Volume de livraison Scope of delivery
Vérier si l'Air n'a pas subi de dommages

Check whether the Air has been damaged
in transit. If this is the case, do not start
up the device.
Préparation Set-up
Votre Air est connecté via le réseau Wi-Fi et
peut être géré avec votre smartphone ou la
télécommande.
- Assurez-vous que votre routeur Wi-Fi est al-
lumé et raccordé à Internet
- Vérier les paramètres du routeur. Pour ce
faire, veuillez vous reporter à la notice d'uti-
lisation du routeur. Le DHCP doit être activé.
- Le système Wi-Fi doit être conforme au
moins à la norme IEEE 802.11b/g.
Téléchargez l'application ETON dans l'APP
store de votre smartphone ou de votre tablette.
Selon le système d'exploitation, téléchargez
l'application dans l'APP Store Apple pour les
périphériques IOS, ou dans Google Play Store
pour les appareils Android™.
Your Air is connected via the Wi-Fi network
and can be operated using your smartphone
or the remote control.
- Make sure that your Wi-Fi router is switched
on and connected to the Internet
- Note the router's settings. Read the router's
instruction manual for further information.
DHCP should be activated.
- The Wi-Fi system should comply with the
IEEE 802.11b/g specications as a mini-
mum.
Download the ETON app to your smartphone
or tablet from the app stores. Depending on the
operating system, download the app for iOS de-
vices from the Apple App Store and the app for
Android™ devices from the Google Play Store.

Mise en service Start-up
Branchez le cordon d'alimentation fourni à
la prise électrique(3) de l'Air et la prise de
courant.
Appuyez sur l'interrupteur d'alimentation(2).
Le logo ETON du bouton rotatif(1) clignote
alternativement en vert / blanc pendant env.
50sec.
Connect the included power cable to the pow-
er socket (3) on the Air and the mains power
supply.
Press the power switch (2). The ETON logo on
the dial (1) ashes in alternating green/white
for approximately 50 seconds.

Se raccorder au réseau Wi-Fi Connecting to the Wi-Fi
network
Attention: assurez-vous que votre routeur
Wi-Fi est activé et que votre smartphone ou
tablette, tout comme votre AIR, se trouvent à
portée de transmission Wi-Fi de votre routeur.
Warning: Make sure that your Wi-Fi router
is switched on and that your smartphone or
tablet, as well as your AIR, is within your Wi-
Fi router's transmission range.
Install the ETON AIR app. This is available in
the following stores: www.etonair.com/
app
Make sure that the AIR speaker is switched on.
At rst, the LED display on the dial (1) will ash
in alternating green/white for approximately
50 seconds. After 50 seconds, the ETON LED
will ash white. The Air speaker is now ready
to be set up with Wi-Fi.

or tablet and follow the set-up wizard in the
app.

onnée, vous avez également la possibilité d'uti-
liser les assistants de conguration de votre ap-
pareil IOS (Apple).
As an alternative to the above-mentioned Wi-Fi
connection, you can also use the set-up wizard
on your iOS (Apple) device.
Raccorder à Airplay d'Apple Connecting to Apple Airplay
Attention: cette étape de conguration
ne peut être utilisée que si la LED ETON
clignote en blanc.
Warning: This set-up step is only availa-
ble when the ETON LED is ashing white.

- Now follow the steps provided by the Air-
play set-up wizard on your smartphone or

- Once successfully set up, the ETON LED will
be constantly lit up in white
- Use the Airplay function in the individual
player apps (D)

- The ETON Air speaker will be displayed.
- Activate the connection on your smartpho-
ne/tablet. The display will change to show
that you are now connected.
- The ETON LED on the dial (1) will now chan-
ge to blue. You are now connected and can
begin playback.
Se raccorder au Bluetooth Connecting to Bluetooth
Si vous ne voulez pas utiliser l'enceinte Air
avec le réseau Wi-Fi, vous pouvez quand
même proter de votre musique par Bluetooth.
If you want to use your Air speaker without
connecting to the Wi-Fi network, you can still
enjoy your music via Bluetooth.

Se raccorder à AUX Connecting to AUX
- Raccordez le câble jack AUX à l'entrée AUX
(7) de l'enceinte Air et au connecteur corre-
spondant de votre périphérique externe.
- Connect the included AUX jack cable to the
AUX input (7) on the Air speaker and to the
output of your external device.
Même s'il n'y a aucune connexion Wi-Fi, vous
avez quand même la possibilité de connecter
des périphériques externes via l'entrée AUX et
de proter de la lecture via votre enceinte Air.
Even if there is no Wi-Fi connection, you still
have the option of connecting external devices
via the AUX input and can still enjoy playback
via your Air speaker.

- Utilisez la télécommande fournie pour bas-
culer votre enceinte Air sur l'entrée AUX en
appuyant sur la touche AUX. La LED ETON
du bouton rotatif(1) passe désormais au
vert.
- Démarrez la lecture de votre périphérique
externe.

- By pressing the AUX button on the included
remote control, you switch your Air speaker
to the AUX input. The ETON LED on the dial
(1) will change to green.
- Start the playback on your external device.
- You can adjust the volume with the dial (1)
as well as with the remote control.
Note your external device's output volume.

external device.

