Controller for radiant heating NR9003
INTRODUZIONE
Scopo di questo documento è fornire le informazioni basilari per l’uti-
lizzo del regolatore e delle sue funzioni principali. Essendo il prodotto
altamente congurabile a seconda dell’impianto questo manuale non è
esaustivo e per ulteriori dettagli occorre consultare il bollettino tecnico
DBL571i scaricabile dal nostro sito www.controlli.eu nella sezione Pro-
dotti > Controllori > Parametrici.
Saranno disponibili tutte le informazioni per operare sulle sonde
STA61M.
FUNZIONAMENTO
Il regolatore funziona con i parametri memorizzati internamente che
possono essere modicati tramite supervisione o apposito strumento di
congurazione (protocollo MODBUS).
Il Regolatore NR9003 potrà essere congurato per gestire il uido pri-
mario, attraverso il comando di una valvola miscelatrice e una pompa
di circolazione, e tre testine elettrotermiche per gestire altrettante Zone.
L’aggiunta del Regolatore NR9003 congurato come “Slave” permette-
rà di gestire ulteriori 6 Zone per un totale di 9.
Un Bus di comunicazione permetterà di acquisire informazioni loca-
li delle Zone (temperatura, umidità e relativi Set) attraverso le sonde
STA61M e gestire, di conseguenza, l’apertura/chiusura delle testine
elettrotermiche dei pannelli radianti di ogni zona.
Sarà inoltre possibile abilitare diverse funzioni in base ai dispositivi pre-
senti sull’impianto.
CONFIGURAZIONE DELLA SONDA STA61M
Le sonde dovranno essere congurate in fase di messa in servizio
dell’impianto per:
• Impostare la velocità di comunicazione (baud-rate 9600);
• Impostare l’indirizzo Modbus (1 – 9);
• Impostare l’ora;
• Impostare, se richiesto, il programma orario.
ERRORI
Il sistema permette di monitorare lo stato dei vari componenti.
Gli errori possono essere visualizzati o sulle sonde STA61M (come co-
dice nel menù di sottolivello) o attraverso la Supervisione.
Di seguito la tabella che identica il signicato dei codici di errore.
Più errori attivi generano un codice di errore risultante dalla somma
dei codici. Il valore sarà visibile dalla supervisione e sul display della
sonda STA61M.

INTRODUCTION
This document is a basic information for the use of the regulator and
its main functions. Since the product is highly congurable depending
on the system, this manual is not exhaustive and for further details it is
necessary to consult the technical bulletin DBL571i downloadable from
our website www.controlli.eu in Products > Controllers > Parametric.
All information will be available to operate on the STA61M probes.
OPERATION
The controller works with internally stored parameters that can be modi-
ed by supervision or a specic conguration tool (MODBUS protocol).
The NR9003 Controller can be congured to manage the primary uid,
through the control of a mixing valve and a circulation pump, and three
electrothermal heads to manage as many Zones.
The addition of the NR9003 Controller congured as a “Slave” will allow
the management of further 6 Zones for a total of 9.
A communication bus will allow to acquire local information of the zones
(temperature, humidity and relative Set) through the STA61M probes
and, consequently, manage the opening/closing of the electrothermal
heads of the radiant panels of each zone.
It will also be possible to enable different functions based on the devi-
ces present on the system.
STA61M PROBE CONFIGURATION
The probes must be congured during commissioning of the system for:
• Set the communication speed (baud-rate 9600);
• Set the Modbus address (1 - 9);
• Set the time;
• Set the time program if required.
ERRORS
The system allows you to monitor the status of the various components.
The errors can be displayed either on the STA61M probes (as a code in
the sub-level menu) or through the Supervision.
Below is the table that identies the meaning of the error codes.
Multiple active errors generate an error code resulting from the sum
of the codes. The value will be visible from the supervision and on the
display of the STA61M probe.

