1. Safety Precautions
ATTENTION
Please read this manual carefully before you start to operate the detec-
tor
When operating with DoCash BIG series detector following safety pre-
cautions should be observed:
 All installation works and any service and maintenance works
should be carried out only after disconnecting the device from the
electric outlet (this work can be performed only by Service Center
employees).
 If the detector has been transported and stored under low tempera-
ture conditions, it is required to maintain the detector at least two
hours under indoor temperature before switching it on.
 To avoid break-off or damage of the cable, it is required to hold on
the power supply plug while putting it on and out from the outlet.
Also avoid such actions when your hands are wet - it may cause in
electric shock.
 Connect optional accessories only when DoCash BIG series is
turned off.
 Don’t try to knock down or repair DoCash BIG series by yourself.
 Place DoCash BIG series only on steady surface in order to avoid
fall and damage of the equipment.

trade and financial organizations. DoCash is a brand for simple and re-
liable banknote and coin counters, universal and automatic currency
detectors, vacuum packaging machines, etc. You will find any further

2. Purpose of the currency detector
DoCash BIG series detector has been designed for visualization of
the presence and location of IR, UV marks on banknotes and securities
of any type on the banknotes (Russian Rubles, Euro, US dollars etc.),
documentary stamps, credit cards, stocks and shares, passports, certifi-
cates and other capital issues and documents with security features.
Use of the Detector allows to increase identity rate of conclusions made
with regard to authenticity of examined specimen. Final conclusions
about identity rate are made by human, exploiting the detector with the
help of his own knowledge about security features of banknotes and
documents.
Declaration of Conformity
The Detector conforms to the following safety requirements:
TR TS 004/2011 «Low-voltage equipment safety»;
TR TS 020/2011 «Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means».
This Manual reflects relevant information at the time of publication and may
not include later alterations.

5. Types of control provided by DoCash BIG series
Universal detectors DoCash BIG series ensure the following types of
control:
 Visualization of infra red marks in all modes of detection (except
for Macro Camera Mode).
 Visualization of special element «M»
 Transmitted white light control
 Reflected white light control
 Oblique white light control
 Micro-printing control by built-in macro camera with 10x magnifi-
cation (20x magnification for DoCash BIG D)
 Control of the general luminescence and individual fragments
 Size control
 Control of anti-stokes phosphor (DoCash BIG D)
 Control of magnetic marks presence
Connection of remote detectors

6. Operational procedure
Main Mode
1. Put detector on a flat horizontal surface.
2. Connect the power supply observing the requirements to detector’s
supply (220 V, 50 Hz).
3. Press or bring objects to the operational area to activate the de-
tector.
4. The logo DoCash will be displayed for 2 second. After the self-test
stage the device will switch into scanning in infrared mode.
5. Place the banknotes into the operational area (see "Exterior") and con-
duct the required inspection. Use all accessible checking modes that cur-
rent DoCash BIG series detector provides.
6. If auto switching off of detector is not available, press
(Switch on/ Switch off) for termination of work.

Advanced detection modes
Once the detector is switched in the operational mode You can also use
additional modes and conduct extended study to determine the authentici-
ty of the objects.

Pressing this key allows you to check anti-stokes
phosphor. After second pressing the device returns
to the previous mode. If there is no motion in detec-
tion area, the anti-stokes laser switches off in 30
seconds. In case of any motion in working area, the
laser will switch on again.
Holding this key for 3 second, machine will enter
into SET mode.
This key allows to switch backlight of the operatio-
nal area.
Sequentially switches device backlights:
upper IR + UV, upper white light/visible light spec-
trum, IR.
Pressing this key allows you to check watermark.
Pressing of this key sequentially switches detector
modes. IR x1, Macro x10, Macro x 20 (DoCash
BIG D).
Special element “M“ visualization mode switch-on.
When in oblique light mode, pressing of “M“ key,
in addition to special element “M“ visualization,
also periodically switches upper white and upper
oblique backlight.

