GmbH. Bitte lesen Sie die vorliegende Gebrauchsanweisung
sorgfältig durch. Bei Fragen wenden Sie sich an Ihren Arzt oder
Fachhandel von dem Sie dieses Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um Kompressions-
strümpfe zur Langzeittherapie von phlebologischen und/oder
lymphologischen Erkrankungen sowie zur Langzeittherapie
eines Lipödems.
Indikationen
CCL 1:
Schädigung der venösen/lymphatischen Gefäßfunktion/-struktur
am Unter- und Oberarm (z.B. geringe Varikose, postoperativ/
posttraumatisch, Stauung durch Immobilisierung, Lymphödem)
mit leicht ausgeprägter Schwellneigung, leichtem Ödemrisiko,
Schweregefühl, zur Ödemreduktion, Beschwerde- und Schmerz-
linderung.
CCL 2:
Schädigung der venösen/lymphatischen Gefäßfunktion/-struktur
am Unter- und Oberarm (z.B. Varikose, nach Thrombophlebitis,
akute Thrombose, Lymphödem) mit mäßig ausgeprägter
Schwellneigung, Ödem, zur Ödemreduktion, Beschwerde- und
Schmerzlinderung.
CCL 3:
Schädigung der venösen/lymphatischen Gefäßfunktion/-
struktur am Unter- und Oberarm (z.B. akute Thrombose,
postthrombotische Insuzienz, Lymphödem ab Stadium II) mit
erheblich ausgeprägter Schwellneigung, Ödem, gegebenenfalls
Hautveränderung, zur Ödemreduktion, Beschwerde- und
Schmerzlinderung.
Kontraindikationen
Absolute Kontraindikationen:
Fortgeschrittene periphere arterielle Verschlusskrankheit,
dekompensierte Herzinsuzienz, septische Phlebitis,
Phlegmasia coerulea dolens.
Relative Kontraindikationen:
Ausgeprägte nässende Dermatosen, Unverträglichkeit auf

Kompressionsstrumpfmaterial, schwere Sensibilitätsstörungen
der Extremität, fortgeschrittene periphere Neuropathie (z. B.
Diabetes mellitus), primär chronische Polyarthritis.
Anwendungsrisiken/Wichtige Hinweise
Dieses Medizinprodukt ist ein verordnungsfähiges Produkt.
Sprechen Sie Anwendung und Dauer mit Ihrem verordnenden
Arzt ab. Die Auswahl der geeigneten Größe und eine Ein-
weisung erfolgt durch das Fachpersonal, von dem Sie das
Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
– bei anhaltenden Beschwerden, Schmerzen, Taubheitsgefühl,
Veränderungen der Hautfarbe, das Auftreten von Wunden
oder Schwellungen, Produkt ablegen und den Arzt oder
Fachhandel aufsuchen
– Medizinprodukt indikationsgerecht einsetzen
– gleichzeitige Nutzung weiterer kompressiver
Medizinprodukte nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt
– keine eigenmächtigen Veränderungen am Produkt vornehmen
– nicht auf oenen Wunden tragen
– nicht verwenden bei Unverträglichkeiten gegen eines der
verwendeten Materialien
– kein Wiedereinsatz – dieses Hilfsmittel ist zur Versorgung
eines Patienten bestimmt
– während der Tragedauer des Medizinprodukts: ausschließlich
vom Hersteller zugelassene und empfohlene Hautpflegepro-
dukte verwenden. Ungeeignete Hautpflegeprodukte können
das Material zerstören.
Anziehanleitung für Kompressionsarmstrumpf
 Von oben her bis zum Ellenbogenbereich in den
Kompressionsarmstrumpf greifen.
 Das Gestrick im Ellenbogenbereich von innen fest- halten, und den Kompressionsarmstrumpf bis zum
Ellenbogenbereich auf links wenden.
 Den umgeschlagenen Kompressionsarmstrumpf über
die Hand auf den Unterarm ziehen, bis der Überschlag
den Ellenbogen erreicht.
 Den Kompressionsarmstrumpf schrittweise nach oben
bis zur Schulter streifen, und das Gestrick am Oberarm
mit der flachen Hand verteilen.

