1. Safety Precautions
ATTENTION
Please read this manual carefully before you start to operate the detec-
tor
When operating with DoCash BIG series detector following safety pre-
cautions should be observed:
 All installation works and any service and maintenance works
should be carried out only after disconnecting the device from the
electric outlet (this work can be performed only by Service Center
employees).
 If the detector has been transported and stored under low tempera-
ture conditions, it is required to maintain the detector at least two
hours under indoor temperature before switching it on.
 To avoid break-off or damage of the cable, it is required to hold on
the power supply plug while putting it on and out from the outlet.
Also avoid such actions when your hands are wet - it may cause in
electric shock.
 Connect optional accessories only when DoCash BIG series is
turned off.
 Don’t try to knock down or repair DoCash BIG series by yourself.
 Place DoCash BIG series only on steady surface in order to avoid
fall and damage of the equipment.

2. Purpose of the currency detector
DoCash BIG series detector has been designed for visualization of
the presence and location of IR, UV marks on banknotes and securities
of any type on the banknotes (Russian Rubles, Euro, US dollars etc.),
documentary stamps, credit cards, stocks and shares, passports, certifi-
cates and other capital issues and documents with security features.
Use of the Detector allows to increase identity rate of conclusions made
with regard to authenticity of examined specimen. Final conclusions
about identity rate are made by human, exploiting the detector with the
help of his own knowledge about security features of banknotes and
documents.

The Detector conforms to the following safety requirements:
TR TS 004/2011 «Low-voltage equipment safety»;
TR TS 020/2011 «Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means».
This Manual reflects relevant information at the time of publication and may

5. Types of control provided by DoCash BIG series
Universal detectors DoCash BIG series ensure the following types of
control:
 Visualization of infra red marks in all modes of detection (except
for Macro Camera Mode).
 Visualization of special element «M»
 Transmitted white light control
 Reflected white light control
 Oblique white light control
 Micro-printing control by built-in macro camera with 10x magnifi-
cation (20x magnification for DoCash BIG D)
 Control of the general luminescence and individual fragments
 Size control
 Control of anti-stokes phosphor (DoCash BIG D)
