Toro Battery Charger
Battery Specifications
The Toro battery is a Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery. It’s best to think in terms of three
regarding Toro battery specifications.
Power: On average the Toro battery when fully charged will provide power for up to 3
hours of continuous printing.
Sleep Mode: The Toro battery can rest in “sleep mode” while in the Toro printer
without recharging for an average of 30 hours.
Charge: On average, the Toro battery requires 3hours charge time if the charge is
below 10% of power. When charging with Toro battery charger, place the Toro battery
on a clean, dry surface away from heat and direct sunlight.
Battery Life: To maximize the long-range life of your Toro battery charge it fully every
3months whether the battery has been used or not. Lithium batteries will self-
discharge over time. The Toro battery will take more than 3hundred lifetime charges.
Warranty
The Toro battery is warranted for 90 days from date of purchase.
Toro Rechargeable Battery
Congratulations on your purchase of the Toro battery system. You now have complete
freedom to print labels and signs anytime, anywhere…. even at remote sites.

Battery Loading
The Toro battery conveniently mounts into the back of Toro. Remove the battery
cover door by pushing the battery release button downward. Position the battery so
the cut-outs are aligned and the contacts are in position with the contact interface.
Push the battery in until the locking slider on the right of the battery locks into the
up position.
Battery Charging
Your Toro battery came with a charging unit that lets you charge using power from
your wall outlet.
Plug the charging unit into
the Toro battery then into
the wall outlet. The light on
top of the charging unit will
illuminate red which means
the battery does need
charging. When the charger
light illuminates green, your
Toro battery is charged and
ready for use.
Maximum charging time is three hours if the battery has less than 10% of its charge.
Storage
• Torobatterystoragetemperatureisbetween10°C and 30°C.
• KeeptheTorobatteryawayfromhumidityandcorrosiveenvironments.
• ChargetheTorobatteryuntilisitcompletelychargedbeforedisconnectingfrom
the charging unit.
• StoretheTorobatteryinacool,dryplacebutnotbelow-20°C.
• ChecktheTorobatteryeverythreemonthsandrechargeit.
