Congratulations on the purchase of your Pacica Platform Bed. This bed has been crafted to the highest
standards of quality and safety and will give you many years of enjoyment and practical use.
On this insert you will nd a list of the hardware and platform bed parts as well as detailed assembly instructions.
Assembly is quite simple and requires only a at head screwdriver and a Phillips head screwdriver. The use of a power
drill with Phillips head attachment is helpful but not necessary. Assembly will be most easily accomplished if you take
the time to carefully sort the hardware and familiarize yourself with the function of each piece.

Unroll the slat bundle strap side down onto the side
rails distributing them evenly from end to end.
Starting with the rst slat, and last slat, secure the slats
to the side ledges with 30 mm slat screws using a Phillips
head screwdriver. A power screwdriver with clutch set on
low is useful here.
Insert the center support to the bottom
of the brackets. Drive two 20mm wood
screws through the hole in the side of the
headboard bracket with a Phillips Head
screwdriver. Then drive another two wood
screws through the hole in the side of the
footboard bracket into the opposite end
of the center support.
Attach the drop support to the center
support by placing the barrel nut into the
hole in the side of the drop support. Then
insert a 70mm bolt into the countersunk
hole and through the center support into
the barrel nut. Tighten with the Hex key
provided (C).
If you have the TWIN size bed, skip Step (2) & (3) and go to Step (4).
Make sure the slat rail is facing the inside of the bed then slide one rail into
the grooves of the headboard (A). Repeat this process with the other side rail.
Next, do the same with the other end of the rails into the footboard (B).
Then tap the top of the rail ends gently with a rubber mallet to make sure
the connections are secure.