Visualization of optical marks
Images appear on the display of DoCash BIG series with 10x magnifica-
tion in IR, UV and visible light;
 Explore specifics of the print and its defects, detect attempts to modify
notes or documents with the methods of cleanup, labeling, etc.;
 Explore elements of microprinting;
 Check IR images under 10x magnification;
 Explore other special ways of printing.
For the banknotes of all emissions:
Bring the banknote zones, encircled by green color (refer to the lower left figure
below), to the device operation area, marked by the circle. A green luminescence
point of 0.5-1.0 mm diameter shall appear on the gray paint (refer to the lower
right figure below).
For the banknotes of 2010 emission:
There is a zone of red anti-Stokes luminescence in addition to the green lumines-
cence. Bring the serial number, located in the top right corner of the banknote
face, to the device operation area, marked by the circle. A red point of 0.5-1.0
mm diameter shall appear on the paint of the serial number.

Adjusting of operational parameters
– Pressing this key the user switches between screen settings -
brightness, contrast, saturation, automatic switch-off time, magnetic sen-
sor on/off.
Change the settings by using keys bellow the screen.
To exit the Setting mode, press which stands as button on
control panel ( in SET mode, “M” is to exit) or do not press any keys for
5 seconds, all settings will be saved in detector`s memory automatically.

7. Warranty
Guarantee period is 12 months from the delivery date subject to compli-
ance with the conditions of use and storage indicated in this Manual and
additional conditions specified in the Warranty Coupon. Manufacturer
shall be released from any obligation for the detector malfunction result-
ing from improper transportation, storage and use, as well as from me-
chanical failure.
Manufacturer is free from any obligation for the detector malfunction
caused by improper transportation, storage and use, as well as by me-
chanical damage. If during Warranty life any defects are revealed Owner
have a right to repair Detector in proper Service Centers.
8. Transportation and Storage
When transporting and storing the detector please pay attention to sym-
bols on the package.
When transporting the permissible temperature is –30°С - +50°С. Storage
of the detector is allowed at temperature +1°С - +40°С and relative hu-
midity of up to 80 % (at 25°С), non-condensing.
The detector shelf life: 2 years.

Complete delivery set of DoCash BIG series includes:

This manual contains information that is actual for the moment of publishing, and might
not contain later changes. The manufacturer maintains the right to change machine’s

Warranty period is: 12 months from the day of sale to the final user but not
more than 13 months from the day of warranty certificate issue.
Warranty is not applied in the following cases:
 non-observance of User manual requirements, careless handling and/or transportation;
 fair wear and tear of parts and units, end of consumables lifetime;
 failures, caused by engineering changes of the equipment;
 improper and/or inopportune maintenance and routine maintenance;
 repair, performed by unauthorized and unqualified personnel;
 using of non-original spare parts and removable elements during maintenance;
 non-conformity of equipment capacity and Customer’s needs, overloading of the equipment;
 damage, wear of parts and units due to intrusion of foreign particles, in the case of improper;
 maintenance of filters, intrusion of insects and/or other foreign particles;
 operation in dusty or wet room;
 low quality of the electrical main electric energy parameters;
 mechanical damages of the equipment and its parts, external electrical connections of the cables
and the grounding;
 water flood, earthquake, lightning strike and other natural disasters;
 corrections, erasements or traces of copying of warranty card, and if the warranty card is blank,
improperly or partly filled.

1. Меры предосторожности
ВНИМАНИЕ
Перед началом эксплуатации прибора, пожалуйста, внимательно
прочитайте настоящее руководство
При работе с детектором DoCash серии BIG требуется соблюдать
следующие меры безопасности:
 Любые ремонтные и сервисные работы производить только
при отсоединении прибора от сети электропитания (данные
работы производятся только сотрудниками сервисного цен-
тра).
 При транспортировке и хранении прибора в холодных усло-
виях перед включением его необходимо выдержать при ком-
натной температуре не менее 2-х часов.
 При включении и выключении прибора от сети питания
необходимо держаться только за корпус вилки питания, во
избежание разрыва или повреждения шнура. Также запреща-
ется производить подобные действия влажными руками, т. к.
это может повлечь за собой поражение электрическим током.
 Подключение любых внешних устройств разрешается прово-
дить только при выключенном приборе.
 Не пытайтесь самостоятельно разобрать или отремонтиро-
вать данное устройство.
 Во избежание падения и повреждения оборудования устанав-
ливайте его только на устойчивую поверхность.