Anziehanleitung für Kompressionshandschuh
 Schlüpfen Sie mit der Hand direkt in die Versorgung.
 Bei korrektem Sitz sollten in den Fingerzwischenräumen
keine Falten oder Hohlräume sein.
Achtung: Ihr Kompressionsarmstrumpf und Kompressions-
handschuh darf nie verdreht werden. Verteilen Sie die
Kompressionsversorgung in Etappen von unten nach oben!
Diese Tipps erleichtern das Anziehen:
– Ziehen Sie Kompressionsarmstrümpfe/-handschuhe
morgens gleich nach dem Aufstehen bzw. nach einer
Lymphdrainage an.
– Raue, ungefeilte Fingernägel, scharfkantige Ringe können
das Gestrick beschädigen.
– Verwenden Sie bitte stets BORT AktiVen
®
Spezial-Handschuhe
zum Anziehen der Kompressionsarmstrümpfe/-handschuhe.
Ablegen
Zum Ablegen der Kompressionsarmstrümpfe/-handschuhe
diese von oben her und nach unten über den Arm/die Hand
ziehen.
Materialzusammensetzung
Polyamid (PA), Elasthan (EL)
Die genaue Materialzusammensetzung entnehmen Sie bitte
dem eingenähten Textiletikett.
Reinigungshinweise
Vor dem Waschen müssen alle Verschlüsse (falls
vorhanden) geschlossen werden! Strümpfe mit Haft- und
Spitzenhaftband bitte stets auf links waschen. Waschen Sie die
Kompressionsstrümpfe beim ersten Mal separat (Möglichkeit
des Ausfärbens). Ihre Kompressionsstrümpfe sollten möglichst
täglich von Hand oder im Schon-/Feinwaschgang (40°C)
gewaschen werden. Wir empfehlen für BORT AktiVen®
Medizinische Kompressionsstrümpfe die Verwendung von
BORT Spezial-Waschmittel. Tipp: Ein Wäschenetz schützt das
Gestrick zusätzlich. Bei Handwäsche reichlich spülen, nicht
wringen. Sie können die Trockenzeit verkürzen, indem Sie die
Kompressionsstrümpfe nach dem Waschen auf ein dickes

Frotteehandtuch legen, fest einrollen und kräftig ausdrücken.
Dann die Strümpfe lose aufhängen. Nicht im Handtuch liegen
lassen und nicht auf der Heizung oder in der Sonne trocknen.
Die Kompressionsstrümpfe dürfen nicht chemisch gereinigt
werden. Bitte beachten Sie die Pflegehinweise auf dem
eingenähten Textiletikett.

Für das erworbene Produkt gelten die gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen des Landes, in dem Sie das Produkt bezogen
haben. Bitte wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhandel, sollten
Sie einen Gewährleistungsfall vermuten. Bitte das Produkt
vor Einreichung eines Gewährleistungsfalles reinigen.
Wurden beiliegende Hinweise der Gebrauchsanweisung
nicht ausreichend beachtet, so kann die Gewährleistung
beeinträchtigt werden bzw. entfallen. Ausgeschlossen ist eine
Gewährleistung bei nicht indikationsgerechter Anwendung,
Nichtbeachtung der Anwendungsrisiken, -hinweise sowie
eigenmächtig vorgenommenen Änderungen am Produkt.
Nutzungsdauer/Lebensdauer des Produkts
Bei regelmäßigem und bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch wird
eine Nutzungsdauer von 6 Monaten zugesichert.
Meldepflicht
Kommt es bei der Anwendung des Medizinproduktes zu einer
schwerwiegenden Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustandes,
dann melden Sie dies Ihrem Fachhändler oder uns als Her-
steller sowie dem BfArM (Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und

carefully. If you have any questions, please refer to your
physician or the specialist retailer from whom you purchased
this medical device.
Intended purpose
This medical device is a pair of medical compression stockings
for long-term therapy of phlebological and/or lymphological
diseases and for long-term lipoedema therapy.
Indications
CCL 1:
Damage to the venous/lymphatic vessel function/structure on
the lower and upper arm (e.g. slight varicosis, post-operative/
post-traumatic, congestion due to immobilisation, lymphoedema)
with a slightly pronounced tendency for swelling, low oedema
risk, heaviness feeling, for the reduction of oedema, complaint
and pain alleviation.
CCL 2:
Damage to the venous/lymphatic vessel function/structure on
the lower and upper arm (e.g. varicosis, after thrombophlebitis,
acute thrombosis, lymphoedema) with moderately pronounced
swelling tendency, oedema, for the reduction of oedema,
complaint and pain alleviation.
CCL 3:
Damage to the venous/lymphatic vessel function/structure
on the lower and upper arm (e.g. acute thrombosis, post-
thrombotic insuciency, lymphoedema from stage II) with a
significantly pronounced swelling tendency, oedema, possibly
skin changes, for oedema reduction, complaint and pain
alleviation.
Contraindications
Absolute contraindications:
Advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease,
decompensated heart failure, septic phlebitis, phlegmasia
coeruela dolens.
Relative contraindications:
Distinct weeping dermatoses, intolerance of compression

