Thank you for buying a new Hu-Friedy & EMS product. It meets the highest quality and safety standards.
Your AIR-FLOW MASTER is a combination of two air polishing units.
It is for use in dentistry with Hu-Friedy & EMS AIR-FLOW systems.
This product functions with the powders and the systems supplied by Hu-Friedy & EMS.
The connement of the powder by a water jet makes it possible to steer the water jet with great precision
and thus ensures a pleasant treatment for your patient.
This product removes dental plaque, soft deposits and surface stains from pits, grooves, interproximal
spaces or smooth surfaces of the teeth.
Applications
• Plaque removal for placement of sealants,
• Surface preparation prior to bonding/cementation of inlays, onlays, crowns and veneers,
• Surface preparation prior to placing composite restorations,
• Cleaning prior to bonding of orthodontic brackets,
• Effective plaque and stain removal for orthodontic patients,
• Clean implant xture prior to loading,
• Stain removal for shade determination,
• Plaque removal prior to uoride treatment,
• Plaque and stain removal prior to whitening procedure.

Votre AIR-FLOW MASTER est la combinaison de deux aéropolisseurs.
Cet appareil est utilisé en dentisterie avec les systèmes AIR-FLOW Hu-Friedy & EMS.
Ce produit fonctionne avec les poudres et les systèmes fournis par Hu-Friedy & EMS.
Le connement de la poudre par un jet d’eau permet d’obtenir une direction précise du jet et, par
conséquent, un traitement agréable pour votre patient.
Ce produit permet l’élimination de la plaque dentaire, des dépôts mous et des colorations, présents sur
les faces visibles des dents, des sillons ou des espaces proximaux.
Applications
• Élimination de la plaque pour la pose de sealant,
• Préparation des surfaces avant la pose d’inlays, de couronnes ou de facettes,
• Préparation des surfaces avant restauration avec des composites,
• Nettoyage avant la pose de brackets,

PERIO-FLOW system (optional)
This product must only be used by a qualied personnel (dentist or dental hygienist).
This product should only be used with powders supplied by Hu-Friedy & EMS for a subgingival application.
This product remove the subgingival biolm during periodic periodontal treatments. Its long ne nozzle
was specically developed for easy access inside the periodontal pocket.
For further details concerning the treatments, please refer to the instruction which are supplied with your
AIR-FLOW or PERIO-FLOW systems. Please do not hesitate to contact your local Hu-Friedy & EMS
dealer for further information.
The instructions in this manual cover the combined use of an AIR-FLOW handpiece and a PERIO-
FLOW handpiece. Please refer only to instructions related to AIR-FLOW handpiece when a PERIO-FLOW
handpiece is not present.
Contra-indications:
Please refer to operation instructions of the related system.