SONDA STA61M
La sonda STA61M è un terminale da ambiente che permette all’utente
la regolazione della temperatura e dell’umidità in un ambiente residen-
ziale. Esso comunica con il protocollo Modbus e può essere collegato
ad una rete dove operano regolatori Master in grado di congurare tali
sonde.
A seconda dei modelli l’alimentazione può essere a 24 Vac/dc o 230
Vac.
Congurazione
La sonda STA61M per poter essere collegata sul bus 485 del regolato-
re NR9003 necessita di una precongurazione per quanto riguarda la
velocità di comunicazione e l’indirizzo Modbus.
Procedura:
1. Premere contemporaneamente i tasti FAN e
POWER per 3 sec. per entrare nel Menù Pa-
rametri.
2. Ruotare la manopola per impostare sopra la
scritta Code il numero 22 e premere la mano-
pola per confermare. Compare la scritta “Addr”.
3. Premere la manopola per confermare la volon-
tà di impostare l’indirizzo Modbus.
4. Ruotare la manopola per impostare l’indirizzo
(1 – 9) e premere la manopola per confermare.
5. Ruotare la manopola no alla comparsa della
scritta “Baud”.
6. Premere la manopola per confermare la volon-
tà di impostare la velocità di comunicazione.
7. Ruotare la manopola per impostare il valore 1
(9600 baud) e premere la manopola per con-
fermare.
8. Ruotare la manopola no alla comparsa della
scritta “esc” e premere la manopola per uscire
dalla congurazione.
Nota: l’indirizzo della sonda deve essere univoco,
sequenziale e partire da 1.
Impostazione orologio
La sonda STA61M ha al suo interno un orologio che pertanto necessita
di essere impostato.
Procedura:
1. Premere il tasto Orologio per 3 sec. Compare
la scritta “Cloc”.
2. Premere la manopola per confermare la vo-
lontà di impostare l’ora. Il cursore lampeggia
sull’ora.
3. Ruotare la manopola per impostare il valore
desiderato e premere la manopola per confer-
mare. Il cursore lampeggia sui minuti.
4. Ruotare la manopola per impostare il valore
desiderato e premere la manopola per con-
fermare. Il cursore lampeggia sul giorno della
settimana.
5. Ruotare la manopola per impostare il giorno
desiderato e premere la manopola per confer-
mare. Compare nuovamente la scritta “Cloc”.
6. Ruotare la manopola no alla comparsa della
STA61M PROBE
The STA61M probe is an environment terminal that allows the user
to regulate temperature and humidity in a residential environment. It
communicates with the Modbus protocol and can be connected to a
network where Master controllers can operate that can congure such
probes.
Depending on the model, the power supply can be 24 Vac/dc or 230
Vac.
Conguration
The STA61M probe, in order to be connected to the 485 bus of the
NR9003 controller, requires a preconguration with regard to the com-
munication speed and the Modbus address.
Procedure:
1. Press the FAN and POWER buttons simulta-
neously for 3 sec. to enter the Parameter Menu.
2. Turn the knob to set the number 22 above the
wording and press the knob to conrm. The
word “Addr” appears.
3. Press the knob to conrm the desire to set the
Modbus address.
4. Turn the knob to set the address (1 - 9) and
press the knob to conrm.
5. Turn the knob until the word “Baud” appears
6. Press the knob to conrm the desire to set the
communication speed.
7. Turn the knob to set the value 1 (9600 baud)
and press the knob to conrm.
8. Turn the knob until the word “esc” appears and
press the knob to exit the conguration.
Note: the probe address must be univocal, sequen-
tial and start from 1.
Clock setting
The STA61M probe has a clock inside that therefore needs to be set.
Procedure:
1. Press the Clock button for 3 seconds. The word “Cloc” appears.
2. Press the knob to conrm the desire to set the
time. The cursor ashes on the time.
3. Turn the knob to set the desired value and
press the knob to conrm. The cursor ashes
on the minutes.
4. Turn the knob to set the desired value and
press the knob to conrm. The cursor ashes
on the day of the week.
5. Turn the knob to set the desired day and press
the knob to conrm. The word “Cloc” appears
again.
6. Turn the knob until the word “esc” appears and
press the knob to exit the conguration.

Impostazione programmi orari
La sonda STA61M dispone al suo interno di un programma orario con
la possibilità, per ogni giorno, di impostare al massimo 6 fasce orarie.
La compilazione della tabella oraria consiste nell’impostare per ogni
fascia il Set di temperatura desiderato.
Oltre al Set c’è anche la possibilità di impostare lo stato OFF che per il
regolatore NR9003 ha il signicato di protezione Antigelo.
Procedura:
1. Premere il tasto Orologio per 3 sec. Compare
la scritta “Cloc”.
2. Ruotare la manopola no alla comparsa della
scritta “time band”.
3. Premere la manopola per confermare la volontà
d’impostare i programmi orari. Compare la scrit-
ta “Sel days”.
4. Ruotare la manopola per selezionare i gruppi di
giorni o il singolo giorno per cui si vuole impo-
stare la tabella oraria.
5. Premere la manopola per impostare la prima
fascia oraria: sulla destra lampeggia un simbolo
che la rappresenta.

