Vehicle Takeover No takeover feature is available on Push-to-Start vehicles, the engine will stop when a door is opened.
Firmware notes
Warnings about Remote Start!
•To remote start the engine, all doors must be closed.
•Make sure the wipers are turned off before remote starting.
Restarting: Wait at least 2 seconds before restarting the engine or an error message can appear in the vehicle information display.
Unless specified otherwise, all connectors are displayed from the wire side, with the exception of the OBDII diagnostic connector.
Refer to the Vehicle connections section following the wiring diagram.

[1] Hood pin: The installation of an aftermarket hood pin is only required on vehicles that are not equipped with a factory hood pin or if
not supported in data.
[2] Tach: An optional connection required on some remote starters, which do not support a tach signal in D2D.
[3] Keyless Entry: Optional but required for OEM Remote Keyless Entry to operate when vehicle is remote started.
[4] Autolights: Connect the Autolight OFF wire only if the vehicle is equipped with automatic headlights.
