Safety
Warning! Thefollowing safety instructions must be followed; for
your safety and thesafety of others. Carefully read through all
theinstructions before using theradiator.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theappliance in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Children shall not play with theappliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only
switch on/off theappliance provided that it has been placed or
installed in its intended normal operating position and they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theappliance in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in,
regulate and clean theappliance or perform user maintenance.
• Warning! - Some parts of this product can become very hot
and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where
children and vulnerable people are present.
• Theconvector heater should not be placed directly beneath
awall socket.

• Theconvector heater must never be used with atimer or
other equipment which turns theheater on automatically.
Thisis because theconvector heater might be in adangerous
location or covered by aflammable object which could
constitute afire hazard.
• Never place theconvector heater close to abathtub, shower
or swimmingpool.
• Theconvector heater must never be immersed in water for
cleaning.
• Do not place theconvector heater close to curtains and/
or combustible materials which could ignite and start afire.
Theconvector heater must not be placed on asoft carpet,
rug or similar surface which could block theair intake on
thebottom of theheater. Firehazard!
• Theconvector heater must not be covered over with anything
whilst it is switched on or before it has cooled down afteruse.
• Do not coil themains lead around theconvector heater.
• Theconvector heater must never be used where flammable
liquids or explosive gases are stored.
• Theconvector heater must not be used as atowel dryer or
for drying clothes.
• Do not use theconvector heater for heating greenhouses,
saunas, drying rooms or similar locations.
• Do not use theconvector heater for heating locations where
livestock or animals are housed.
• Theconvector heater should be placed on aflat, level surface.
• Theconvector heater becomes very hot during use and
will remain so for awhile, even after being switchedoff.
Theconvector heater should therefore never be touched until
it has cooled sufficiently.
• Theconvector heater should be treated with care; it should
not be subjected to impacts and vibrations.
• Theconvector heater must only be connected to anearthed
electrical socket.

• If theconvector heater is damaged it should be replaced by
aqualified service technician.
• If themains lead is damaged it must only be replaced by
themanufacturer, retailer or other qualified service technician.
• Theconvector heater is only intended for domesticuse.
Itmust not be used on building sites, in greenhouses, barns
or stables containing combustibledust.
• Theconvector heater becomes very hot duringuse. Pullout
theplug and let theconvector heater cool before cleaning.
• Theconvector heater should be plugged into anelectrical
socket which is visible and easy to access.
• Always unplug theconvector heater when it is not inuse.
• Theconvector heater is only designed for normal indoor use
and must not be used outdoors.
• Never turn theconvector heater off by unpluggingit. Always
turn theconvector heater off by setting theon/off switch to
theoff position.
• Ensure that no foreign objects enter theconvector heater as
this may lead to short circuiting, electric shock, or afire hazard.
• Never position theconvector heater in such away that themains
lead is directly in front of or touching thehousing of theheater.
• Only use theconvector heater with thefeet attached.
Thismodel is not designed to be wall mounted.
• Theconvector heater must only be connected to anearthed
electrical socket with apower supply of 230–240 V AC.
• Only use theconvector heater as described in theinstruction
manual. Donot use theconvector heater for any purpose other
than that for which it was intended or modify it in anyway.
• Make sure theconvector heater is clean and is not covered
with dust or residue.
• Theconvector heater is designed to be placed on ahard,
even horizontal surface with thefeet facingdown.

• For extra safety, all electrical products connected to themains
should be run through anRCD for personal safety. TheRCD
should be rated to tripat: Tripping current 30mA.
Note: Nevercover theheater. Ifcovered, there is arisk of
overheating or evenfire.
Use
Note: The first time the heater is switched on it can emit a slight odour and smoke,
this is completely normal.
1. Place the convector heater on a firm, level surface.
2. The heater has three power settings:
Assembly
Securely attach both feet to the bottom of the convector heater using the supplied
sheet metal screws.
Note: The convector heater must not be used if the feet are damaged or missing.

Setting the desired temperature
1. Turn the thermostat knob to the maximum setting.
2. Select a power setting (experiment to find the best setting for the location).
3. When the desired temperature has been reached, slowly turn the thermostat knob
back until it clicks and the heater is switched off.
4. The heater will maintain the set temperature by automatically switching on and off.
5. With the thermostat knob set to MIN, the heater will maintain a room temperature
of around 5 °C.

