Faulty and/or discarded electrical or electronic apparatus have to be collected
at the appropriate recycling locations.
Danger
a) Keephandsaway from cutting area and theblade.Keepyour second hand on auxiliary
handle,ormotor housing. If both hands areholdingthesaw,they cannot be cutbythe blade.
b) Donotreachunderneaththeworkpiece.The guard cannot protect you from the blade
belowtheworkpiece.
c) Adjustthecuttingdepthtothethicknessoftheworkpiece.Lessthanafulltoothoftheblade
teethshouldbevisiblebelowtheworkpiece.
d) Neverholdpiecebeingcutinyourhandsoracrossyourleg.Securetheworkpiecetoa
stableplatform.Itisimportanttosupporttheworkproperlytominimizebodyexposure,
bladebinding,orlossofcontrol.
e) Holdpowertoolbyinsulatedgrippingsurfaceswhenperforminganoperationwherethe
cuttingtoolmaycontacthiddenwiringoritsowncord.Contactwitha"live"wirewillalso
makeexposedmetalpartsofthepowertool"live"andshocktheoperator.
f) Whenrippingalwaysusearipfenceorstraightedgeguide.This improves the accuracy of
cutandreducesthechanceofbladebinding.
g) Alwaysusebladeswithcorrectsizeandshape(diamondversusround)ofarbourholes.
Bladesthatdonotmatchthemountinghardwareofthesawwillruneccentrically,causing
lossofcontrol.
h) Neverusedamagedorincorrectbladewashersorbolt.The blade washers and bolt were
speciallydesignedforyoursaw, for optimum performance and safety of operation.
Causes and operator prevention of kickback
• Kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched, bound or misaligned saw blade, causing
an uncontrolled saw to lift up and out of the workpiece toward the operator;
• When the blade is pinched or bound tightly by the kerf closing down, the blade stalls
and the motor reaction drives the unit rapidly back toward the operator;
• If the blade becomes twisted or misaligned in the cut, the teeth at the back edge of
the blade can dig into the top surface of the wood causing the blade to climb out of
the kerf and jump back toward the operator.
Kickback is the result of saw misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures or conditions
and can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below.
a) Maintainafirmgripwithbothhandsonthesawandpositionyourarmstoresistkickback
forces.Positionyourbodytoeithersideoftheblade,butnotinlinewiththeblade.Kickback
couldcausethesawtojumpbackwards,butkickbackforcescanbecontrolledbythe
operator, if proper precautions are taken.
b) Whenblade isbinding,or wheninterruptinga cutfor any reason,release thetriggerand hold
thesaw motionlessinthe materialuntilthe bladecomes to acomplete stop.Neverattempt to
removethe sawfromthe workorpull thesaw backward whilethe bladeisin motionorkickback
mayoccur.Investigateand take correctiveactions toeliminatethe causeofblade binding.
c) Whenrestartingasawintheworkpiece,centrethesawbladeinthekerfandcheckthat
sawteetharenotengagedintothematerial.Ifsawbladeisbinding,itmaywalkupor
kickbackfromtheworkpieceasthesawisrestarted.

Rengøring
Rengør regelmæssigt maskinkappen med en blød klud, helst efter hvert brug. Sørg for at
ventilationshullerne er fri for støv og snavs. Brug en blød klud, der er vædet i sæbevand til
at fjerne hårdnakket snavs. Brug ingen opløsningsmidler, så som benzin, alkohol, ammo-
niak, osv. Den slags stoffer beskadiger kunststofdelene.
Udskiftning af kulbørster

•Fjern skruerne (1).
• Træk kulbørsterne (2) ud fra rundsaven og undersøg dem for slitage.
• Sæt kulbørsterne tilbage i de forhåndenværende holdere.
• Kontroller, at kobberkontakten på kulbørsterne er i god kontakt med kobberdelen i
børsteholderen.
• Sæt skruerne (1) i igen og stram dem godt.
Efter mange driftstimer kan kulbørsterne være slidt. Derfor skal kulbørsterne
kontrolleres regelmæssigt efter hver 30 driftstimer. Hvis kulbørsterne er kortere
end 4 mm, skal de udskiftes med nye.
Smøring
Maskinen behøver ingen ekstra smøring.
Fejl
• Elektromotoren over-
ophedes.