stocking material, severe sensitivity disorders of the extremity,
advanced peripheral neuropathy (e. g. diabetes mellitus),
primary chronic polyarthritis.
Application risks/Important notes
This medical device is a prescribable product. Discuss the use
and duration with your treating physician. The expert sta from
whom you have received the medical device will select the
appropriate size and instruct you regarding its use.
– in case of persistent complaints, pain, numbness, changes
in skin colour, occurrence of wounds or swellings, remove
the device and consult the physician or specialist retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use further compressive medical devices
simultaneously after consultation with your physician
– do not make any unauthorised modifications to the device
– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
– re-use – this medical aid is intended for treating one patient
– whilst the medical device is worn: use exclusively skin care
products approved and recommended by the manufacturer.
Unsuitable skin care products may destroy the material.
Fitting instructions for compression arm stocking
 Take hold of the compression arm stocking from the top
to the elbow area.
 Hold the fabric in the elbow area from the inside and
turn the compression arm stocking inside out up to the
elbow area.
 Pull the turned up compression arm stocking over the
hand onto the lower arm until the rollover reaches the
elbow.
 Slip the compression arm stocking upwards to the
shoulder step-by-step and arrange the fabric on the
upper arm with the palm of your hand.
Fitting instructions for the compression glove
 Slip your hand directly into the glove.

 If it fits correctly, no creases or hollows should exist in
the space between the fingers.
Attention: Your compression arm stocking and compression
glove must never be twisted. Arrange the compression care in
stages from the bottom to the top.
These tips make them easier to put on:
– Put the compression arm stockings on directly after getting
up in the morning or after lymphatic drainage.
– Rough, unfiled fingernails and sharp-edged rings can
damage the fabric.
– Please always use BORT AktiVen®Special Gloves for putting
the compression arm stockings/gloves on.
Removal
To remove the compression arm stockings/gloves, please pull
them from the top downwards over the arm/hand.
Material composition
Polyamide (PA), elastane (EL)
The sewn in textile label provides the precise material
composition.
Cleaning information
Before washing, all fasteners (if existing) must be closed!
Please always wash stockings with grip top and lace grip top
inside-out. Wash the compression stockings separately first
time (the dye may run). Your compression stockings should
ideally be hand-washed or washed using a delicate wash
cycle (40°C) daily. For BORT AktiVen®medical compression
stockings we recommend using BORT Special Detergent.
Tip: A laundry net provides additional protection for the
knitted fabric. If hand-washing, rinse thoroughly, do not wring.
You can reduce the drying time by placing the compression
stockings on a thick terry towel after washing them, rolling
them up firmly and firmly pressing out excess moisture. Then
hang the stockings up loosely. Do not leave them around in the
towel and neither dry them on a radiator nor in the sun. The
compression stockings must not be cleaned chemically. Please
observe the care instructions on the sewn in textile label.

Warranty
The legal regulations of the country in which you acquired the
product apply to the purchased product. Please contact your
specialist retailer if you suspect a warranty claim. Please clean
the product before submitting a warranty claim.
If the enclosed instructions for use have not been properly
observed, the warranty may be impaired or cancelled. The
warranty does not cover inappropriate use of the product
for the indication, non-observance of application risks,
instructions and unauthorised modifications to the product.
Useful life/Lifetime of the product
In case of regular and correct use, a useful life of 6 months is
assured.
Duty of notification
If a serious worsening of the state of health occurs when using
the medical device, you are obliged to notify the specialist dealer
or us as the manufacturer and the Medicines & Healthcare
products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). You can find our contact

Disposal
Upon the termination of use, the product must be disposed of
in accordance with the corresponding local requirements.

Utilisation prévue
Ce dispositif médical est un bas de compression destiné
au traitement longue durée des pathologies phlébologiques
et/ou lymphologiques, et au traitement longue durée d’un
lipœdème.
Indications

lymphatique sur le haut du bras et à l'avant-bras (p. ex.
varice légère, post-opératoire/post-traumatique, congestion
liée à une immobilisation, lymphœdème) avec tendance au

sensation de lourdeur, pour réduction d'œdème, soulagement
de gêne et de douleur.

