Overview
The fos/4 Panel Double-Yoke allows you to support two small
fos/4 Panel fixtures (fos4PL8 or fos4PD8) with a single yoke.
Remove the yokes from the fos/4 Panel fixtures and install the
Double-Yoke using the instructions that follow.
WARNING: In addition to primary suspension,
attach a safety cable (or other approved safety
device) to the fixture. Safety cables must be
rated to support ten times the fixture weight.
Consult local standards to ensure that safety
cables meet all requirements.
Follow all safety precautions described in the
fos/4 Panel User Manual , which is available for
download at etcconnect.com.

Remove the fos/4 Panel Yokes
Tool required:13 mm socket wrench
1. Beginning on one side of the first fixture, turn the tilt-lock counter-
clockwise until you can remove it from the yoke.
2. Use the 13 mm socket wrench to remove the yoke bolt.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 on the opposite side of the fixture, and then
remove the yoke from the fixture.
4. Remove the plate, washers, spacer, and tilt-lock bolt.

Yoke:

6. Retain the fos/4 Panel yoke for future re-installation.
7. Repeat steps 1–6 on the second fixture.

Hardware Reference
The list below includes the kit hardware (clutch-plate covers and clutch-plate cover bolts), and the
yoke hardware that you remove from the two standard yokes and use to secure the double-yoke.

Install the Double-Yoke
Tools required:Phillips screwdriver, 13 mm socket wrench
1. Position a clutch-plate cover on one end of the yoke, and use a
Phillips screwdriver to secure it with two clutch-plate cover bolts.
Repeat the process to attach a clutch-plate cover to the other
side of the yoke.
2. Position the two fixtures facedown on a flat surface, aligned as
they will be when attached to the Double-Yoke.
3. Position the Double-Yoke to align with the sides of the two
fixtures.

Attach
top fixture
Use the original yoke hardware to loosely attach the Double-
Yoke to one side of the top fixture, and then repeat the action on
the other side of the top fixture.
•
Make sure that the plate is captured by both the tilt-lock bolt
andthe yoke bolt.
•
Make sure that the head of the tilt-lock bolt is behind the
circularclutch plate on the fixture (see image below).

5. Repeat step 4 for the bottom fixture.
6. Use the 13 mm socket wrench to tighten all the yoke bolts, securing the Double-Yoke to the two
fixtures.
7. Tighten the tilt-locks to secure the fixture positions within the Double-Yoke.
