Installation
The DSL-300G+ is an ADSL modem. This set-up is applicable to all operating systems
that have a JAVA enabled web browser. The unit has a factory default IP address of
192.168.0.1. Please ensure there is no device on the same network using this IP
address when you configure the unit for the first time. In the United Kingdom, the
main implementation of ADSL is using the RFC-2364
which is PPPoA. This guide assumes that you have this type of connection. Check with
your service provider if you are unsure.

PC Configuration
Set your TCPIP properties to obtain an IP address automatically.
To renew your PC IP address, use the following command in a DOS window.
Ipconfig /release
Ipconfig /renew
Your PC will have the following settings after you renew the IP address
IP address 192.168.0.2
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway 192.168.0.254
Please Note the IP address of the DSL-300G+ will be 192.168.0.1 and not
192.168.0.254

Configuration of DSL-300G+
Using your browser, connect to 192.168.0.1
You will see a login screen as above. Click on the login tab.
The default login name and password are ‘admin’ & ‘admin’

Delete Existing Entry
Click on the ‘Accounts Management’ tab and remove the existing entry if one exist.
Check/SET VCI/VPI
Click on the ‘System Setting’ and set the PVI and CVI. In the UK they should be 0/38

Setting UP Account Details
Select Account Configuration.
Now you are ready to enter your ISP details. After you have entered your details, DO
NOT click on ‘connect’, click the ‘ok’ tab.
Save changes to flash.

In the PPP information, an IP address and gateway appear, and the connection status
should say connected.
The Through DCHP, the PC IP address would have also changed from 192.168.0.2, to
PPP IP address in above screen.
You can now start to browse the Internet. For configuration purposes you will still be
able to browse to 192.168.0.1.

DI-614+ Internet Gateway Configuration
Connect your PC direct to the RJ45 port on the DI-614+. Setup your PC to get its IP
address automatically. The PC should have an IP address of 192.168.0.100 given to it
by the DI-614+, and the default gateway will be 192.168.0.1. Use your browser to
connect to the DI-614+.
The default username is ‘admin’, there is no default password, leave blank and click
the ‘ok’ tab.

Due to the DSL-300G+ also having the same default IP address, you have to change
the IP address of the DI-614+. In this example, its been changed to 10.0.0.1. The
DHCP server range will change to this new network automatically.
Select the ‘apply’ tab

After the DI-614+ has completed its boot up, you will need to release and renew your
PC IP address.
Connect back to the DI-614+ using its new IP address of 10.0.0.1.

In the WAN-Home menu option, select the ‘Dynamic IP Address’
You have completed the configuration of the DI-614+, you can turn back to page 1,
and setup the DSL-300G+ ADSL Modem.