Contre-indications
Contre-indications absolues :
Artériopathie oblitérante périphérique avancée, insusance
cardiaque décompensée, phlébite septique, phlébite bleue.

Contre-indications relatives :
Dermatoses suintantes sévères, intolérance au matériau
composant le bas de compression, troubles de la sensibilité
sévères des extrémités, neuropathie périphérique avancée
(p.ex. diabète sucré), polyarthrite chronique primaire.
Risques inhérents à l’utilisation/Remarques importantes
Ce dispositif médical est un produit prescrit sur ordonnance.
Consultez votre médecin prescripteur pour en connaître
l’utilisation et la durée de port. Le choix de la taille, ainsi
qu’une présentation du produit, seront eectués par le
personnel spécialisé fournissant ce dispositif médical.
– en cas de gênes persistantes, douleurs, sensation
d’engourdissement, changements de couleur de peau,
apparition de lésions ou de gonflements, redonner le produit
et consulter un médecin ou un magasin spécialisé
– utiliser le dispositif médical conformément aux indications
– utilisation simultanée d’autres dispositifs médicaux de
compression exclusivement sur avis de votre médecin
– ne pas modifier le produit soi-même
– ne pas porter sur des plaies ouvertes
– ne pas utiliser en cas d’intolérance à l’un des matériaux
utilisés
– ne pas réutiliser. Ce dispositif est conçu pour le soin d’un
seul patient.
– pendant la durée de port du dispositif médical : utiliser
exclusivement des produits de soin de la peau autorisés et
recommandés par le fabricant. Les produits de soin de la
peau non appropriés peuvent détruire la matière.
Instruction d'application du manchon de compression
 Saisir dans le manchon de compression par le haut et
jusqu'à la région du coude.
 Tenir en main la couture de l'intérieur dans la région
du coude, puis retourner sur l'envers le manchon de
compression jusqu'à la région du coude.
 Tirer le manchon de compression rabattu sur l'avant-
bras par-dessus la main jusqu'à ce que le rabat atteigne
le coude.

 Faire passer progressivement le manchon de
compression vers le haut jusqu'à l'épaule, puis aplanir
la couture sur le haut du bras avec le plat de la main.
Instruction d'application du gant de compression
 Enfilez avec la main directement dans le gant.
 Lorsque l'assise est correcte, aucun pli ou creux ne doit
se trouver entre les doigts.
Attention : Votre manchon de compression et votre gant de
compression ne doivent jamais être torsadés. Répartissez le
traitement compressif en étapes de bas en haut !
Les recommandations suivantes facilitent l’enfilage :
– Enfilez les manchons/gants de compression le matin dès le
lever ou après un drainage lymphatique.
– Les ongles de mains rugueux et non limés, ainsi que les
bagues à arêtes tranchantes, peuvent endommager la
couture.
– Utilisez toujours les gants spéciaux BORT AktiVen®pour
enfiler les manchons/gants de compression.
Retirer
Pour retirer les manchons/gants de compression, tirer par le
haut et vers le bas sur le bras/la main.
Composition des matières
Polyamide (PA), élasthanne (EL)
Vous trouverez la composition exacte sur l’étiquette textile
cousue au produit.
Conseils de lavage
Toutes les attaches (si existantes) doivent être fermées avant
le lavage ! Lavez toujours les bas avec la bande adhésive et la
bande adhésive à dentelle à l’envers. Lavez pour la première
fois les bas de compression séparément (décoloration
possible). Lavez vos bas de compression si possible chaque
jour à la main ou en utilisant un programme pour linge
délicat (40°C). Pour les bas de compression médicaux BORT
AktiVen®, nous recommandons d’utiliser des nettoyants
spéciaux BORT. Conseil : Un filet à linge ore une protection

supplémentaire au tricot. Rincez abondamment lors du lavage
à la main, n’essorez pas le produit. Il est possible de raccourcir
la durée de séchage en déposant les bas de compression
après le lavage sur une serviette éponge épaisse, avant de
les enrouler fermement et de les comprimer. Suspendez les
bas sans qu’ils soient serrés. Ne laissez pas le produit dans
la serviette et ne le faites pas sécher sur un radiateur ou au
soleil. Les bas de compression ne doivent pas être nettoyés
à sec. Veuillez respecter les conseils d’entretien figurant sur
l’étiquette textile cousue à l’intérieur.

