youshouldNOTusecodesthatareeasytofigureoutlike
birthdatesandshouldNOTstorewrittencodes.

B. BEFORE FIRST USE
Openthedoor,andinstall4AAbatteries(notincluded)into
theexternalbatterycaselocatedinsidethedoor
Thesafeisnowreadyforuse.
C. CODE SETTINGS
1. CHANGEMASTERCODE:
Withthedooropen,inputtheoriginalmaster
code, andpressRESET.Whenthedisplay
reads"NEU"youcaninputa new6-digitmaster
codeandpressLOCK.Afteritdisplays"AGAIN,"
inputthenewmastercodeonemoretime,and
pressLOCKagain.Ifyousucceedthedisplay
willread"DONE,"whichindicatesthemaster
codehasbeenchanged.
2. CHANGEPERSONALCODE:
Entera 4-6digitpersonalcode,closethedoor,andpressLOCK.Thedisplaywillread"CLOSE,"andthen
"CLOSED."Thenthenewpersonalcodedisplaysbrieflyindicatingithasbeenchanged.
D.OPENINGTHEDOOR
1. Toopenthelockeddoor,inputyourpersonalcodeorthemastercode.TheLEDdisplaywillread"OPEN"if the
entrycodeisvalid,then"OPENED."Thedoorwillunlockautomatically.Otherwise,thedisplaywillread"E-CODE"
andremainlocked.
E. CLOSING THEDOOR
IfyoupressLOCKwithin10minutesafteropeningthedoor,theLEDdisplaywillread"CLOSED,"thentheformer
personalcodewillappearbriefly.Thislocksthesafeusingthesamepersonalcode.
IfyoupressLOCKafter10 minutesormore,oryouopenedthedoorbymastercode,youshouldinputyourpersonal
code(4-6digits)andpresstheLOCKkey.Whenyouclosethedoor,theLEDdisplaywillread"CLOSE."Whenthe
dooriscloseditwillread"CLOSED"anddisplaythecodes.
NOTICE:ThedoorMUSTbecompletelyclosedforthedoortolock.Ensurethedoorhasbeenpushedclosed
beforepressingLOCK.
F. EMERGENCY OPENING
Ifyouhaveforgottenyourpersonalcodeorforotherreasonsthesafecannotbe
opened, youcanusetheemergencykeyorthemastercodetoopenthedoorInsert
thekeywiththenotchfacingupward.RefertoFigure3.

PressRESETtwotimes,thenpressLOCKtoenablethehiddencodefunction.Whenyouinputthecodes,itonly
displays"•"onthescreen.Repeattheprocedure,andthecodedisplaywillberecovered.

H. SECURITY AGAINSTUNAUTHORIZED ACCESS ANDLOW BATTERIES
1. HOLD:
Ifyouinputanincorrectcode3 times,thekeypadwillbelockedfor15minutes.Duringthisperiod,therewill
benoresponsewhenpressinganykey,andthedisplaywillread"HOLD+DIGIT."After15minutes,itwill
returntonormaloperation.
2. LOWVOLTAGE:
Whenthevoltageislowerthan5V,whetherthedoorisopenorclosed,itwillread"LO-BAT"onthedisplay.
Replacebatteriesimmediately.Theemergencykeywillbeneededifthebatteriesarecompletelydepleted.
3.RESET:
Resetisalsoa deletionkey.Pressingonetimewilldeleteonedigit