Connexion USB Connecting to USB
Raccordez une clé USB au port USB(5). Res-
pectez les formats de lecture décrits dans les
spécications techniques.
En cas de connexion Wi-Fi, vous pouvez ac-
tiver la source via l'application ETON Air. La
LED ETON du bouton rotatif(1) passe désor-
mais au jaune.
Vous pouvez également activer la source USB
à l'aide de la télécommande fournie.
Connect a ash drive to the USB input (5).
Note the playback formats as described in the
technical details.
If connected to Wi-Fi, you can activate the sour-
ce via the ETON Air app. The ETON LED on
the dial (1) will change to yellow.
You can also activate the USB source using the
included remote control.

Lecture de musique via USB Playback by using USB
Si vous ne souhaitez pas utiliser votre smart-
phone ou votre tablette, mais que vous souha-
itez lire du contenu audio à partir d'une clé
USB, vous pouvez sélectionner la source USB
avec la télécommande et lancer la lecture de la
première piste sur la clé USB avec la touche de
lecture. Les boutons avant - arrière vous permet-
tent de passer à d'autres titres de votre choix.
Si l'AIR est en mode veille profonde et qu'une
clé USB est branchée, vous pouvez démarrer
la lecture en appuyant sur le bouton de marche
de la télécommande.
If you do not want to use your smartphone or
tablet for playing audio contents, you have ad-
ditional the ability to use only the remote con-
trol of your AIR speaker. Therefore you could
choose the USB source by pressing on the USB
button. The playback of the rst track starts by
pressing the play button on the remote control.
With the previous - next buttons you could
change the music track.
When the AIR speaker is in deep standby mode
and the USB ash drive is plugged in, you have
to wake up the AIR speaker by pressing the
standby button and the playback starts.

Le bouton rotatif situé à l'avant de votre encein-
te Air remplit plusieurs fonctions. Il sert d'élé-
ment d'afchage, mais peut également remplir
d'autres fonctions.
The control dial on the front of your Air speaker
is used for various functions. It serves as a dis-
play element but can also carry out functions.
- Tournez la bague extérieure dans le sens
des aiguilles d'une montre ou son sens cont-
raire permet d'augmenter ou de diminuer le
volume de lecture
- En appuyant légèrement sur le logo ETON,
vous pouvez interrompre ou réactiver la lec-

- By turning the outer ring clockwise or anti-
clockwise, you can increase or decrease the
playback volume

pause and resume playback (does not work
in AUX mode)

Vous pouvez déconnecter complètement votre
AIR du secteur sans avoir à débrancher le câb-
le électrique. Pour ce faire, appuyez sur l'inter-
rupteur d'alimentation(2) au dos de l'appareil.
Assurez-vous qu'il s'enclenche correctement.
Ceci est recommandé si vous ne souhaitez pas
utiliser l'appareil pendant une période pro-
longée.
Utilisez l'un des câbles électriques fournis, fai-
tes attention au type de connecteur, le raccor-
dement électrique peut varier en fonction du
pays dans lequel vous vous trouvez. Veuillez
vous informer au préalable sur les tensions
en vigueur dans chaque pays. Des courants
de service incorrects peuvent provoquer un
court-circuit ou un mauvais fonctionnement

Use one of the included power cables, making
sure to choose the one with the right type of
connection since power connections can vary
from country to country. Please nd out about
the conventional voltages in each country in
advance. The wrong operating current could
cause defects in the device or cause it to
short-circuit. Connect the cable to the device
rst and then connect it to the mains power
supply.
You can disconnect your AIR from the power
supply entirely without having to pull out the
power cable. To do this, press the power switch
(2) on the back of the device. Make sure that
the switch is fully switched off. This is recom-
mended if you are not planning on using the
device for some time.

Si votre enceinte Air est hors de portée de votre
réseau Wi-Fi, vous pouvez également utiliser

If your Air speaker is located outside the trans-
mission range of your Wi-Fi network, you can
use the Air speaker via the Ethernet connecti-
on. To do this, connect the Ethernet socket (4) to
the Ethernet connection in your home network.
Remarque : veuillez noter qu'en cas
d'utilisation de la connexion Ethernet de
l'enceinte Air, la lecture USB ne sera pas
activée.
Note: Please note that when using the
Air speaker's Ethernet connection, USB
playback will not be active.

Si vous souhaitez réinitialiser les connexions
Wi-Fi ou si le système de l'appareil se plan-
te, il est possible de réinitialiser l'enceinte aux
données d'usine (factory data reset).
À cet effet, voir les instructions de la page 14,
point «connexion USB». For more information, see page 14 of this ma- nual, the section entitled "Connecting to USB".
If you want to reset your Wi-Fi connection or
if the device experiences a system crash, the
Air speaker can be restored to factory settings
(Factory Data Reset).

dant env. 7sec. La LED ETON clignote.

- Switch the Air speaker off and on again
after approximately ve seconds or longer
using the power switch (2).
- The Air speaker is now in delivery condition
and you can begin setting it up as described
previously.

Vous pouvez brancher un écouteur stéréo avec
une prise jack 3,5mm à l'entrée de l'écouteur.

You can connect headphones with a 3.5 mm
audio jack to the headphone input.
As soon as the headphones are connected, the
Air's internal speakers will be switched off.