Garantie
Les dispositions légales du pays dans lequel vous vous êtes
procuré le produit sont applicables au produit acquis. Veuillez
vous adresser à votre magasin spécialisé si vous suspectez un
cas relevant de la garantie. Veuillez nettoyer le produit avant
de l’envoyer en cas de recours à la garantie.
Si les présentes indications du mode d’emploi n’ont pas
été susamment respectées, le recours à la garantie peut
être impacté ou exclu. Le recours à la garantie est exclu
en cas d’utilisation non conforme aux indications, en cas
de non-respect des risques inhérents à l’utilisation, en cas
d’instructions et de modifications du produit eectuées de
votre propre initiative.
Durée d’utilisation/ Durée de vie du produit
Une durée d’utilisation de 6 mois est garantie en cas
d’utilisation régulière et conforme.
Obligation de signalement
Si une détérioration grave de l’état de santé d’un patient se
produit lors de l’utilisation du dispositif médical, veuillez en
informer votre distributeur spécialisé ou nous avertir en tant
que fabricant et avertir l’ANSM (Agence nationale de sécurité

Destinazione
Questo dispositivo medico è una calza compressiva per
la terapia a lungo termine delle malattie flebologiche e/o
linfologiche e per la terapia a lungo termine del lipedema.
Indicazioni
CCL 1:
Danni alla funzione/struttura vascolare venosa/linfatica
della parte inferiore e superiore del braccio (ad es. varicosi
minore, post-operatoria/post-traumatica, ristagno dovuto
all'immobilizzazione, linfedema) con leggera tendenza al
gonfiore, leggero rischio di edema, sensazione di pesantezza,
per la riduzione dell'edema, sollievo dal disagio e dal dolore.
CCL 2:
Danni alla funzione/struttura vascolare venosa/linfatica della
parte inferiore e superiore del braccio (ad es. varicosi, dopo
tromboflebite, trombosi acuta, linfedema) con tendenza
moderatamente pronunciata al gonfiore, edema, per la
riduzione dell'edema, sollievo dal disagio e dal dolore.
CCL 3:
Danni alla funzione/struttura vascolare venosa/linfatica della
parte inferiore e superiore del braccio (ad es. trombosi acuta,
insucienza post-trombotica, linfedema dallo stadio II) con
notevole tendenza al gonfiore, edema, eventuali alterazioni
cutanee, per la riduzione dell'edema, il sollievo dai sintomi e
dal dolore.
Controindicazioni
Controindicazioni assolute:
Arteriopatia ostruttiva periferica avanzata, insucienza
cardiaca scompensata, flebite settica, phlegmasia coerulea
dolens.
Controindicazioni relative:
Dermatosi umida pronunciata, intolleranza al materiale
della calza compressiva, gravi disturbi della sensibilità

dell’estremità, neuropatia periferica avanzata (ad es. diabete
mellito), poliartrite primaria cronica.
Rischi correlati all’applicazione/Avvertenze importanti
Questo dispositivo medico è un prodotto prescrivibile. Chiedere
informazioni sull’uso e la durata al medico prescrittore. La
selezione della misura e delle istruzioni adatte è eettuata dal
personale qualificato da cui ha ricevuto il dispositivo medico.
– se i sintomi quali dolore, intorpidimento, alterazioni del
colore della pelle, comparsa di piaghe o gonfiori persistono,
interrompere l’uso del prodotto e consultare un medico o un
rivenditore specializzato.
– utilizzare il dispositivo medico secondo le indicazioni
– l’uso simultaneo di ulteriori dispositivi medici compressivi
può avvenire solo dopo aver consultato il suo medico
– non apportare modifiche non autorizzate al prodotto
– non indossare su ferite aperte
– non utilizzare in caso di incompatibilità con uno dei materiali
utilizzati
– non è consentito il riutilizzo del prodotto – il presente ausilio
è destinato al trattamento di un solo paziente
– durante il periodo d’uso del dispositivo medico:
utilizzare solo prodotti per la cura della pelle approvati e
raccomandati dal produttore. Prodotti per la cura della pelle
non idonei possono deteriorare il materiale.
Istruzioni per indossare il manicotto a compressione
 Inserire il manicotto a compressione dall'alto verso
l'area del gomito.
 Tenere il tessuto a maglia all'altezza del gomito
dall'interno e risvoltare il manicotto a compressione fino
all'area del gomito.
 Tirare il manicotto a compressione ripiegato sulla mano
e sull'avambraccio finché la piega non raggiunge il
gomito.
 Tirare gradualmente il manicotto a compressione fino
alla spalla e stendere il tessuto a maglia sulla parte
superiore del braccio con la mano piatta.
