1.1 Gültigkeitsbereich dieser Anleitung
Diese Anleitung ist auschließlich für einen ausgebildeten und auf die in dieser Anleitung benannten
Geräte geschulten Fachleuten bestimmt.
Sie ist nur in Verbindung mit den Installations- und Serviceanleitungen oder Gebrauchsanweisungen der
in dieser Anleitung gelisteten Geräte gültig.
1.2 Gefahren
Da mit der Installation dieser Sonderanlagen teilweise Arbeiten am geöffneten Gerät durchgeführt werden
müssen, ist eine Verletzungsgefahr bei unfachmnännischer Ausführung gegeben.
1.3 Garantieauschluß
Sollten die in dieser Anleitung beschriebenen Inbetriebnahme-Leistungen von Nichtfachleuten oder in
Eigeninitiative durchgeführt werden, erlischt Ihr Garantieanspruch.
1.4 Benennung
Alle von dieser Anleitung betroffenen Unterthekenkühler werden im Folgenden als „Gerät“ bezeichnet.

2.1 Installationsanweisung (nur durch einen Experten durchzuführen)
Beachten Sie, dass Innengerät und Außenteil der Anlage technisch aufeinander abgestimmt sind. Bei
Verwendung fremder Komponenten erlischt jeglicher Anspruch auf Gewährleistung. Achten Sie auf
optimale und zugfreie Luftverteilung sowie auf Mindestfreiräume. Achten Sie auf ordnungsgemäß
befestigte elektrische Anschlüsse in den Klemmen. Beachten Sie das Gewicht der Außeneinheit und
wählen Sie einen Standort wo Lärm und Vibrationen vertretbar sind.
1. Das Gerät enthält eine Glykolpumpe. Beachten Sie die maximale Steighöhe von 15 m und die
Leitungslänge von 80 Metern (maximale Entfernung Gerät -Wärmetauscher 40m).
Die Verbindung der Aggregate erfolgt am besten mittels PA-Schlauch, AD 15 mm / ID 12 mm, P/N 22-
0092-035, da dieser Schlauch sowohl für Glycol als auch für Steckanschlüsse Ø 15 mm geeignet ist.
Sie benötigen insgesamt 6 Steckverbinder, 2 Stück 15 x 15 mm, P/N 14-9816-014 und 4 Verbinder 15 x
12 mm, P/N 14-9816-015.
2. Die Glykolpumpe ist an einem inneren RohrInRohr Wärmetauscher im Gerät mit dem Kältekreis
verbunden.
3. Installieren Sie die Schlauchverbindung vom Ausgang des Gerätewärmetauschers zum Eingang des
externen Wärmetauschers. Zusätzlich muß vom Pumpenaggregat zum externen Wärmetauscher ein 3-
adriges Kabel 3 x 0,75 mm mitverlegt werden, um den Ventilatormotor anzusteuern.
4. Verlegen Sie die Schlauchverbindung vom externen Wärmetauscher zum Pumpenaggregat. Achten Sie
bei allen Verbindungleitungen darauf, daß die Schläuche knicksicher verlegt sind.
5. Klemmen Sie das Kabel zum externen Wärmetauscher an der Klemmleiste am Wärmetauscher an und
klemmen Sie das andere Ende des Kabels an den Klemmen am Gerät an.
6. Stellen Sie ein Gemisch aus 30% Glycol und 70% Wasser her (ca. 5l) und füllen ca. 2l in den
Vorratsbehälter der Pumpe.
7. Füllen Sie das Wasserbecken des Kühlgerätes auf und starten Sie die Kühlung. Dabei sollen
Karbontorpumpe und Umwälzpumpe abgeschaltet bleiben. Die Glycol-Pumpe und die internen und
externen Lüfter laufen an, wenn der Kompressor startet.
8. Füllen Sie das Glyolgemisch im Vorratsbehälter der Pumpe nach, bis am Rücklaufschlauch der Pumpe
keine Luftblasen mehr auftreten.
9. Prüfen Sie, ob parallel zur Pumpe auch der Lüfter des externen Wärmetauschers arbeitet.

4.1 Verantwortung für die Systemauslegung
Die Auslegung des Kältekreislaufs, bestehend aus dem im Gerät befindlichen Verdampfer und den
bauseits zu Komplettierung des Kältekreislaufs erforderlichen Systemkomponenten, liegt in der
technischen und rechtlichen Verantwortung des Systemplaners.
Warnung Bei unsachgemäßer Auslegung und/oder Installation erlischt die Garantie seitens
Cornelius.
4.2 Systemvoraussetzungen
Das Gerät weist eine maximale Kälteleistung gem. nachfolgender Tabelle auf.
Diese Kälteleistung ist für die Systemauslegung unbedingt zu beachten.

units named in this manual.
It is only applicable in connection with the installation and service manuals or instructions for use of the
units named in this manual.

As the installation of these special systems does involve some work on the open unit, inexpert installation
presents a risk of injury.
5.3 Warranty exclusion
Your warranty will be rendered null and void if the commissioning work described in this manual is carried
out by non-specialists or on individual initiative.
5.4 Naming
All the undercounter coolers involved in this manual are subsequently referred to as “unit”.

Glycol systems
6.1 Installation instructions (only to be carried out by an expert)
Please bear in mind that the internal unit and the outer part of the system are matched to one another
technically. All warranty claims will be rendered null and void if third-party components are used. Ensure
that there is optimal and draught-free air distribution and there are minimum clearances. Ensure that the
electrical connections in the terminals are attached properly. Take the weight of the external unit into
account and select a location where noise and vibration are reasonable.
10. The unit contains a glycol pump. Observe the maximum lift height of 15 m and the pipe length
of 80 metres (maximum distance from unit to heat exchanger is 40 m).
The connection of the units is best achieved with PA tube, OD 15 mm / ID 12 mm, P/N 22-0092-035
as this tube is suitable for both glycol and for plug connectors with a diameter of 15 mm. You will require
a total of 6 plug-in connectors, 2 of 15 x 15 mm, P/N 14-9816-014 and 4 15 x 12 mm connectors,
P/N 14-9816-015.
11. The glycol pump is connected to the refrigeration circuit via an internal pipe-in-pipe heat exchanger
in the unit.
12. Install the tube connection from the outlet of the unit heat exchanger to the inlet of the external heat
exchanger. A 3-core 3 x 0.75 mm cable must also be laid from the pump unit to the external heat
exchanger in order to control the fan motor.
13. Lay the tube connection from the external heat exchanger to the pump unit. Make sure that the tubes
are laid free of kinks for all connection lines.
14. Attach the cable to the external heat exchanger on the terminal block on the heat exchanger and attach
the other end of the cable to the terminals on the unit.
15. Make a mixture of 30% glycol and 70% water (approx. 5l) and put approx. 2l into the pump’s storage tank.
16. Fill the water basin of the refrigerating unit and start the refrigeration process. The carbonator pump and
circulating pump must remain switched off during this process. The glycol pump and the internal and
external fans start up when the compressor starts.
17. Top up the glycol mixture in the pump’s storage tank until air bubbles no longer appear on the pump’s
return tube.
18. Check whether the fan of the external heat exchanger is also working in parallel with the pump.

8.1 Responsibility for the system design
The design of the refrigeration circuit, consisting of the evaporator present in the unit and the system
components required on site for completion of the refrigeration circuit falls within the technical and legal
area of responsibility of the system planner.
Warning Any warranty on the part of Cornelius will be rendered null and void in the event of
improper design and/or installation.
8.2 System requirements