6. Ruotare la manopola per selezionare la fascia desiderata e pre-
mere la manopola per confermare. Il cursore lampeggia sull’ora.
7. Ruotare la manopola per impostare il valore de-
siderato e premere la manopola per conferma-
re. Il cursore lampeggia sui minuti.
8. Ruotare la manopola per impostare il valore
desiderato e premere la manopola per confer-
mare. Il cursore lampeggia nel campo per im-
postare il set.
9. Ruotare la manopola per impostare il valore de-
siderato di temperatura e premere la manopola
per confermare. Il cursore lampeggia sul simbo-
lo che rappresenta la fascia oraria.
10. Ripetere i passi dal punto 6 per impostare le fa-
sce orarie successive (max 6).
11. Per terminare le impostazioni ruotare la mano-
pola in senso orario no a visualizzare la scritta
“esc” e premere la manopola per confermare la
volontà di uscire. Compare la scritta “sel days”.
12. Ruotare la manopola in senso antiorario no a
visualizzare la scritta “esc” e premere la mano-
pola per confermare la volontà di uscire. Com-
pare la scritta “time band”.
13. Ruotare la manopola in senso orario no a vi-
sualizzare la scritta “esc” e premere la manopo-
la per uscire dalla programmazione oraria.
Set time schedules
The STA61M probe features a time program with the possibility, for
each day, to set a maximum of 6 time slots.
The compilation of the time table consists in setting the desired tempe-
rature set for each band.
In addition to the Set there is also the possibility to set the OFF status
that for the NR9003 controller has the meaning of antifreeze protection.
Procedure:
1. Press the Clock button for 3 seconds. Appears
“Cloc”.
2. Turn the knob until appears “time band”.
3. Press the knob to conrm the will set the time
schedules. Appears “Sel days”.
4. Turn the knob to select the groups of days or
the single day for which you want to set the time
band.
5. Press the knob to set the rst time band: a
symbol representing it will ash on the right.

6. Turn the knob to select the desired time and press the knob to
conrm. The cursor ashes on the time.
7. Turn the knob to set the desired value and
press the knob to conrm. The cursor ashes
on the minutes.
8. Turn the knob to set the desired value and
press the knob to conrm. The cursor ashes
in the eld of the set.
9. Turn the knob to set the desired temperature
value and press the knob to conrm. The cur-
sor ashes on the symbol representing the time
band.
10. Repeat the steps from point 6 to set the fol-
lowing time band (max 6).
11. To end the settings, turn the knob clockwise un-
til the word “esc” appears and press the knob to
conrm the desire to exit. “Sel days” appears.
12. Turn the knob counter-clockwise until the mes-
sage “esc” and press the knob to conrm the
desire to exit. “time band” appears.
13. Turn the knob clockwise until the message
“esc” is displayed and press the knob to exit
the time programming.

Disattivazione fascia oraria
Per disattivare una fascia oraria ripetere la procedura d’impostazione
e al punto 6 (impostazione dell’ora) selezionare con la manopola la
schermata trattini.

La sonda numero 1 rappresenta la sonda che detiene la funzione di
Time Master ed è riconosciuta dalla presenza sul display del simbolo
“chiave” nel display.

Disable time band
To disable a time band, repeat the setting procedure and at point 6
(time setting) select the dash screen with the knob.

The probe number 1 represents the probe that holds the Time Master
function and is recognized by the presence of the “key” symbol on the
display.

Pressione manopola: visualizzazione pagina stazionamento
La permanenza in una pagina senza nessuna azione per più di 10 se-
condi fa tornare alla pagina stazionamento.
TASTI:
I tasti FAN e MODE non sono attivi.
La pressione del tasto ON/OFF commuta lo stato della zona da funzio-
namento a protezione antigelo: in luogo della temperatura viene visua-
lizzato OFF.
La pressione del tasto Orologio attiva le tabelle orarie, precedentemen-
te impostate. Questo modo di funzionamento viene evidenziato dalla
visualizzazione sul display, del simbolo orologio.

Permanence on a page with no action for more than 10 seconds returns
to the station page.
KEYS:
The FAN and MODE buttons are not active.
Pressing the ON/OFF key switches the zone status from operation to
antifreeze protection: OFF is displayed instead of the temperature.
Pressing the Clock button activates the time tables previously set.
This operating mode is shown on the display of the clock symbol.
