1. Safety regulations
The information about available notes can be
provided by the manufacturer.
Do not operate the product in areas with high
temperature or high humidity since it may
cause the unit to malfunction.
Do not disassemble this product. Incorrect re-
assembly can cause electric shock. Take it to
qualify personnel if repair is required.
Before turning on the power, please make sure
that there are no objects obstructing the
operation of the rollers and wheels.
Unplug this product from the outlet before
cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol
cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning the
cover.

Purpose
DoCash Vega – reliable and practical currency detector, which
allows to differ the genuine banknote from a counterfeit one.
Detector supports various currencies detection and genuineness
checking of every main machine-readable security feature. The
final approval on genuineness must come from an expert in person.
Declaration of Conformity
The counter conforms to the following safety requirements:
General - GOST IEC 60950-1-2011,
Electromagnetic compatibility - GOST R 51318.22-2006.
TR TS 004/2011 «Low-voltage equipment safety»;
TR TS 020/2011 «Electromagnetic compatibility of technical
means».
This manual contains information that is actual for the moment of
publishing, and may not contain the latest changes.
The manufacturer may change machine’s specifications and control
algorithms.

3. Using the machine
3.1. Power
Connect the power device (from 110V to 220V) to the machine
with DC9V power slot.
Lithium accumulator (optional): Fully charged accumulator
allows the machine to work without connection to the power
source.
3.2.Switching on
The machine will conduct a self-
check at start-up. The counterfeit
detection function is activated along
with the machine starting up.
3.3. Function Setting
Currency passing Direction: Press and hold the DIRECTION
key for 3 seconds to change the currency passing direction.
The Direction symbol will change between “ ” and “ ”.
This direction means that genuine notes exit from the
Currency exit slot, and counterfeit notes exit from the
Currency input slot.
This direction means that both genuine and counterfeit notes
exit from the Currency input slot.

3.4. Inserting the banknotes correctly
Please, put the notes inside the detector carefully as it is
shown on the picture 1. The machine will not check the note
and respond with an error message , if the note is not put
correctly.
Banknotes of any orientation must be placed near the left side, as
it show on picture 1.

Pictures 2 and 3 show the wrong way of putting the note into the
machine.
Banknote must be carefully pressed with a long side to the left
side of the input section and smoothly inserted along the
parallel machine position.

After a note was inserted, the detecting system will check it and
then alert the user with an audible signal, indicating whether the
banknote is genuine one or fake one.
If the note is genuine, the signal will be shown on the
display. If the note is not genuine, the signal will be shown on
the display.

4. Daily maintenance
If a note was jammed in the machine - turn off the power and
remove the banknote carefully.
Please clean the sensors or replace the damaged sensors, if
necessary.
Open the top cover upward. Use a soft brush to clear the sensors.

CAUTION
It is recommended to follow the regulations of a correct note input,
because it helps to avoid false error detection. It is doesn’t mean that
the note is not genuine. Such note must be checked again in different
orientation.

5. Software updating
1. Switch the machine OFF.
2. Connect the machine to the PC with a PC connection cable, provided
with the machine. The necessary driver must be installed.
3. Run the Updating program exe-file.

4. Select the corresponding COM port which connects the machine
to the PC.
5. Press «Update» to run the update procedure. The program will
show the message «Checking target MCU»
6. Switch the detector Off after 2-3 seconds. The program will
show the message «Complete» after about 10 seconds. The
software will be updated.
7. Switch the detector Off. Close the program. Unplug the USB
cable.

6. Transport and storage
When transporting and storing the counter follow the symbols on
the package. When transporting the permissible temperature is
from –30°Сto +50°С. Storage of the counter is allowed at
temperature from +1°Сto +40°Сand relative humidity of up to 80
% (at 25°С), noncondensing.

8. Warranty
Guarantee period is 12 months from the delivery date subject to
compliance with the conditions of use and storage indicated in this
Manual and additional conditions specified in the Warranty
Coupon Manufacturer shall be released from any obligation for the
counter malfunction resulting from improper transportation,
storage and use, as well as from mechanical failure.

1. Инструкции по безопасности
Информация одопустимых банкнотах уточняется у
поставщика.
Не используйте устройство взонах высокой
температуры ивлажности, поскольку это
может привести котказу работы устройства.
Не разбирайте устройство самостоятельно.
Вслучае необходимости ремонта
предоставьте устройство специалисту.
Перед включением устройства, убедитесь в
отсутствии посторонних объектов, которые
могут помешать работе механизмов
устройства.
Отсоедините шнур питания от розетки
перед очисткой устройства. Не используйте
жидкие чистящие средства или аэрозоли.
Для очистки поверхности используйте
чистую влажную ткань.

Назначение детектора
Детектор DoCash Vega – надежный иудобный в
использовании автоматический детектор банкнот. Он
позволяет отличать поддельные банкноты от настоящих. Виды
детекции, представленные вданном приборе: магнитная,
инфракрасная, спектр, длина ит.д.
Использование детектора позволяет повысить достоверность
выводов оподлинности исследуемых образцов.
Окончательные выводы оподлинности образца делаются
человеком, использующим детектор исобственные знания о
характеристиках подлинных банкнот иценных бумаг.

Детектор соответствует требованиям норм безопасности:
Общих по ГОСТ IEC 60950-1-2011.
Электромагнитной совместимости по ГОСТ Р51318.22-2006

3. Порядок работы
3.1. Питание устройства
Подключите блок питания крозетке мощностью от 110V до
220V кустройству, используя разъем питания DC9V.
Литиевый аккумулятор (опция): При полном заряде
аккумулятора устройство может работать без подключения к
блоку питания.
3.2.Включение устройства
При запуске проводится
автоматическая проверка
устройства. Функции
распознавания подозрительных
банкнот активируются при
готовности устройства кработе.
3.3. Установка параметров
Направление выхода банкноты: Уд е р ж и в а й т е клавишу
DIRECTION втечение 3 секунд для изменения направления
выхода банкноты.
Символ направления выхода банкноты отображается
как “”или “”.
Данное направление означает, что подлинные банкноты
будут выданы через Отверстие выдачи банкноты, а
подозрительные банкноты через Отверстие подачи
банкноты.

Отверстие подачи банкноты.
