2. If the device becomes immersed in liquid of any kind or exposed to severe
damp, check for function and if necessary report to practitioner immediately.
3. Not to expose the batteries to a naked flame.
4. Dis-assembly and repair of Smart IP must only be carried out by
authorised personnel.
5. Avoid strong magnetic fields, sources of electrical interference, atmospheres
containing powders and liquids and extremes of temperature.
6. Contact Blatchford Products Limited for advice if limb is to be fitted to an
amputee using a pacemaker, hearing aid or any other electronic device.
In normal service an Endolite limb should be inspected annually to check for correct function,
lubrication and security of assembly.