Safetyinstructionslowerguard
a) Checklowerguardforproperclosingbeforeeachuse.Donotoperatethesawiflower
guarddoesnotmovefreelyandcloseinstantly.Neverclamportiethelowerguardintothe
openposition.Ifsawisaccidentallydropped,lowerguardmaybebent.Raisethelower
guardwiththeretractinghandleandmakesureitmovesfreelyanddoesnottouchthe
bladeoranyotherpart,inallanglesanddepthsofcut.
b) Checktheoperationofthelowerguardspring.Iftheguardandthespringarenotoperating
properly,theymustbeservicedbeforeuse.Lowerguardmayoperatesluggishlydueto
damagedparts,gummydeposits,orabuild-upofdebris.
c) Lowerguardshouldberetractedmanuallyonlyforspecialcutssuchas"plungecuts"and
"compoundcuts."Raiselowerguardbyretractinghandleandassoonasbladeentersthe
material,thelowerguardmustbereleased.Forallothersawing,thelowerguardshould
operateautomatically.
d) Alwaysobservethatthelowerguardiscoveringthebladebeforeplacingsawdownon
benchorfloor.An unprotected, coasting blade will cause the saw to walk backwards,
cuttingwhateverisinitspath.Beawareofthetimeittakesforthebladetostopafterswitch
isreleased.
Before using the circular saw
• Check the following points:
• Doesthevoltageofthemotorcorrespondwiththemainsvoltage(appliancesfora
mainsvoltageof230V
• Arethemainsleadandthemainspluginagoodcondition:solid,withoutanyloose
endsordamage;
• Isthesawblademissinganyteethorshowinganycracks,itsomustbereplaced
immediately.
• Makesurethebladeissecure.
• Usethiscircularsawtosawonlywood,wood-likeproducts.
• Donotusecircularsawbladeswicharedeformedordamaged.
• DonotuseHSSblades.
• Onlyusebladesmeetingtherequireddimensions,aswellasdataanddescriptions;
Neverapplyanybladesofwhichthethicknessisgreaterthanthatoftherivingknife.
• Donotstopthebladeofacircularsawbypressingthebladefromtheside.
• Checkthatthebladeguardcanfreelymoveandfullycloses.
• Neverlock-uptheguardintheopenposition.
• Neverputsidewardpressureontheblade.This may cause the blade to break.
• Becarefulwhencuttingwoodwithknots,nailsorcracksinitand/ordirtonit,asthesecan
causethebladetogetstuck.

Using the machine
• Useclampsoravicetoholdthework.
• Neverremovewoodchipsandsawdustthatisclosetothesawbladewithyourhands.If
therearesmallpiecesofwoodleftbetweenthefixedandthemovableparts,thecircular
sawwillhavetobestopped.The plug needs to be removed from the socket, before any left
piececanberemoved.
• Checkthatthebladeissuitableforthespindlespeedofthecircularsaw. Do not attempt to
cutbeforethecircularsawhasreachedfullspeed.Makesurethecircularsawrunswithout
load(i.e.isnotincontactwiththework)whenyouswitchiton. Thecircularsawmusthave
reacheditsfullspeedfirst.
• Nevercutwoodthatisthickerthanthedepthofthesawblade.
• Whencuttinginwoodenwallsorfloors,checkthereisnowiringorpipingwhereyouintend
tocut.
• Switchoffthe tool and wait until the blade has stopped completely before moving the saw
awayfromtheworkorputtingitdown.Hearingprotectionshouldbewornwhenusing
circularsaw.
Switch off the machine immediately when you discover:
• A defective mains plug or mains lead;
• A defective switch.
• Overheating of the circular saw.
• Smoke or odeur caused by scorched insulation.
Electrical safety
When using electric machines always observe the safety regulations applicable in your coun-
try to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury. Read the following safety
instructions and also the enclosed safety instructions. Keep these instructions in a safe place!
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating
plate.

