DO Install the Device
The Crestron®DMF-TX-4K-SFP can be mounted onto a at surface or onto a rack rail.
Mounting onto a Flat Surface
Using four mounting screws (not included), mount the device onto a at surface such as the
underside of a table.
Mounting to the Underside of a Table
Mounting onto a Rack Rail
Using two mounting screws (not included), mount the left or right mounting ange of the device
onto the front or rear rail of a rack.

DO Congure the Device
NOTE: If the HDMI®input of the DMF-TX-4K-SFP connects to a DigitalMedia™ switcher, the
switcher automatically congures the IP table of the DMF-TX-4K-SFP according to the SIMPL
program. The DMF-TX-4K-SFP hosts the conguration settings of the connected receiver
(DMF-RMC-4K-SFP or DMCF-RX-4K-SFP).
If the DMF-TX-4K-SFP connects to a DigitalMedia SFP+ receiver (DMF-RMC-4K-SFP or
DMCF-RX-4K-SFP) in a stand-alone conguration, congure the DMF-TX-4K-SFP using the web
interface. To access the web interface, open a web browser and then go to the IP address of
the device.
NOTE: By default, DHCP is enabled. To display the IP address on the connected display, press
the SETUP button on the top panel of the DMF-TX-4K-SFP.
To log in to the web interface, enter the user name and password. The default user name is
admin, and the default password is admin.
NOTE: The DMF-TX-4K-SFP also hosts the routing, input, and output conguration of the
connected receiver.
