timer controls the appliance. When pushed to the ON position, the timer
acts like an outlet. The timer outlet always supplies the power.
2. Timer Segments: Each segment represents 30 minutes. Push segments
down to set the timer period (length of time you want the timer on). You

1 Installing the timer
 Two keyholes are available on the back of the timer for wall mounting.
They are 1-9/16 in. apart (refer to the screw template below).
 Install the screws (AA) onto the area you wish to mount your timer. The
screw heads must extend at least 3/16 in. out from the wall.
 Hang the timer from the slots on the back of the unit onto the screws
(AA) after the timer has been set.
1 Setting the timer
 Ensure all segments (2) are pulled up before programming.
 Select a time period (or periods) you want the device turned on, then
push down all the segments (2) that fall on or within that time period.
For example, to have the timer turn a lamp on at 10 PM and off at 2 AM,
push down the segments (2) representing 10 PM and 2 AM, and all the
segments (2) in between. You may need to turn the dial (3) clockwise to
access the desired segments.
 Rotate the dial (3) clockwise until the pointer on the face of the dial
points to the current time of day. Nighttime hours (from 6:30 PM to 6:30
AM) are highlighted with a grey background.
 Set the master switch (1) to the clock symbol (Timer On position).

2 Plugging in the timer
 Plug the timer into a GFCI outlet convenient to the device to be
controlled.
 Plug the device to be controlled into the outlet on the timer. Make sure
the device is turned on to allow for automatic control. The timer will not
turn the device on if the device’s main power switch is off.
3 Manually override the timer setting
 To override the timer and use your device normally, set the master
switch (1) to the ON position. This deactivates the timer’s control of the
device, but the timer’s dial will still show the current time of day.
 To reactivate the timer’s control of
the device, turn the device’s switch
on and set the timer’s master
switch (1) to the clock symbol
(Timer On position). In case of
power failure, reset the time of day
as explained in step 1.