Note: Bear in mind that factors such as the size of the room, the outside temperature
and how well the building is insulated, all affect the ability of the heater to warm
theroom up. If the room is too big, the heater might not be powerful enough to reach
the desired temperature or even keep the room above 5 °C.
Overheating protection
• The heater is fitted with an over-temperature safety cut-off which switches
theheater off if it overheats.
• To reset the over-temperature safety cut-off, unplug the heater and let it cool for
15–20 minutes.
• Then plug the heater back into a wall socket. The over-temperature safety cut-off
should now be reset and the heater should work normally.
Care and cleaning
• Switch the heater off, unplug it from the wall socket and let it cool before cleaning
it and putting it away.
• Clean the heater using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Hoover the underneath of the heater regularly to prevent dust from building up in
the air intake.
• Store the heater in its box in a cool and dry location, together with its instruction
manual.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local council.

• Elementet får aldrig användas tillsammans med timer eller
annan utrustning som slår på elementet automatiskt eftersom
elementet kan vara felplacerat eller övertäckt och därmed kan
utgöra enbrandrisk.
• Placera aldrig elementet inärheten av badkar, dusch eller
swimmingpool.
• Elementet får inte sänkas ner ivatten för rengöring.
• Placera inte elementet inärheten av gardiner och/eller andra
brännbara föremål som kan riskera att fattaeld. Elementet får
inte placeras på enmjuk matta eller liknande som kan blockera
elementets luftintag på undersidan. Brandfara!
• Elementet får inte täckas över med någonting under användning
eller innan det har kallnat efter användning.
• Linda inte upp anslutningssladden på elementet.
• Elementet får aldrig användas där brandfarliga vätskor eller
explosiva gaser förvaras.
• Elementet får inte användas som handdukstork eller för att
torka kläder.
• Använd inte elementet till att värma upp växthus, bastu,
torkrum eller liknande.
• Använd inte elementet till att värma upp utrymme för djur-
uppfödning eller där djurvistas.
• Placera elementet på enhorisontell, jämnyta.
• Elementet blir mycket varmt vid användning och enstund
efter att det har stängtsav. Vidrör därför aldrig elementet
innan det svalnat.
• Elementet ska hanteras varsamt, det får inte utsättas för slag
och vibrationer.
• Elementet måste anslutas till ettjordat eluttag.
• Om elementet är skadat, måste det repareras av en
kvalificerad tekniker.
• Om nätsladden skadas får den, för att fara ska undvikas,
bytas ut endast av tillverkaren, återförsäljaren eller annan
kvalificerad personal.

• Elementet är endast avsett för användning ibostäder. Detfår
inte användas på byggnadsplatser, iväxthus, lador eller stall
där det finns brandfarligtdamm.
• Elementet blir mycket varmt vid användning. Draur stickproppen
och låt elementet kallna före rengöring.
• Elementets stickpropp ska anslutas till etteluttag som är väl
synligt och lätt att kommaåt.
• Dra alltid ur stickproppen när elementet inte används.
• Elementet är enbart avsett för normal användning inomhus
(IP20) och får ej användas utomhus.
• Stäng aldrig av elementet genom att dra ur stickproppen.

• Se till att främmande föremål inte kommer in ielementet efter-
som detta kan orsaka kortslutning, elektrisk stöt eller brandfara.
• Placera aldrig elementet så att sladden ligger framför eller
direkt mot elementet.
• Använd endast elementet med fötterna monterade, det är inte
avsett för att monteras påvägg.
• Anslut endast elementet till ettjordat uttag med spänning
230–240 V AC.
• Använd endast elementet för uppvärmning av lokaler på så
sätt som beskrivs ibruksanvisningen, använd det inte till
något annat och modifiera inte produkten på någotvis.
• Se till att värmeelementet är rent och inte har någon beläggning.
• Elementet är avsett för att placeras på enhård, plan vågrät
yta med fötternaneråt.
• För extra säkerhet bör alltid elektriska produkter anslutas till
elnätet via enjordfelsbrytare för personskydd! Denlöser ut
vid fel och ska varamärkt: Utlösningsström 30mA.
Obs! Täckaldrig över elementet. Riskför överhettning
ochbrand.