5. VEDLIGEHOLDELSE
Sørg for at maskinen ikke står under strøm, når der udføres vedligeholdelse-
sarbejder på mekanikken.
Maskinerne er udviklet til at fungere længe uden problemer med et minimum af vedlige-
holdelse. Ved at rengøre maskinen regelmæssigt og behandle den korrekt, bidrager De til
en længere levetid for maskinen.
Fejl
Hvis rundsaven ikke virker hensigtsmæssigt, kan du gennemgå følgende mulige årsager
og tilhørende løsninger for at afhjælpe problemerne.

• Træk stopringen og savklingen ud og gør savklingen ren eller udskift den med en ny.
• Sæt igen savklingen tilbage på akslen. Sørg for at savklingens tænder peger i samme
retning som spaltekniven (4).
• Sørg for, at delekniven indstilles således, at
• Afstanden mellem den og tænderne på savklingen ikke er over end 5 mm.
• Tænderne på savklingen ikke stikker mere end 5 mm frem foran underkanten af
delekniven.
• Delekniven skal altid bruges, undtagen når der saves ind i midten af arbejdsemnet.
• Lad sikkerhedsskærmen vende tilbage over savklingen ved at løsne knappen (1).
• Tryk aksellåseknappen (2) i igen, monter stopringen (5) igen og stram sekskantskruen
godt igen.
4. BETJENING
Det anbefales at bruge høreværn, når der arbejdes med rundsaven.
Tilkobling/Frakobling

•Tryk på knappen (B) med højre hånds tommelfinger og hold knappen trykt ned.
• Tryk derefter på knappen (A). Rundsaven starter nu.
• Rundsaven stopper, når du slipper knappen (A).
Ibrugtagning
• Klem arbejdsemnet fast, således at begge hænderne er fri til at fastholde og betjene
rundsaven.
• Tilkobl rundsaven og placér savebunden på arbejdsemnet.
• Tryk forsigtigt på rundsaven og bevæg den langsomt frem langs den på forhånd teg-
nede skærelinie.
• Tryk savebunden fast mod arbejdsemnet.
Lad rundsaven gøre arbejdet! Undlad derfor at udøve for meget tryk på rund-
saven.

Replacing cables or plugs
If the mains cable becomes damaged, it must be replaced with a special mains cable
available from the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s customer service. Dispose of old
cables or plugs immediately after replacing them with new ones. It is dangerous to con-
nect the plug of a loose cable to a socket.
Using extension cables
Only use an approved extension cable suitable for the power input of the machine. The mini-
mum conductor size is 1.5 mm2.When using a cable reel always unwind the reel completely.
3. ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTING INSTRUCTIONS
Before adjusting the saw, make sure the plug is removed from the socket.
Setting the sawing angle (bevel)

• Loosen both knobs (1).
• Rotate the soleplate to the correct position (0° - 45°), and tighten the knobs. The
sawing angle (bevel) can be read on the protractor (2).
Fitting the ripfence

• Loosen knob (3).
• Insert the rip fence into the slots provided (4).
• Set the correct cut width and tighten the knob (3).
Setting the cutting depth

•Loosen knob (4).
• Move the soleplate (17) downwards.
• The cut depth of the saw blade can be read off on the side of the safety guard.
• Tighten the clamping knob (4) once the correct depth is set.
Exchanging or cleaning the saw blade

•Use the shaft locking knob (2) to prevent the shaft from rotating.
• Next loosen the hexagon screw (3) in the centre of the saw blade, using the Allen key
provided.
• Turn the safety guard to the rear, and hold it there with the aid of the knob (1).
• Withdraw the retaining ring and the saw blade, and clean the saw blade, or replace it
with a new one.
• Again place the saw blade back on the shaft. Ensure that the teeth of the saw blade
are pointing in the same direction as the riving knife (4).
• Ensure that the splitting wedge is set in such a way that
•The gap between it and the toothed wheel rim of the saw blade does not exceed 5 mm
