Set the flow mode
1 Press the flow mode button to select the
continuous or PulseDose flow.
2 Please select flow rate and flow mode
according to your prescribed setting.
DONOT change setting without
consultingyour physician.
• Continuous flow mode — The Flow
Indicator light illuminates continuously
inthis mode.
• PulseDose mode —The Flow Indicator
light pulses with every breath in this
mode. An alert will beep after 30 seconds
if a breath is not detected. If another 60
seconds elapses and no breath is detected,
the unit will switch to continuous flow at
the last continuous flow setting used.
Connect the
oxygen tubing
1 Attach the oxygen tubing
tothe oxygen outlet.
a. Use only standard
nasal cannula when
in
PulseDose
mode.
2 Fit the nasal cannula.
Plug in the power cord
or insert battery
AC Power Supply
1 Insert the AC power supply cord
into the External Power Receptacle
on the left side of the device.
2 Plug the AC power supply cord into
a grounded AC outlet.
3 The battery lights and the
External Power Indicator
willlight up on the control panel.
DC Power Supply
1 Start your vehicle.
2 Insert the DC power supply cord securely
into the External Power Receptacle
on the right side of the device.
3 Insert the plug into the DC power
outlet in your vehicle (the fuse rating
must be 15 AMP or greater).
4 The External Power Indicator
will light up on the control panel.
5 Secure the concentrator and the DC adapter
in your vehicle and make sure the air inlet
and exhaust vents are not blocked.
Note:
• Do not run more than 2 Lpm continuous
oxygen when connected to the DC power
supply to avoid draining the battery.
• Do not leave the concentrator or DC adapter
plugged into the vehicle without the engine
running or attempt to start the vehicle while
the DC adapter is connected to the vehicle.
Battery
The iGo will charge the battery any time AC
power is present and the battery temperature is
below a safe charging temperature. If external
power is disconnected, the iGo will automatically
switch over to the battery. When external AC
power is restored, the iGo will accept power from
the external source and charge the battery.
Charging the Battery
The typical time to recharge a battery from a
fully discharged condition is up to 4 hours.
Turn on the
concentrator
1 Press and hold the on/off
powerbutton for 2 seconds.
All control panel lights will
illuminate briefly with an audible alert.
Set the flow rate
1 Press the + or – button to select
your prescribed flow rate.
