Safety Precautions
This DVB-T playeris a Free-To-Air digital terrestrialreceiver,
allowing you toaccess free-to-air digital terrestrial TV channels and radio
broadcasts.Its digital receptioncovers VHF & UHF band.
Compared with theanalog TV programs,digital TV programseliminate
the noise andinterference but offerhigh quality video and audio. An on-
screen initial installationguide is provided so that you can easily startto
enjoy watching theprograms. In addition, a fully featured remote
controller is includedthat offers youaccess to every feature with a simple
press of abutton.

Insert the battery
Refer to thedrawing, take the back cover ofthe remote control off
and remove the empty battery receptacle.
Prior to shipping,a separating film was applied to the battery.
Remove this film.
Insert the batteryinto the receptacle and insert thereceptacle into
the remote.
For the bestresults,aim the remote towards at theplayer, receiving
window. Staywithin 15 feet and angles of60 degrees or less.
Under normal usethe battery will last for oneyear.
Remove battery duringstorage or when you are not using the DVD
player for along time.

First Time Installation
No channels arestored in your
unit. AFirst TimeInstallation
Wizard will appearautomatically
on the screen.Continue with the
OSD (On-Screen-Display) todo
the following setting.
1 A FirstTime Installation Wizard appears. Press¡° ¡± to
select¡°YES¡±.
2 Press¡° ¡± button / ¡° ¡± button to selectthe item you
wish to setup, and then press ¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±button to
switch to yourpreferred setting.
3Press¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±button /¡° ¡±button /
¡° ¡±button to select¡°NEXT¡±, and then press¡° ¡±to
continue to thenext page.
4 Tostart Auto Search, press¡° ¡± to select ¡°YES¡±.
All thereceivable programs (including TV and Music)will be
listed respectively onthe screen.
This process maytake a few minutes to bedone.
5 After ProgramSearch is done, press¡° ¡±button / ¡°
¡±button to selectand start watching TV programs.

Main Menu
Most of theSettings of your DVB player canbe done by following
the OSD instructions(*Main Menu). For details on howto set up
by using yourremote control, please refer to Chapter5: Remote
Control Guide.

A-1 TV ProgramEditing
Before editing yourTV program, makesure you have finished with
program search, whichshould be done by completing theFirst Time
Installation Wizard. Ifnot, you have to set upyour TV programsfirst.
Please refer to¡°Program Search¡± for details.
1 Under Main Menu,press¡° ¡± to select ¡°Program List¡±.
2 Under Program List,press¡° ¡±to select ¡°TV Program List¡±.
3 A Programedit table Window appears. You can usethis table to edit
your Favorite TVPrograms, re-arrange yourTV program numbers and
delete the TVprograms you dislike.

Step 1. In the Programedit table, press¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±
button to highlight¡°Favor¡± (Favorite Program) section.
Step 2. Under ¡°Favor¡± section, press ¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±
button to highlightthe corresponding box of your favoriteProgram and
press¡° ¡± .You will see a¡°Heart¡± icon appear onthis box,
representing that thisprogram is added to your FavoriteProgram list.
Step 3. Repeat Step 2to add morefavorite TV programs.
In Advance:
a. You can setup your Favorite Program by usingremote control.
b. You can press¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±button to stepthrough
your Favorite Programonly after one or more Favoriteprograms are set
up.

Step 1. In the Programedit table, press¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±
button to highlight¡°Move¡± section.
Step 2. Under ¡°Move¡± section, press ¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±
button to highlightthe corresponding program box you wishto change
and press ¡° ¡±.
Step 3. Press ¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±button to highlight the
corresponding program boxyou wish to exchange, and thenpress
¡° ¡±You will see a¡°Double-Arrows¡±icon appear onthis box,
representing that 2program numbers are switched.
Step 4. Repeat Step 2through Step 3to switch more programs.

Delete Program Setting
Step 1. In the Programedit table, press¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±
button to highlight¡°Del¡± (Delete) section.
Step 2. Under ¡°Del¡± section, press ¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±
button to highlightthe corre sponding program box youwish to
delete,and press¡° ¡±.Youwill see a ¡°Cross¡± icon appear on
this box, representingthat the program is deleted.
Step 3. Repeat Step 2to delete moreunwanted programs.

In Advance:
Once the programsare deleted, there is no wayto add them back. To
watch those deletedprograms, you will need to doProgram Search
again. Please notethat by doing so, your previousprogram list will be
replaced.

A-3 TV ProgramList Sorting Setting
You can use thissorting function to re-arrange your programlist in
three different ways.
1Under Main Menu,press¡° ¡±to select ¡°Program List¡±.
2 Under Program List,press¡° ¡±to select ¡°Sort¡±.
3Under Sort, press¡° ¡±button / ¡° ¡±button to selectyour
preferred sorting: ¡°By name¡±, ¡°By Service ID¡± or ¡°By Channel
No.¡±, and thenpress ¡° ¡±.
*To returnto the MAINMENU

B. Program Search
ToEnjoy the high quality of digitalTV signals through the Set Top Box,
you have tosearch for all the available TVprogram first. Thisunit
provides you with2 ways of program search, including Automatic
Search and ManualSearch.

1Under Main Menu,press¡° ¡±button and¡° ¡± to select
¡°Program Search¡±.
2 Under Program Search,press¡° ¡±to select ¡°Automatic
Search¡±.
3AnAutomatic Search window appears on the screen. All the
receivable TV/Music programswill be listed respectively in theTV
List/Music boxes below. This processmay take several minutes to be
done.

C Parental Control
This function allowsyou to lock the programs thatyou do not want your
children to view. For example,if you set the selected programto be
locked, then theprogram can't be watched unless thecorrect PIN
code is entered.
