Before you install this kit — Read and understand all
instructions, warnings, cautions, and notes contained in
this installation instruction guide. Consult your vehicle
owner’s manual for proper disconnection of electrical and
lifting of vehicle if required for installation of this product.
This install may require some technical skills and
knowledge of basic mechanical work. If you do not feel that
you are capable of performing this install please take this
product to a trained professional.

recommended procedures for removal and installation of original
equipment components. We recommend that the factory shop manual
and any special tools needed to service your vehicle be on hand during

components and the safety of the vehicle

STEP 1
Begin by unpacking all items and
inspecting for missing pieces or
damage. If you have any concerns,
please contact the company the
product was purchased from.
STEP 2
With the hood open, using a 10mm
socket, remove the two bolts securing
grille to the vehicle.
(6) M14x35 Bolts
(6) M14 Lock Nuts
(12) M14 Washers
Hardware Included:
(4) M6x20 Bolts
(4) M6 Lock Nuts
(8) M6 Washers

STEP 3
Use the push pin removal tool to
remove the two plastic push pins
located on both sides of the grille.
STEP 4
Use the push pin removal tool to
unplug the air sensor harness on the
backside of the grille.

Remove the grille, by pulling straight
out towards the front of the vehicle.
NOTE: Avoid pulling at an angle to prevent
damage to grille clips.
STEP 6
Using push pin removal tool, remove
the four push pins securing the
bumper to the vehicle.

Unclip the fog light harness located
on top of the bumper in front of
radiator.

Using the push pin removal tool,
remove the push pin holding the
fog light harness from the bumper
support crossmember.

In each fender, remove the rst
two bolts closest to the front of the
vehicle using an 10mm. There are two
clips securing the front section of
the fender to the bumper. To remove
these clips, reach inside the wheel
well and squeeze the pushdown tabs
and push clips out.
NOTE: Fender should only be partially
removed.

Using a 10mm remove the nine
factory bolts on the bottom of the
bumper.

Remove bumper pulling it forward
from the vehicle.
NOTE: Pull under each headlight straight
out to release hidden clips holding the
bumper to the vehicle.
Disconnect the wheel well orange
clips crash bar support.

Remove the black plastic insert from
the aluminum crash bar by squeezing
the backside of the clips and pulling
away from the vehicle.

Using a 14mm deep well socket,
loosen three of the nuts to release
tension on the crash bar mount.
NOTE: Only one side must be loosened to
relieve tension on the assembly. If you do
not do this, you will damage the threads
on the frame mounting location.

Using the 14mm socket or wrench,
remove the three nuts located on
both sides of the crash bar. Remove
crash bar and set off to the side since
this will not be reused.

Using a 17mm socket, remove the
two bolts securing the “L” brackets
located on both ends of the underside
of the front frame crossmember.

Using the 17mm socket, remove the
remaining bolt on the underside
of the front frame crossmember to
remove the frame extension. Repeat
on opposite side.

On the DV8 bumper, begin by
attaching the wings using 21mm
socket and wrench and the provided
M14 hardware.

If running 3” pods on the wings,
install them using the hardware
provided with the lights.
NOTE: We are running two 3” DV8 elite pod
lights
STEP 20
In the center of the bumper, you
can run an optional dual row light
bar up to 20”. Using the “U” shaped
bracket provided, attached to bumper
using the M6 hardware. Mount light
to bracket with hardware and light
mounts provided with the light.

Lift your bumper to the vehicle and
align it with the studs where the
crash bar was mounted. With a 14mm
socket or wrench, thread the factory
nuts you removed in step 14 onto
the studs until bumper is loosely
mounted.
NOTE: An extra pair of hands will make
this process easier.

Reinstall the factory bolts from step 8
using a 10mm onto the bottom of the
DV8 bumper.
Reinstall grille in the same manner
it came out, using the guide pins
for reference. Using a 10mm and two
factory bolts and push pins from step
1, secure the grille.

Center the bumper on the vehicle,
ensure the ends of the wings are at
equal distances and heights from the
headlights. Using the 14mm socket,
tighten bumper until secure.

Measure space between headlights
and bumper prior to cutting.
See template for approximate
measurements.
NOTE: For our install, we left 1” extra and
trimmed as necessary as we t the side
panels into place to get the best cut
possible.

When cutting bumper, leave brace
that attaches both side panels
together on the underside of the grille.
Using scissors or a razor blade, trim
the inner fenders, keeping the most
mounting points you can while
clearing the bumper.
STEP 27
Once panels are trimmed, install onto
vehicle with bumper, and secure with
factory clips. Trim fenders
(if equipped) to match bumper wings.
