LUX™ LCD Multi-Cooker Quick Start Guide
Thank you for purchasing the Fagor LUX™ LCD Multi-Cooker. Before you begin
using the unit, please read the Important Safeguards section of the user manual.
Parts of the LUX™ LCD Multi-Cooker
Steamer Basket & Trivet
OPEN CLOSE
LCD Screen: Interactive screen displays all
the functions and settings. Screen is blue
when programing your settings, and turns
green when unit is cooking.
START/STOP: Used to start & stop the unit.
ADJUST: Used when you want to adjust
pressure, temperature and cooking time.
KEEP WARM: Used to warm your food.
Will also automatically KEEP WARM once
cooking has ended.
DIAL KNOB: Turn knob navigates through
the different functions and settings.
MENU: Used to return to the main menu.
TIME DELAY: Used to delay cooking
process. Push TIME DELAY and use the
dial to adjust the time when cooking should
being.
PANEL LOCK: Used to lock and unlock the
buttons. To lock or unlock, press and hold
the button.
1. At the end of the cooking time, the
Multi-Cooker will switch to KEEP
WARM until you push START/STOP.
2. Do not fill the pot more than 2/3 full
with. Do not fill the unit more than ½
full when cooking foods that expand
during cooking.
3. The silicone gasket should always be
properly positioned on the lid or the
unit will not work. Check the gasket
periodically to make sure that it is
clean, flexible, and not torn.
4. To set your own recipe for pressure
cook or slow cook you can always use
the CUSTOM setting, use the adjust
button or press the knob to adjust
level and time.
About the Regulator Knob:
• For the Pressure, Grain, Eggs, and Dessert functions always make sure the PRESSURE setting on the
regulator knob is set by aligning the dot under PRESSURE with the dot on the base.
• For the Slow Cook and Steam settings always make sure the STEAM setting on the regulator knob is set
by aligning the dot under STEAM with the dot on the base.
• For Brown and Sauté settings always leave the lid off.
To Clean the Regulator Knob:
1. Press down while turning the pressure regulator knob
counterclockwise past STEAM to the CLEAN setting.
2. Carefully lift to remove for cleaning.

Step 1
Plug the unit into a power
outlet. Turn the dial to
select a main function.
Each selection will blink
until you press the knob to
select the function.

Turn the dial to select a
setting. Each selection will
blink until you press the
knob to select the setting.

Step 3
The preset time and
temperature will appear at
the top right of the screen.
To adjust the time and/or
pressure use the dial. Use
the ADJUST button to
switch between adjusting
the time and pressure
setting. Press
START/STOP to start
cooking.
Step 4
The unit will beep once the
cooking time ends and will
continue to been until you
release the pressure. It will
automatically turn to the
KEEP WARM function until
you press START/STOP to
cancel the program. Once
all the pressure is released
you can open the lid.
