to the left and
remove it.
3. Clean the fan blades with a damp cloth or sponge.
4. Insert the protective screen and secure it with the sa-
fety screw.

NOTES ON PERFORMANCE
The BONECO F500 is equipped with a high-performance
fan that can move large quantities of air. Making use of
this feature: Move the air in a specific direction to achieve
a uniform room climate. The following examples illustrate
how you can do this.
ROOMS WITH HIGH CEILINGS
In air-conditioned rooms with high ceilings, the cold air
sinks to the floor while the warm air rises to the ceiling.
Point the BONECO F500 upwards to circulate the air and
achieve a uniform room climate.
FRESH AIR
The BONECO F500 helps you achieve better ventilation
indoors. If cross-ventilation does not build up, guide the
fresh air into the room from the window.
MULTIPLE FLOORS
In the summer, it can become uncomfortably hot and
muggy on the upper floors. The powerful fan of the
BONECO F500 moves the cool air from the ground floor to
the upper floors so that a uniform temperature is achieved.
AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM
Most air-conditioning systems are stationary. This me-
ans that the temperatures will vary in different parts of
the room. Use the BONECO F500 to move the warmer air
towards the air-conditioning system. This can be done
directly or indirectly via air circulation, as shown in this
image.

pareil. Les manipulations sont donc les mêmes avec la
télécommande qu’avec les boutons de l’appareil.

FONCTION MINUTERIE
Grâce à la fonction minuterie, vous pouvez définir com-
bien de temps le BONECO F500 doit fonctionner avant de
s’arrêter automatiquement (minuterie d’arrêt).
Vous pouvez également définir après combien de temps
l’appareil doit s’allumer automatiquement (minuterie de
mise en marche). Cette fonction peut vous permettre par
exemple d’obtenir une répartition optimale de l’air dans
les pièces climatisées avant de rentrer chez vous.
La durée maximale de la minuterie est de 15 heures.
Le temps peut être augmenté de 30 minutes jusqu’à une
durée de 3 heures. Ensuite, la durée peut être augmentée
d’heure en heure.
RÉGLAGE DE LA MINUTERIE D’ARRÊT
1. Allumez le BONECO F500 avec le bouton .
2. Choisissez le niveau de ventilation souhaité avec les
boutons et .
3. Appuyez plusieurs fois sur le bouton jusqu’à ce que
la durée souhaitée s’affiche pour la minuterie d’arrêt
(15 heures max.). Le symbole s’affiche sur l’écran
pendant le réglage de la minuterie.
L’appareil fonctionne pendant la durée définie, puis
s’éteint.
4. Pour désactiver la minuterie avant la fin, éteignez le
BONECO F500 avec le bouton .
RÉGLAGE DE LA MINUTERIE DE MISE EN MARCHE
1. Choisissez le niveau de ventilation souhaité avec les
boutons et .
2. Éteignez le BONECO F500 avec le bouton .
3. Appuyez plusieurs fois sur le bouton jusqu’à ce que
la durée souhaitée s’affiche pour la minuterie de mise
en marche (15 heures max.). Le symbole s’affiche
sur l’écran pendant le réglage de la minuterie.
L’écran du BONECO F500 affiche alternativement le
niveau de ventilation choisi et le temps restant jusqu’à
l’activation.
4. Pour désactiver la minuterie de mise en marche avant
la fin, appuyez une fois sur le bouton .

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Débranchez toujours le BONECO F500 avant de pro-
céder au nettoyage ! Le non-respect de cette
consigne peut causer un choc électrique et repré-
senter un danger de mort !
Pour le nettoyage, n’utilisez pas d’alcool ou de dé-
tergent agressif.
NETTOYAGE DU BOÎTIER
Le BONECO F500 est conçu de telle sorte qu’il ne néces-
site aucun entretien particulier – même après des années
d’utilisation. Généralement, un chiffon sec suffit pour le
nettoyage.
En cas de saleté tenace, nettoyez le boîtier avec un chif-
fon humide. Ajoutez un peu de liquide vaisselle à l’eau.
Vous pouvez également utiliser un chiffon multi-usages
avec du produit lave-vitres.
NETTOYAGE DES PALES DU VENTILATEUR
1. Désserrez la vis de sécurité sur la partie supérieure de
la grille de protection.
2. Faites pivoter la grille de protection légèrement vers la
gauche et enlevez-la.
3. Nettoyez les pales du ventilateur avec un chiffon hu-
mide ou une éponge.
4. Remettez la grille de protection en place et fixez-la
avec la vis de sécurité.

EXPLICATIONS CONCERNANT LA PUISSANCE DE
L’APPAREIL
Le BONECO F500 est doté d’un souffleur ultra-puissant
capable de déplacer d’importants volumes d’air. Utilisez
ce potentiel : poussez l’air dans une direction donnée
pour créer une température ambiante homogène. Voici
quelques exemples dont vous pouvez vous inspirer.
GRANDES HAUTEURS SOUS PLAFOND
Dans les pièces climatisées avec une grande hauteur
sous plafond, l’air froid descend, tandis que l’air chaud
monte. Placez le BONECO F500 à la verticale, dirigé vers
le haut, afin de créer un tourbillon dans l’air et d’obtenir
une température ambiante homogène.
AIR FRAIS
Le BONECO F500 vous aide à mieux aérer les pièces de
votre habitation. Si vous n’avez pas la possibilité de créer
un courant d’air, dirigez l’air frais de la fenêtre directe-
ment dans la pièce.
PLUSIEURS ÉTAGES
En été, il peut faire très chaud et l’atmosphère peut de-
venir suffocante dans les étages supérieurs. Le puissant
souffleur du BONECO F500 déplace l’air frais de l’étage
inférieur vers le haut afin d’équilibrer la température.
CLIMATISEUR
En général, un climatiseur est fixe,la température n’est donc
pas la même dans toute l’habitation. Utilisez le BONECO
F500 pour déplacer l’air chaud en direction du climatiseur.
Vous pouvez le faire directement ou bien en faisant circuler
l’air dans la pièce comme indiqué sur l’illustration.
