•Before plugging your unit into the mains, visually check

separate remote-control system or any other device.
•Check that the voltage indicated on the data plate
corresponds with that of the local network before
connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
•Close supervision is required when using this appliance
near children.
•Never leave this appliance within reach of children.

•Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
•DO NOT immerse the appliance or its cord in water or any
other liquids.
•DO NOT leave the appliance unattended during use.
•DO NOT leave the appliance unattended whilst connected
to the mains supply.
•Always use this appliance on a solid, level, surface.
•DO NOT use this appliance outdoors.
•It is imperative to unplug the power cord after the
appliance has been used, before it is cleaned and whilst
being repaired.
•Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed
by qualified personnel. Improper repairs may place user at
serious risk.
•DO NOT operate this appliance with a damaged plug or
cord, after a malfunction or after being dropped or
damaged in any way.
•Regular, periodic checks should be carried out on the
mains cable to ensure no damage is evident. Should there
be any signs of damage the appliance should not be used.
•If the power cable is damaged, it should only be replaced
by suitably qualified personnel in order to avoid a hazard.

•Unplug after each use. Grasp the plug, not the cord.
•WARNING! In order to avoid overheating, DO NOT COVER
the heater.
•Ensure appliance is situated in an open area, do not allow it
to come in contact with cupboards, curtains, wall
coverings, clothing or other flammable materials.
•DO NOT install the appliance directly below an electrical
socket.
•Allow the unit to cool before storage.
•Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the mains
supply and allow to cool.
•Never place the appliance near to flammable material or
high pressure containers. (e.g. paper, wood, petrol,
solvents, spray canisters etc.)
•The appliance should not be installed in areas which have a
fire-risk, such as garages, stables or wooden sheds; this is
applicable also for rooms in which highly inflammable
gases or dust can develop. Danger of fire!!
Note:
This appliance has been ERP classified as a portable space heater
and should only be used for supplementary, secondary or
temporary heating. It should not be considered for primary
permanent heating in a room or dwelling.

How Your Bladeless Fan works
Heating is provided by two ceramic PTC elements
which are located either side of the Air Outlet (1).
Operating Instructions
Fan Mode
•Place the fan & heater on a solid, dry, level, heat resistant surface.
•Insert the Mains Plug (6) into a socket and switch the socket on (if applicable).
•Touch the Power On/Off Button (12) or the corresponding button
on the Remote Control (7) –arrowed right, to power up the fan.
•Set the speed level to the desired setting by touching the Speed
Control Button (11), the speed setting can be selected from 1 (low
speed) to 10 (high speed).
If using the Remote Control (7) press to reduce the speed and
to increase the speed accordingly.
•The Display (8) will show the speed setting chosen from 1 to 10.
Oscillation
To make fan oscillate from side to side, press the Oscillate Button (10), to turn off
oscillation press the Oscillate Button (10) again.
If using the Remote Control (7) press the for oscillation and press again
to cancel.
The bladeless fan works by pulling air in through the Air
Inlet (3) which then forces the air up through the Main Body
(2) and round in a circular motion before being pushed out
through the Air Outlet (1).

Heat Mode
•Place the fan & heater on a solid, dry, heat resistant surface.
•Insert the Mains Plug (6) into a socket and switch the socket on (if applicable).
•Touch the Power On/Off Button (12) or press the corresponding
button on the Remote Control (7) –arrowed right, to power up
the fan.
•Touch the Heat Button (9) to switch on heat mode.
•Repeatedly touch the Heat Button (9) to select from:
H1 for Low Heat mode
H2 for Medium Heat mode
H3 for High Heat mode
•Alternatively, if using the Remote Control (7), press the ‘COOL/HOT’
button for heat mode.
Select the desired heat settings on the Remote Control
(7) by pressing the ‘H’(High Heat), ‘M’(Medium Heat) or
‘L’(Low Heat) buttons, arrowed right:
H1 for Low Heat mode
H2 for Medium Heat mode
H3 for High Heat mode
WARNING! The surface of the unit will become hot in heat mode, particularly
around the Air Outlet (1). Allow the unit to cool before cleaning.
Switching off
Touch the Power Button (1) on the unit either the Control Panel
(4) or the corresponding button on the Remote Control (7).
Timer Operation
Whilst the unit is operating, press the or button on the
Remote Control (7) until the desired time the unit is to be on
for is shown on the Display (8).
The timer can be set in hour increments up to 9 hours.
The fan & heater will automatically go into standby mode if left inactive for 20
minutes.

Using the Remote Control (7)
The Remote Control (7) duplicates the controls on the Control Panel (4) allowing
you to control your fan and heater remotely.
If using the Remote Control (7) for the first time,
pull the tab from the battery compartment as
shown right:
Replacing the Battery in the Remote Control
If the Remote-Control range has become reduced or it has stopped working
altogether the battery will need replacing as shown below:
•CAUTION: There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly fitted.
•Ensure that the battery is installed with the correct polarity.
•It is recommended that battery is removed if the remote if it is not to be used
for a long period of time or if the remote is to be disposed of.
•Replace only with the same or equivalent battery type.
•Store batteries in a cool dry place.
•Do not expose the battery to sunshine, fire, heat or similar, never dispose of
batteries in a fire.
•Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
•Do not short-circuit batteries.
•Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product and safely disposed of.
WARNING!
•Do not ingest the battery, Chemical Burn Hazard.
•The remote control supplied with this product contains a coin/button cell type
battery.
•If the coin/button cell type battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal
burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
•Keep new and used batteries away from children.
APush the tab on the
battery compartment in
the direction of the arrow
as shown above.
BSlide out the battery
compartment and insert a new
CR2025 battery ensuring the
positive polarity marking is
uppermost.
CSlide the battery
compartment back into
the Remote Control.

•If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and
keep away from children.
•If you think batteries may have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the
body, seek immediate medical attention.
Safety Tip –Over
WARNING! This appliance is fitted with a built in safety tip-over switch, if the
appliance is tilted by 30° or more the cut-out is activated and the unit will stop
working. The Display (8) will show the following fault code “E3”. Place the heater to
the upright position and the unit will begin to operate normally.
Safety Cut –Out (Overheat Protection)
WARNING! This appliance is fitted with a built in safety cut-out, that will activate
when the ambient temperature reaches 35°C or above. If the cut-out is activated
the unit will automatically stops working and go into standby until the ambient
temperature has dropped to below 35°C.
Care and Use of your Fan
•Ensure that the fan is not connected to the mains supply before cleaning and if
using heat mode allow to cool.
•Wipe the fan body clean with a clean, soft damp cloth.
•Do not use harsh detergents or abrasives to clean.
•Do not use polishes to clean.
•Do not immerse the fan or its cord in water or any other liquid.
•To prevent dust build-up it is recommended to periodically clean both the Air
Inlet (3) and Air Outlet (1), use a soft bristle brush.

Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead
and should the fuse needed replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one
(conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). Never use a plug with the fuse cover
missing. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician. If you need to remove the
plug-DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS- and then cut it off the mains lead and
immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into
a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock.
